Abstract

Description
本发明涉及到一种GB21801778中所述的通用型旋转式金属切削刀具。
这种刀具包括一主体,此主体带有至少一个凹槽,在该凹槽内夹持着一个可替换的切削刀片,此刀片通常呈部分的螺旋形并具有碳化刀刃,尽管这种已知的刀具过去几年中已在商业上获得了相当的成功,但仍可以做进一步的改进。例如,由于要提供间隙以方便装配替换刀片,以及,当使用两个用于具有较大轴向长度的刀片的轴向间隔的夹持销栓时,下部销栓要设置在所述刀具头部的下端表面的上方,所以,在轻合金的切削加工过程中,切削屑会进入刀具主体与切削刀片之间的间隙,从而常常会导致即使在除去了夹持螺钉之后切削刀片也会卡在其凹座内。此外,在替换刀片的装配过程中,必须要谨慎以在上紧销栓锁定螺钉时确保已紧固的销栓不会旋转,这是因为,这种旋转会将邻近的刀片抬离其基座。
因此,本发明的基本目的是提供一种上述类型但具有进一步改进结构的旋转式金属切削刀具。
依照本发明,提供了一种旋转式金属切削刀具,它包括:
(i)一细长主体在一端上带有一柄把,该柄把用于被夹持在一机床内,而在此主体的另一端则设置有一切削头;
(ii)至少一个凹槽,此凸槽设置在切削头内的接收一切削刀片;
(iii)一位于所述主体上的凹座;
(iv)至少一个夹持销栓,此销栓处于凹座之内,并对着所述凹槽的配合面凭借此销栓的夹持面通过楔紧作用而夹持刀片,而所述销栓的夹持面则与刀片接合于上述凹槽配合面的相反一面相接合;
(v)推挤所述销栓使之与刀片作楔形夹持接合的装置;
(vi)所述凹座及销栓均带有至少一个扁平部分,以防止销栓旋转;以及
(vii)所述夹持销栓具有延长的、末端是切削头下部端面的夹持面。
这样,就本发明的切削刀具而言,首先,通过使夹持销栓的夹持面(或者,若每一刀片使用两个夹持栓,则使下部夹持销栓)延伸至切削头的下部端面来消除先有技术结构中所述切削刀具下部端面与刀片之间的间隙。因此,消除了该间隙内积累切削屑的可能性。其次,,夹持销栓与其凹座之间的扁平部分不仅能确保在上紧锁定螺钉时夹持销栓不会旋转,而且与此相反,能确保本发明的夹持销栓会可靠地牵引刀片使之与凹槽的配合面作牢固的配合接合。
如上所述,刀片的轴向长度要求使用两个轴向间隔的夹持销栓。而且,为了避免要保持所述切削刀具的平衡,该切削刀具最好设置多个刀片,例如,相隔180°的两个刀片,相隔120°的三个刀片或者相隔90°的四个刀片等。虽然刀片可以是扁平的,但它最好具有螺旋的形状并例如由碳化钨构成,本发明的切削刀具特别适合于这种类型的刀片。
最佳地,在夹持销栓上设置两个诸如呈两平行面的扁平部分。该扁平部分最好相对于销栓的夹持面垂直延伸或者大致如此。

在附图中,旋转式金属切削刀具包括一细长主体1,此主体在一端上带有一带柄把2,该柄把用于被夹持在一机床内,而在此主体的另一端则带有一切削头3。在切削头3上间隔120°设置有三个凹槽4,每一凹槽均用于接收一可替换的扭转成螺旋形在碳化钨切削刀片5。所述主体部件还提供了两个与每个凹槽4相交的凹座6、7。第一或上部夹持销栓8安置在凹座6内,第二或下部夹持销栓9安置在凹座7内。夹持销栓8、9对着每一凹槽4的配合面10凭借每一销栓的夹持面11通过楔紧作用而夹持相关的刀片5,而所述销栓的夹持面则与相关刀片5接合于凹槽配合面10的相反一面12相接合。每一夹持销栓8、9均提供有一通孔13以接收一具有凹进六边形头部的螺钉14,以便推挤各个销栓8、9使之与相关的刀片5作楔形夹持接合。每个凹座6、7及每个夹持销栓8、9均具有各自的扁平部分15、15A、16、16A以在上紧相关螺钉14的过程中防止夹持销栓旋转。下部夹持销栓7即靠近切削头3下部端面17的销栓具有延长的、终止于19处的夹持面18以便与切削头的端面17相邻接,或者大致如此。
除夹持面11的延伸部19以外,第一或上部夹持销栓8与销栓9完全一样。
Claims (2)
1.一种旋转式金属切削刀具,它包括:
(i)一细长主体(1),此主体在一端上带有一柄把(2),该柄把用于被夹持在一机床内,而在此主体的另一端则设置有一切削头(3);
(ii)至少一个凹槽(4),此凹槽设置在切削头(3)内以接收一切削刀片(5);
(iii)一位于所述主体上的凹座(7);
(iv)一个夹持销栓(9),此销栓处于凹座(7)之内并对着凹槽(5)的配合面(10)凭借此销栓(9)的夹持面(11)通过楔紧作用而夹持刀片(5),而销栓(9)的夹持面(11)则与刀片(5)接合于凹槽配合面(10)的那面的反面(12)相接合;
(v)推挤销栓(9)使之与刀片(5)作楔形夹持接合的装置(13、14);其特征在于:
(vi)凹座(7)及销栓(9)均带有扁平部分(15、15A、16、16A),以防止销栓旋转;以及
(vii)夹持销栓(9)具有延伸终止于切削头(3)下部端面(17)的夹持面(18)。
2.如权利要求1所述之刀具,其特征在于,刀片(5)具有一定的轴向长度,从而提供一与销栓(9)轴向间隔的第二夹持销栓(8)。
