Abstract
一轴承支承件及若干轴承形成一子装件,子装件可沿轴承轴线方向插入摇臂的一个孔中。于是可将一个支承螺栓穿过摇臂上的一个孔,并穿过轴承支承件内的一个孔,以便和摇臂接合,并使摇臂与轴承定位。还公开了一个内套筒和轴承支承件的特殊构形,以便于用粉末金属成型来制造轴承支承件。
Description
本发明一般涉及内燃机气门操纵机构,尤其涉及具有减摩轴承的摇摆式摇臂组装件。
传统的内燃机气门传动系摇臂用各种轴承装置适应负荷。除了由摇臂反抗气门弹簧力压气门而产生的负载外,摇臂本身的摇摆动作也产生负荷。为提高内燃机的燃油效率和性能,用有滚柱的减摩轴承支承摇臂,以代替滑动轴承。
一般说来,带有减摩轴承的摇臂组装件,有一根支承摇臂的支承轴。支承轴垂直安装在从发动机盖上伸出的支承螺栓上。该摇臂利用安装在摇臂上的控制杯形滚针轴承,在支承轴上旋转,支承轴用作内滚道。
在支承轴两端的挡圈与轴承座接触,限制支承轴相对于摇臂的轴向移动。
这种摇臂组装件价昂而制造困难。首先将支承轴进行机加工并淬火,并在将轴承向支承轴上安装前,先将摇臂安置在支承轴上。然后将轴承杯从相反的方向以压配合方式压入摇臂内。最后,将挡圈安装在支承轴两端以限制轴承的轴向移动。
这种摇臂组装件的大部分化费,在于需要拉制具有带端轴颈的杯形滚针轴承,并需要对支承轴进行机加工和淬火。由于在发动机体中最后组装时,要求有许多工序,还要增加化费。虽然现今的摇臂组装件可提高燃油效率和性能,但与这些组合件相关的成本,使之在许多应用场合不实用。
US-3251350公开了一种带有滚柱轴承的内燃机用的摇臂,然而因锁环的干扰,其轴承和支承件不能作为一个子装件被轴向插入。此外,该专利也没有公开或建议摇臂孔的直径应大于轴承的直径,以形成间隙装配。
因此,本发明的目的在于提出一种克服上述缺点的摇臂组装件,以使减摩轴承获得高的效率和良好的性能,降低制造成本和减少制造困难。本发明同样寻求降低支承轴加工和热处理方面的费用以及降低和将摇臂最终装配到发动机上所需的许多步骤有关的费用。
本发明的摇臂组装件,包括:用于安装在支承螺栓上的轴承支承件;两个具有共同轴线、用轴承支承件支承并保持的环形轴承,轴承的圆柱形外周与支承螺栓垂直;一个具有一水平孔的摇臂,并具有用以安装支承螺栓的孔;摇臂上的保持装置,可与支承螺栓连接以限制摇臂与支承螺栓分离,并限制摇臂相对于轴承的轴向移动;其特征在于:摇臂孔大到足以使轴承支承件能易于插入孔中,于是轴承与摇臂形成松配合,使摇臂可在轴承上围绕轴承支承件的轴线转动;轴承包括一个形成内滚道的内套筒,一个形成外滚道的外套筒,其间有若干滚柱;所述的轴承圆柱形外周包络轴承支承件。
上述的以及其他的方面,从下文关于发明的详细叙述中,结合附图考虑,便可清楚了解。

参看附图,图1表示内燃机1O的一部分和气门罩12,推杆14,气缸盖16,提升阀18,气门杆20,气门弹簧22及气门弹簧座24的相对位置。这些发动机部件属于传统类型,在此叙述以说明本发明的背景。
摇臂26被支承在轴承件28上,形成本发明的摇臂组装件。如图2及3所示,轴承支承件28有基本垂直的第一孔32,直径略大于支承螺栓30的直径,使支承螺栓30可插入。两个环形滚柱轴承34安装在轴承件28的圆柱形端部38上。滚柱轴承34在内套筒42与外套筒46之间有圆柱形滚柱40。
内套筒42以压配合方式或被打装到端部38上,它有径向外伸的第一突缘,处于滚柱40的轴向外侧,以防止轴承34向外移动。外套筒46有径向内伸的第二突缘,处于滚柱40的轴向内侧。轴承支承件28有台肩50,从端部38径向外伸,以防止轴承34在与外套筒46接合时向内移动。
内套筒42及外套筒46都可拉制,并淬火,形成有轴承品质的滚道。制造工艺经济,与拉制杯形滚柱轴承的杯的制造工艺相似。滚柱40为圆柱形。有意义的是轴承34不需要高价的带端轴颈的滚柱。
在轴承支承件28的端部38之间,是基本圆柱形的中间部52,与肩台50相接。肩台50与中间部52的断面定得使它们径向外伸不超过轴承34的圆柱形外周。于是,轴承支承件28与轴承34形成一个子装件,外部尺寸基本为圆柱形,最大直径等于轴承34的直径。
在摇臂26上制有基本水平的通孔54,称第二孔,垂直于支承螺栓30。孔54的直径至少与轴承34的直径相同,使轴承支承件28的子装件及轴承34,可轴向插入孔54内。孔54最好略大,便利插入,以便在摇臂26与轴承34之间形成间隙配合。轴承34与轴承支承件28之间不需要压配合,因为设有其他装置来限制轴承支承件28相对于摇臂26轴向移动。
在摇臂26中制成一个长下孔56和一个长上孔58,以容纳支承螺栓30。如图2所示,孔56的宽度略大于支承螺栓30无螺纹部60的直径,与无螺纹部60的表面接合以限制轴承支承件28对于摇臂26的轴向移动。或者,支承螺栓30包括与孔58可接合的裙部62,用作定位装置,或者可利用支承螺栓30的无螺纹部60和裙部62两者的表面。
孔56与58为长形,为支承螺栓30提供间隙,使摇臂26可绕轴承支承件28的轴线摆动或转动。摇臂26的特殊构形决定于所采用的制造方法。图1至3表示适于铸造的形状。为便于用锻造、冲压及粉末金属成形而对构形所作的各种变化,对熟悉本领域者都可以想见。
摇臂26可有滚柱64,如图1及3所示,与气门杆20啮合,或有通常的滑动啮合。同图又示,支承螺栓30可以有板手面66,便于将支承螺栓30拧入发动机气缸盖16中。最好轴承支承件28中部52的上表面,有一凹座或平面68,用以安装裙部62,从而减小摇臂组装件的总高度,并便于将裙部62与上孔58对正。
图4表示本发明的第二实施方案,具有与第一方案的轴承支承件28相似的轴承支承件70。轴承支承件70的构形有修改便于用粉末金属成形来制造。基本垂直的孔72,端部74,中间部76和平面78,相当于第一方案中的第一孔32,端部38,中间部52和平面68。
如图5所示,端部74的构形的截面,包括其展开小于180°的弧形底部80,其平行的扁平侧部82和弧形顶部86。切削后角由斜面部88构成,平面部92从圆96向内延伸,表明端部74的理想耳轴构形。由于有切削后角故顶部弧86比底部弧80短。
斜面部88相对于孔72的轴线倾斜约45度,扁平侧部82平行于孔72的轴线。这样定向压在粉末金属成形模沿孔72的轴线方向移动时,可筒化制造轴承支承件70的切削。最好弧形底部及顶部80及86与圆96重合。侧部82在圆96上的角98上与底部80及平面部92相交。经过修改的轴承支承件70的中间部76,其构形与端部74相似,如图5所示,但可有平面部78,以代替弧形顶部86。
由于轴承支承件70有这种经修改的构形,可用有耐久轮廓的金属成形模。与之对比,则要求用有薄的接近刀刃轮廓的粉末金属成形模,以形成轴承支承件28的理想耳轴构形。轴承支承件70的构形,导致工具寿命延长,工具对中好并使完成部件金属的密度较均匀。长弧底部80与较短的弧形顶部86为内套筒42提供充份的支持。
从上文可以了解,本发明提出一种方便的子装件,它包括可经济地制造并方便地横向插入摇臂孔中的支承件及一些轴承。子装件不要求支承件经机加工和淬火,也不要求滚柱轴承昂贵地拉制成杯形带耳轴。子装件横向插入摇臂,可减免制造工序,并降低臂组装件的总成本。
Claims (7)
1.一种摇臂组装件,包括
用于安装在支承螺栓上的轴承支承件;
两个具有共同轴线、用轴承支承件支承并保持的环形轴承,轴承的圆柱形外周与支承螺栓垂直;
一个具有一水平孔的摇臂,并具有用以安装支承螺栓的孔;
摇臂上的保持装置,可与支承螺栓连接以限制摇臂与支承螺栓分离,并限制摇臂相对于轴承的轴向移动;其特征在于:
摇臂孔大到足以使轴承支承件能易于插入孔中,于是轴承与摇臂形成松配合,使摇臂可在轴承上围绕轴承支承件的轴线转动;轴承包括一个形成内滚道的内套筒,一个形成外滚道的外套筒,其间有若干滚柱;所述的轴承圆柱形外周包络轴承支承件。
2.如权利要求1所述之摇臂,其特征为保持装置包括邻近该与支承螺栓上的表面接合的摇臂孔的摇臂表面。
3.如权利要求1所述摇臂组装件,其特征为轴承支承件有与轴承接合的肩台,以限制轴承向支承螺栓移动。
4.如权利要求1所述之摇臂组装件,其特征为用压配合将内套筒保持在轴承支承件上。
5.如权利要求1所述之摇臂组装件,其特征为轴承支承件有其上装有轴承内套筒的非圆柱形表面。
6.如权利要求5所述之摇臂组装件,其特征为轴承支承件的非圆柱形表面,其横截面具有第一弧形部,其展开小于180度;一个同半径的较短的第二弧形部,与第一弧形部相对;个弧形部都与内套筒接合,该两弧形部由不与轴承接合的刃具后角分隔。
7.如权利要求1所述的摇臂组装件,
其特征在于所述两轴承包括:
两个有共同轴线的环形內套筒,刚性安装在轴承支承件上,每一个内套筒有一个径向外伸的第一突缘;
两个与内套筒同轴线沿径向外伸的环形外套筒,每一外套筒有径向内伸的第二突缘,该突缘可与轴承支承件接合以限制外套筒向第二孔移动,外套筒的垂直于第二孔的圆柱形外周,将支承件包络,所述圆柱形外周的直径小于第一孔;
在各内套筒与外套筒之间以及在第一与第二突缘之间的环形部中的若干滚柱,滚柱在套筒的轴线方面上受第一及第二突缘止挡。
