Abstract

本发明公开了一种偏光片,包括叠层设置的第一保护膜、偏光膜以及第二保护膜,其中,所述第二保护膜上还依次设置有一粗糙结构层以及一表面保护膜。本发明还公开了一种液晶面板,包括相对设置的薄膜晶体管基板和彩色滤光基板以及位于所述薄膜晶体管基板和彩色滤光基板之间的液晶层,所述薄膜晶体管基板连接有第一偏光片,所述彩色滤光基板连接有第二偏光片,其中,所述第二偏光片采用如上所述的偏光片。进一步地,本发明还公开了包含如上所述液晶面板的液晶显示器。

Description

偏光片、液晶面板以及液晶显示器
技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种偏光片、液晶面板以及液晶显示器。
背景技术
液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD),为平面超薄的显示设备,它由一定数量的彩色或黑白像素组成,放置于光源或者反射面前方。液晶显示器功耗很低,并且具有高画质、体积小、重量轻的特点,因此倍受大家青睐,成为显示器的主流。目前液晶显示器是以薄膜晶体管(Thin Film Transistor,TFT)液晶显示器为主。
随着TFT-LCD的面积越来越大,其观察角度不断增大,画面的对比度不断降低,画面的清晰度下降。对于垂直配向(Vertical Alignment,VA)模式的液晶面板,垂直配向的常黑模式中,液晶分子为垂直站立设置,使得VA模式在暗态有出色表现,从而正视角有很高对比度。但是在侧面观察时,VA模式的液晶面板对比度下降非常明显,画面颜色容易偏白(color washout),并且在不同视角下出现明显色偏(color shift)现象。
发明内容
鉴于现有技术存在的不足,本发明提供了一种偏光片以及包含该偏光片的液晶面板,通过改进偏光片的结构,增加了液晶面板在大视角下的对比度和清晰度,以解决液晶面板在不同视角下出现的色偏问题。
为了实现上述目的,本发明采用了如下的技术方案:
一种偏光片,包括叠层设置的第一保护膜、偏光膜以及第二保护膜,其中,所述第二保护膜上还依次设置有一粗糙结构层以及一表面保护膜。
优选地,所述粗糙结构层至少具有一平面和一粗糙面,所述平面与所述第二保护膜连接,所述粗糙面与所述表面保护膜连接。
优选地,所述粗糙结构层至少具有一平面和一粗糙面,所述平面与所述表面保护膜连接,所述粗糙面与所述第二保护膜连接。
优选地,所述偏光片还包括一粘合层,所述粘合层连接于所述第一保护膜的与所述偏光膜相对的一侧。
优选地,所述偏光膜的材料为聚乙烯醇。
优选地,所述第一保护膜和第二保护膜的材料均为三醋酸纤维素;所述粘合层的材料为压敏胶粘剂。
优选地,所述粗糙结构层的材料为透光材料;所述粗糙面为通过摩擦工艺在结构层表面形成的锯齿状结构,锯齿状结构沿横向和/或纵向排布形成阵列结构;或者是,所述粗糙面为通过刻蚀工艺在结构层表面形成凸点状阵列。
本发明还提供了一种液晶面板,包括相对设置的薄膜晶体管基板和彩色滤光基板以及位于所述薄膜晶体管基板和彩色滤光基板之间的液晶层,所述薄膜晶体管基板连接有第一偏光片,所述彩色滤光基板连接有第二偏光片,其中,所述第二偏光片采用如上所述的偏光片。
优选地,该液晶面板为垂直配向模式的液晶面板。
本发明的另一方面是提供一种液晶显示装置,包括液晶面板及背光模组,所述液晶面板与所述背光模组相对设置,所述背光模组提供显示光源给所述液晶面板,以使所述液晶面板显示影像,其中,所述液晶面板采用如上所述的液晶面板。
相比于现有技术,本发明实施例中,通过对位于液晶面板出光面的偏光片的结构进行改进,主要是在偏光片中增加了一粗糙结构层,使得出射的光线经过粗糙结构层反射和折射等形成漫反射,改善出射光线的均匀性,增加了液晶面板在大视角下的对比度和清晰度,解决了液晶面板在不同视角下出现的色偏问题。特别地,粗糙结构层至少包括一平面和一粗糙面,当粗糙面朝向液晶层设置时,在液晶面板全黑模式的情况下,可以减少偏光片粗糙表面的漫反射,避免出现面板泛白的问题。

具体实施方式
为了使本发明的目的、技术方案以及优点更加清楚明白,下面将结合附图用实施例对本发明做进一步说明。
如图1所示,本实施例提供的液晶显示器,包括液晶面板100及背光模组200,液晶面板100与背光模组200相对设置,背光模组200提供显示光源给液晶面板100,以使液晶面板100显示影像。
其中,如图2所示,液晶面板100包括相对设置的薄膜晶体管(TFT)基板10和彩色滤光(CF)基板20以及位于薄膜晶体管基板10和彩色滤光基板20之间的液晶层30。本实施例中,液晶层30采用垂直配向(Vertical Alignment,VA)模式。薄膜晶体管基板10连接有第一偏光片40,彩色滤光基板20连接有第二偏光片50。
如图3所示,第二偏光片50包括叠层设置的第一保护膜2、偏光膜1、第二保护膜3、粗糙结构层6以及表面保护膜5。在本实施例中,参阅图3,粗糙结构层6至少具有一平面6a和一粗糙面6b,其中,平面6a与第二保护膜3连接,粗糙面6b与表面保护膜5连接。通过对位于液晶面板出光面的偏光片的结构进行改进,主要是在偏光片中增加了一粗糙结构层,使得出射的光线经过粗糙结构层反射和折射等形成漫反射,改善出射光线的均匀性,增加了液晶面板在大视角下的对比度和清晰度,解决了液晶面板在不同视角下出现的色偏问题。
在另外的一个实施例中,如图4所示,粗糙结构层6的平面6a与表面保护膜5连接,粗糙面6b与第二保护膜3连接。在该实施例中,粗糙面6b朝向液晶层30设置,在液晶面板全黑模式的情况下,可以减少偏光片粗糙表面的漫反射,避免出现面板泛白的问题。
进一步地,在如上的实施例中,粗糙结构层6的材料为透光材料,粗糙面6b可以是通过摩擦工艺在结构层表面形成的锯齿状结构,锯齿状结构可以是沿横向和/或纵向排布的阵列结构;粗糙面6b也可以是通过刻蚀工艺在结构层表面形成的凸点状阵列。
参阅图3和图4,本发明实施例提供的偏光片50还包括一粘合层4,粘合层4连接于第一保护膜2的与偏光膜1相对的一侧。偏光片50通过该粘合层4连接到彩色滤光基板20上。粘合层4的材料可以选择为压敏胶粘剂(pressure sensitiveadhesive,PSA)。
进一步地,在如上的实施例中,偏光膜1的材料为聚乙烯醇(Polyvinylalcohol,PVA);第一保护膜2和第二保护膜3的材料均为三醋酸纤维素(TriacetylCellulose,TAC),TAC保护膜2、3的主要是用于保护PVA偏光膜1,以提升PVA偏光膜1的机械性能,防止PVA偏光膜1收缩。
综上所述,本发明实施例中,通过对位于液晶面板出光面的偏光片的结构进行改进,主要是在偏光片中增加了一粗糙结构层,使得出射的光线经过粗糙结构层反射和折射等形成漫反射,改善出射光线的均匀性,增加了液晶面板在大视角下的对比度和清晰度,解决了液晶面板在不同视角下出现的色偏问题。特别地,粗糙结构层至少包括一平面和一粗糙面,当粗糙面朝向液晶层设置时,在液晶面板全黑模式的情况下,可以减少偏光片粗糙表面的漫反射,避免出现面板泛白的问题。

1.一种偏光片,包括叠层设置的第一保护膜(2)、偏光膜(1)以及第二保护膜(3),其特征在于,所述第二保护膜(3)上还依次设置有一粗糙结构层(6)以及一表面保护膜(5)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的偏光片,其特征在于,所述粗糙结构层(6)至少具有一平面(6a)和一粗糙面(6b),所述平面(6a)与所述第二保护膜(3)连接,所述粗糙面(6b)与所述表面保护膜(5)连接。
3.根据权利要求1所述的偏光片,其特征在于,所述粗糙结构层(6)至少具有一平面(6a)和一粗糙面(6b),所述平面(6a)与所述表面保护膜(5)连接,所述粗糙面(6b)与所述第二保护膜(3)连接。
4.根据权利要求1-3任一所述的偏光片,其特征在于,所述偏光片还包括一粘合层(4),所述粘合层(4)连接于所述第一保护膜(2)的与所述偏光膜(1)相对的一侧。
5.根据权利要求4所述的偏光片,其特征在于,所述偏光膜(1)的材料为聚乙烯醇。
6.根据权利要求4所述的偏光片,其特征在于,所述第一保护膜(2)和第二保护膜(3)的材料均为三醋酸纤维素;所述粘合层(4)的材料为压敏胶粘剂。
7.根据权利要求4所述的偏光片,其特征在于,所述粗糙结构层(6)的材料为透光材料;所述粗糙面(6b)为通过摩擦工艺在结构层表面形成的锯齿状结构,锯齿状结构沿横向和/或纵向排布形成阵列结构;或者是,所述粗糙面(6b)为通过刻蚀工艺在结构层表面形成凸点状阵列。
8.一种液晶面板,包括相对设置的薄膜晶体管基板(10)和彩色滤光基板(20)以及位于所述薄膜晶体管基板(10)和彩色滤光基板(20)之间的液晶层(30),所述薄膜晶体管基板(10)连接有第一偏光片(40),所述彩色滤光基板(20)连接有第二偏光片(50),其特征在于,所述第二偏光片(50)为权利要求1-7任一所述的偏光片。
9.根据权利要求8所述的液晶面板,其特征在于,该液晶面板为垂直配向模式的液晶面板。
