Description

彩色显象管的电子枪
本发明涉及一种彩色显象管的电子枪,特别涉及这样一种彩色显象管的电子枪,其中对形成主聚焦透镜的电极的电子束通孔形状的改进使得荧光屏上显象的聚焦和清晰度都得到改善。
图1示出了传统的彩色显象管,该彩色显象管是一种玻璃管壳,它由一个在其上涂敷了荧光膜的屏11和一个管锥13组成。该彩色显象管中具有一个电子枪8和一个选择颜色的阴罩14。在管锥13的管颈上安装有一个使电子束发生偏转的偏转线圈15。
图2示出了一种普通的电子枪。尽管有许多种对改善荧光屏上的图象有显著效果的电子枪,但这里仅给出了一种普通的电子枪。
该电子枪8含有:三个热子10和阴极9,位于阴极前面的一个控制电极4和一个屏电极5,位于屏电极5前面的一个聚焦电极3,一个阳极6和一个屏蔽杯7,所有这些零件按给定的间距排列。其中聚焦电极3有一个电极体1和一个杯环2。
在附图所示的电子枪8中,将热子10加热而使阴极9发射电子束。这些电子束穿过上述电极后,撞击到荧光屏上所涂的荧光膜上,由此使得荧光屏上显现出图象。
在这种情况下,如图2所示,该电子枪8具有两个静电透镜,其中一个静电透镜是一个由屏电极5和聚焦电极3之间的电位差形成的预聚焦透镜,而另一个静电透镜是一个由聚焦电极3和阳极6之间的电位差形成的主聚焦透镜,前者的作用是为了消除电子束的分散,后者的作用是为了使电子束在荧光屏上聚焦。
因此,为了在荧光屏上能获得良好的电子束束象点,人们已经进行了一些尝试,其中包括,改变电子枪中形成的透镜数量、改变电极的结构或者改进电子束通孔的结构。
图3示出了聚焦电极和阳极的电子束通孔。当聚焦电极3和阳极6的电子束通孔是真正的圆形时,如图所示,由于电子束通孔的直径小,不能形成大直径的透镜,而且,当电子束射向荧光屏的周边边缘时,由于球面象差而出现电子束象点形状变扁的现象,如图4所示,所以不能获得高清晰度的图象。上述现象使得显象管的质量降低。
还有,在美国专利4742279号中公开了为克服上述缺点的另一种尝试。在该专利中,在聚焦电极上形成一个附加的辅助聚焦透镜,辅助聚透镜的电子束通孔是正方形。该辅助聚焦透镜不能作为主透镜,但是,可以作为一个动态电极来防止圆形电子束变坏。然而,该辅助聚焦透镜引起了电极数量的增加。
还有,在欧洲专利公开NO.0152933B1中给出了又一种尝试。正如该公开文献所述的那样,提出了一种聚焦的电子枪,其中为了使第三电极产生的电子束轻微地改变轨迹,设置一些具有内缘翻边部分(burring portions)的纵长形电子束通孔,从而形成一个辅助聚焦透镜。然而,该电子枪也会导致电极数量的增加,并且其结构复杂而难以制造。
CN1030670A也公开了一种彩色显象管的电子枪,它包括热子、阴极、控制电极、屏电极、聚焦电极和阳极,构成主聚焦透镜的聚焦电极和阳极都具有纵长的椭圆形电子束通孔。
因此,鉴于上述现有技术的缺点而作出了本发明。本发明的目的是提供这样一种彩色显象管的电子枪,其中为了防止荧光屏周边边缘的电子束象点变扁,而增大形成主聚焦透镜的电极的电子束通孔的直径(diameters)。
为此,本发明提供了一种彩色显象管的电子枪,包括:热子、阴极、一个控制电极、一个屏电极、一个聚焦电极和一个阳极,所述形成主聚焦透镜的聚焦电极和阳极具有纵长形的电子束通孔,每个孔的纵向长度(Ys)大于横向长度(Xs),其特征在于所述聚焦电极和阳极的各纵长形的电子束通孔为纵长的八边形。

图5示出了本发明的电子枪。由于图中所示的本发明电子枪的一部分结构与图2所示的传统电子枪的相应部分的结构基本相同,因而,这些与图2所示的电子枪基本相同或相似的零件用同样的参考标号表示,且不需要作进一步地说明。
图6示出了聚焦电极3或阳极6,它们的作用是形成一个主聚焦透镜,使电子束聚焦。聚焦电极3的电子束通孔3b和阳极6的面对电子束通孔3b的电子束通孔6b具有扩大的、纵长的八边形,每个孔的纵向长度(Ys)大于横向长度(Xs)。
如上所述,聚焦电极3的电子束通孔3b和阳极6的面对电子束通孔3b的电子束通孔6b具有扩大的、纵长的八边形,从而,由电子束通孔3b和6b形成的透镜大于公知电子束通孔形成的透镜,由此,能够减少球面象差。
相应地,如图7所示,因为在荧光屏的中心部分显现的电子束象点具有真正的纵长形状,因此,利用球面象差,荧光屏周边边缘显现的电子束象点变形能实质性地减少。由此,提高了清晰度,改善了彩色显象管的质量。
虽然,在这个实施例中说明了作为本发明最佳形式的、纵长的八边形电子束通孔,但应当知道,在不超出本发明精神的情况下,本领域的技术人员可以对孔作出各种各样的变形,例如:纵长的圆形或基本四边形。
如上所述,本发明的电子枪具有简单的电极结构,从而使电极的电子束通孔能容易地加工。此外,可以获得良好的会聚性和清晰度,而且能降低制造成本。

1.一种彩色显象管的电子枪,包括:热子、阴极、一个控制电极、一个屏电极、一个聚焦电极和一个阳极,所述形成主聚焦透镜的聚焦电极和阳极具有纵长形的电子束通孔,每个孔的纵向长度(Ys)大于横向长度(Xs),其特征在于
