背景技术

具体实施方式
本申请描述了减少喷雾漂移的方法和组合物。所述方法和组合物减少了在空中和地面喷雾施用两者中可漂移的除草剂喷雾的细粒的量。该方法包括使用混入了脂肪酸烷基酯、脂肪酸酰胺、和/或甘油三脂肪酸酯以及一种或多种除草剂的含水除草剂喷雾混合物。本申请使用的术语脂肪酸烷基酯和脂肪酸酰胺是指具有式I和II的脂肪酸烷基酯和脂肪酸酰胺:

最佳喷雾液滴尺寸取决于使用除草剂组合物的应用。如果液滴过大,则喷雾的覆盖率较小;即,大的液滴将会降落在某些区域,而介于其间的区域将会接收到极少或没有喷雾覆盖。最大可接受的液滴尺寸可取决于每单位面积待施用的组合物的量以及对喷雾覆盖率均匀性的要求。较小的液滴提供较均匀的覆盖率,但是较倾向于在喷雾过程中漂移。因此,必须使施用参数例如喷雾覆盖率均匀性与较小液滴漂移的趋势相平衡。例如,如果在喷雾过程中是特别多风的,则可能需要较大液滴以减少漂移,而在较平静的天气则可接受较小的液滴。
除了特定的含水除草剂组合物的物理性质之外,喷雾液滴尺寸也可以取决于喷雾设备,例如,喷嘴尺寸和构造。喷雾漂移的减少可源自多种因素,包括减少细喷雾液滴(最小直径<150μm)的产生和增大喷雾液滴的体积中值直径(VMD)。在任何情况下,对于给定的喷雾设备、施用参数、和条件,并且基于脂肪酸烷基酯、脂肪酸酰胺、和/或甘油三脂肪酸酯,使用本申请所述组合物和方法产生的多个喷雾液滴的中值直径增至高于不包括本申请所述脂肪酸烷基酯、脂肪酸酰胺、或甘油三脂肪酸酯的喷雾组合物的该直径。

包含2,4-D和草甘膦的含水喷雾溶液倾向于在某些条件和浓度下不相容,导致产品性能问题以及难以使用该产品,即,难以田地施用该产品。喷雾溶液中的不相容性可如下最小化:使用极小量的2,4-D,例如小于约3wt%ae(酸等价物),相对于总组合物;和/或使用相容性添加剂,例如描述于美国申请61/523,958,其通过参考并入本申请。

含有内在脂肪酸烷基酯的2,4-D胆碱含水浓缩物:
如下制备含水除草剂浓缩物,其包含383克酸等价物每千克(gae/kg)2,4-D胆碱、40g/kg的411表面活性剂(Stepan;Northfield,IL)、2.5g/kg乙二胺四乙酸胆碱盐(EDTA-胆碱;通过将1028.25g的EDTA酸和689.7g的DI水添加到2310.0g胆碱氢氧化物溶液(45wt%)中并搅拌直到所有固体都溶解而制备)、和90g/kg一种或多种脂肪酸烷基酯(表1)。首先向4-oz管形瓶装入9.00g脂肪酸酯。向管形瓶中添加4.00g的411,86.00g基于ae为44.5wt%的2,4-D胆碱盐水溶液(通过在低剪切搅拌下使4171.0g的2,4-D酸片(工业级,97.1wt%)溶解进4789.4g胆碱氢氧化物溶液(45%水溶液)中制备,得到pH为7.0和密度为1.21g/mL的溶液),最后添加1.00g的EDTA-胆碱水溶液(25wt%)。然后使用Vibra-CellTM超声处理器(Sonics&Materials,Inc.;Newtown,CT)将混合物均化,得到100g均匀的除草剂浓缩物。

按照所述制备含水除草剂浓缩物,其包含383gae/kg的2,4-D胆碱、40g/kg的411表面活性剂(Stepan;Northfield,IL)、2.5g/kg乙二胺四乙酸胆碱盐、2.5g/kg聚合物表面活性剂AtloxTM 4912(Croda,Edison,NJ)以及40或92.5g/kg脂肪酸烷基酯(1218-U;C12-C18脂肪酸甲酯的混合物;BASF-Cognis;Cincinnati,OH)。首先向4-oz管形瓶中装入4.00g or9.25g的1218-U。向管形瓶中添加4.00g的411和0.25g的4912。然后,向管形瓶中添加86.00g的44.5wt%ae 2,4-D胆碱盐水溶液和0.25g的EDTA-胆碱溶液(25wt%)。最后,添加去离子水,得到各自为100g的除草剂浓缩物。然后使用超声处理器(Sonics,Vibra-Cell)将混合物均化。按照该方式制备2种包含脂肪酸酯的样品以及1种仅包含2,4-D和EDTA-胆碱的浓缩物(对照样品)。

33.权利要求31的方法,其中所述植物生长素除草剂是2,4-D胆碱盐或2,4-D二甲基铵盐,所述草甘膦是草甘膦二甲基铵盐、草甘膦异丙基铵盐或草甘膦钾盐,草丁膦盐是草丁膦铵盐,式I的脂肪酸烷基酯是己酸甲酯,辛酸甲酯,癸酸甲酯,月桂酸甲酯,肉豆蔻酸甲酯,棕榈酸甲酯,硬脂酸甲酯,油酸甲酯,亚油酸甲酯,亚麻酸甲酯,或其混合物。
34.权利要求31的方法,其中所述植物生长素除草剂是2,4-D胆碱盐,所述草甘膦是草甘膦二甲基铵盐,式I的脂肪酸烷基酯是己酸甲酯,辛酸甲酯,癸酸甲酯,月桂酸甲酯,肉豆蔻酸甲酯,棕榈酸甲酯,硬脂酸甲酯,油酸甲酯,亚油酸甲酯,亚麻酸甲酯,或其混合物。
35.权利要求31的方法,其中所述植物生长素除草剂是2,4-D胆碱盐或2,4-D二甲基铵盐,所述草甘膦是草甘膦二甲基铵盐、草甘膦异丙基铵盐或草甘膦钾盐,式III的甘油三脂肪酸酯是选自大豆油、菜子油、橄榄油、蓖麻油、葵花籽油、杏仁油、低芥酸菜子油、ω-9低芥酸菜子油、椰油、玉米油、棉籽油、亚麻籽油、棕榈油、花生油、红花油、芝麻油、桐油、或其混合物的植物油或种子油。
36.权利要求31的方法,其中所述植物生长素除草剂是2,4-D胆碱盐,所述草甘膦是草甘膦二甲基铵盐或草甘膦钾盐,式III的甘油三脂肪酸酯是选自大豆油、菜子油、橄榄油、蓖麻油、葵花籽油、杏仁油、低芥酸菜子油、ω-9低芥酸菜子油、椰油、玉米油、棉籽油、亚麻籽油、棕榈油、花生油、红花油、芝麻油、桐油、或其混合物的植物油或种子油。
