触控基板以及触控装置
技术领域
[0001] 本发明涉及触控技术领域,具体涉及一种触控基板以及触控装置。
背景技术
[0002] 目前可实现宽视角的显示技术中主要包括IPS技术(In-Plane Switch,平面内转 换技术)和ADSDS(ADvanced Super Dimension Switch,高级超维场转换技术,简称ADS);其 中ADS技术主要是通过同一平面内狭缝电极边缘所产生的电场以及狭缝电极层与板状电极 层间产生的电场形成多维电场,使液晶盒内狭缝电极间、电极正上方所有取向液晶分子都 能够产生旋转,从而提高了液晶工作效率并增大了透光效率。高级超维场转换技术可以提 高TFT-LCD产品的画面品质,具有高分辨率、高透过率、低功耗、宽视角、高开口率、低色差、 无挤压水波纹(push Mura)等优点。
[0003]目前,存在ADS技术与内嵌式触控(in cell touch)技术相结合的趋势,但在如何 降低触控电极之间的节点耦合电容的问题上,目前的in cell touch触控屏尚未出现具体 的技术支持。
发明内容
[0004] 有鉴于此,本发明的主要目的在于提供一种触控基板以及触控装置,以降低触控 电极间的耦合电容,提供触控灵敏度。
[0005] 为达到上述目的,本发明的技术方案是这样实现的:
[0006] 本发明的实施例提供一种触控基板,包括薄膜晶体管、以及透明的公共电极层和 像素电极层;其中,所述公共电极层包括沿第一方向延伸的公共电极和触控驱动电极,在所 述公共电极和触控驱动电极之间填充有绝缘介质;
[0007] 所述触控基板上还设有与所述触控驱动电极异层设置且沿第二方向延伸的触控 感应电极,该触控感应电极覆盖所述公共电极和触控驱动电极之间的间隙区域;
[0008] 在一巾贞画面的显不时间内,所述触控驱动电极用于分时地传递公共电极信号和触 控扫描信号。
[0009] 可选的,所述触控基板上形成有异层设置的栅线和数据线;
[0010] 所述触控驱动电极包括沿栅线方向延伸且相连接的多个菱形电极,所述公共电极 包括多个位于所述触控驱动电极之间的菱形电极;
[0011] 所述触控感应电极包括沿数据线方向延伸且相连接的多个菱形框状电极。
[0012] 在本发明另一实施例中,所述公共电极的多个菱形电极通过与所述栅线同层设置 的公共电极线进行连接。
[0013] 在本发明又一实施例中,所述触控驱动电极通过过孔与连接电极相连,所述连接 电极与所述栅线同层设置。
[0014] 在本发明再一实施例中,所述触控感应电极的多个菱形框状电极除了覆盖所述公 共电极和触控驱动电极之间的间隙区域之外,还覆盖所述公共电极的部分区域。
[0015] 可选地,所述像素电极层包括呈矩阵排列的多个像素电极;所述触控感应电极包 括横纵交错且相互连接的金属网格线,横向延伸的所述金属网格线位于相邻的两行像素电 极之间,纵向延伸的所述金属网格线位于相邻的两列像素电极之间。
[0016] 可选地,所述公共电极层、所述像素电极层和所述触控感应电极依次设置在衬底 基板上,其中所述公共电极层靠近所述衬底基板。
[0017] 进一步地,所述公共电极层为狭缝电极层,所述像素电极层为板状电极层。
[0018] 本发明的实施例还提供了一种触控装置,包括前述的触控基板。
[0019] 可选的,上述触控装置还包括对向基板,该对向基板上设有彩膜层和黑矩阵;所述 触控基板上的触控感应电极在该对向基板上的投影位于黑矩阵区域内。
[0020] 本发明实施例提供的触控基板及触控装置,在ADS技术与in cell touch技术相结 合的情况下,本发明实施例中触控驱动电极、触控感应电极的设置方式是可行性较高的in Cell touch方案。由于触控驱动电极与触控感应电极之间不存在正对面积,降低了触控驱 动电极与触控感应电极之间的耦合,因此能够最大限度地降低触控电极节点电容,保证RC 延迟满足1C设计要求。另外,由于触控驱动电极与触控感应电极均设置在同一个触控基板 上,因此最大限度地降低了 1C匹配难度,有利于将显示装置的驱动1C和触控1C的整合,实现 单片(One Chip)设置,以便适应显示装置的未来发展需要,提高产品市场竞争力。

具体实施方式
[0027]下面将以具备触控功能的液晶显示装置为例,并结合附图对本发明实施例中提供 的触控基板及触控装置进行介绍。
[0028] 结合图1和图4所示,本发明实施例提供的触控基板,包括薄膜晶体管、以及透明的 公共电极层和像素电极层;其中,所述公共电极层包括沿第一方向延伸的公共电极18和触 控驱动电极6,在所述公共电极18和触控驱动电极6之间填充有绝缘介质;
[0029] 所述触控基板上还设有与所述触控驱动电极6异层设置且沿第二方向延伸的触控 感应电极4,该触控感应电极4覆盖所述公共电极和触控驱动电极之间的间隙区域11;
[0030] 在一帧画面的显示时间内,所述触控驱动电极6用于分时地传递公共电极信号和 触控扫描信号。
[0031] 在实际应用中,可以进行如图1所示的设置以形成液晶显示装置。图1中,第一衬底 基板1上设置有彩膜(RGB) 14、黑矩阵2以及0C (Overcoating)层3等结构以形成彩膜基板,第 二衬底基板8上除了由栅极15、源极16、漏极17构成的薄膜晶体管以外,还设置有与栅极15 相连的栅线10、与源极I6相连的数据线9、触控驱动电极6、与漏极17相连的像素电极5、以及 触控感应电极4等结构以形成阵列基板;彩膜基板与阵列基板对盒后形成液晶盒。具体而 言,在所述液晶盒中,对盒的彩膜基板与阵列基板之间填充有液晶13。
[0032]图1所示的液晶显示装置是以基于ADS型阵列基板为例的;其中,公共电极层、像素 电极层和触控感应电极依次设置在衬底基板上,其中公共电极层更靠近衬底基板;进一步 地,公共电极层为狭缝电极层,像素电极层为板状电极层。
[0033]在上述液晶显示装置的结构中,具有触控驱动电极6和触控感应电极4的阵列基板 即为触控基板。
[0034]可选的,在上述触控基板上形成有异层设置的栅线10和数据线9;
[0035]所述触控驱动电极6包括沿栅线10方向延伸且相连接的多个菱形电极,所述公共 电极18包括多个位于所述触控驱动电极之间的菱形电极;
[0036]所述触控感应电极4包括沿数据线方向延伸且相连接的多个菱形框状电极。
[0037]结合附图3所示,触控驱动电极6的结构可以是将由透明I TO材料形成的公共电极 层的全部或部分电极分割成若干条状电极,将分割出的条状电极作为触控驱动电极6。进行 触控时,触控驱动电极6作为驱动电极使用;进行显示时,触控驱动电极6作为公共电极使 用。
[0038] 在作为公共电极层的全部或部分电极中,还挖出将触控驱动电极6与一部分电极 相隔离的间隙区域11,被间隙区域11所隔离出的电极(即被间隙区域11所包围的电极)如图 3中的公共电极18所示,呈浮岛状(具体可以为菱形、其它多边形等),固定作为常态的公共 电极使用。
[0039] 触控驱动电极6与常态的公共电极18之间可以不具有特定的设置关系,而是在作 为公共电极的全部或部分电极上随意设置有触控驱动电极6以及常态的公共电极18。当然, 基于工艺的考虑,也可以针对触控驱动电极6与公共电极18应用具体的设计规则,如:逐行 间隔设置驱动电极6与公共电极18。
[0040] 通常,触控驱动电极6以及常态的公共电极18上均设置有一定数量的过孔12,过孔 12可以同与栅极同层设置的连接线相连,以降低电阻。
[0041] 例如,在本发明的一个实施例中,公共电极18的多个菱形电极通过与栅线同层设 置的公共电极线进行连接;

[0043] 触控驱动电极6通过过孔与连接电极相连,该连接电极与栅线同层设置。
[0044] 在本发明的实施例中,触控感应电极4覆盖公共电极和触控驱动电极之间的间隙 区域11。
[0045]具体地,在间隙区域11中,可以设置如图4所示的触控感应电极4,不同触控感应电 极4之间可以通过连接桥19相连。通常,触控驱动电极6可以按行设置,触控感应电极4可以 按列设置。间隙11呈菱形框等多边形框状,设置于间隙11中的触控感应电极4则通常也呈菱 形框等多边形框状。
[0046]需要说明的是,触控感应电极4的多个菱形框状电极除了覆盖所述公共电极和触 控驱动电极之间的间隙区域之外,还覆盖所述公共电极的部分区域。也就是说,在保证不增 加触控感应电极4和触控驱动电极6的交叠区域的前提下,可以将触控感应电极4向内部扩 展,即:增加触控感应电极4的内缩距离。
[0047] 触控感应电极4的材质要保证电阻尽量小,比如:方阻小于1的材料,通常为金属。 [0048]将图4中的触控感应电极4进行局部放大后得到图2所示的结构。从图2中可以看 至IJ,像素电极层包括呈矩阵排列的多个像素电极;触控感应电极4包括横纵交错且相互连接 的金属网格线,横向延伸的所述金属网格线位于相邻的两行像素电极之间,纵向延伸的所 述金属网格线位于相邻的两列像素电极之间。这样设置触控感应电极,既可以利用电阻率 较低的金属材料来制作触控感应电极,又不会影响到像素单元的开口率。
[0049]本发明的实施例还提供了一种触控装置,包括前述实施例中的触控基板。
[0050]可选的,上述触控装置还包括对向基板,该对向基板上设有彩膜层和黑矩阵;所述 触控基板上的触控感应电极在该对向基板上的投影位于黑矩阵区域内。
[0051] 在本发明的实施例及其对应附图中,是以液晶显示装置为例来介绍触控基板及触 控装置的。本发明所提供的触控基板除了可以应用在液晶显示装置中,也可以作为0LED (有 机发光二极管)的背板从而实现具备触控功能的0LED设备。
[0052] 本发明实施例提供的触控基板及触控装置,在ADS技术与in cell touch技术相结 合的情况下,本发明实施例中触控驱动电极、触控感应电极的设置方式是可行性较高的in Cell touch方案。由于触控驱动电极与触控感应电极之间不存在正对面积,降低了触控驱 动电极与触控感应电极之间的耦合,因此能够最大限度地降低触控电极节点电容,保证RC 延迟满足1C设计要求。另外,由于触控驱动电极与触控感应电极均设置在同一个触控基板 上,因此最大限度地降低了1C匹配难度,有利于将显示装置的驱动1C和触控1C的整合,实现 单片(One Chip)设置,以便适应显示装置的未来发展需要,提高产品市场竞争力。
