Abstract
公开了寻呼UE的方法、基站及UE,该方法包括:基站接收核心网侧下发的用于寻呼UE的寻呼消息,该寻呼消息中包含作为第一参数的eDRX周期,和用于标识eDRX周期中普通状态持续的超帧个数的第二参数;基站根据UE的UE标识、以及第一参数和第二参数计算用于寻呼UE的超帧;如果确定当前超帧与用于寻呼UE的超帧匹配时,则当前超帧处于普通状态,基站在当前超帧向UE下发寻呼消息。本发明通过设置用超帧表示的eDRX周期,因此可以在更长的寻呼周期内实现对M2M网络中的UE进行寻呼,从而使得M2M网络中的UE无需被频繁唤醒,节省了这些UE的电量,并且在适应了这些UE的时延特性的同时,提升了M2M网络的寻呼性能。
