本发明提供一种新的防护涂料,特别适于涂抹在 熔铸有色金属及合金容器、工具的表面上,不使接触 金属液的器具被腐蚀,不使合金受污染产生缺陷,而 且制作简单,使用方便,价格低廉、致密性好,防护工 作可靠,易于清理,使得熔铸有色金属及合金的容器、 工具材料不再受限制。

Description

本发明涉及一种防护涂料,特别是在熔铸有色金属及合金中所接触的容器、工具表面需喷涂使用的无腐蚀污染的防护涂料。
熔铸有色金属及合金的容器与所使用的工具,需要耐高温,能承受金属熔液、熔渣、熔盐和各种气体的侵蚀,而且造价不应过高。易氧化合金性能活泼铝锂合金在熔融状态下,对绝大多数金属与非金属材料都有侵蚀作用,而且腐蚀产物又混入金属液造成合金缺陷。现有技术中“耐铝锂合金液腐蚀的耐火材料与粘合剂”(U.S.P    4581295,1986.4.8    Refractory    assembly    for    containent    of    molten    Al-Lialloys)是一种耐火砖与砌砖泥浆砌制整体式熔铸容器,以此防止侵蚀和污染,耐火砖是由80~95%的碳化硅、3~20%的氮化物结合剂制成;由50~85%的氮化物和15~50%的溶胶粘合剂组成砌砖泥浆,该项技术制作工序复杂,成本造价高,而且尚未解决其工具接触污染问题。
本发明的目的在于研制一种防护涂料,可喷涂于有色金属及合金熔铸器皿工具表面,使之既可有效地防止金属液对容器、工具的侵蚀,合金又不受到污染及产生缺陷。
本发明是这样实现的:由化学纯的氧化镁或活性氧化镁、水玻璃和水组成防护涂料,其主要成分中含有5~20%的氧化镁,5~15%的水玻璃,其余是水。防护涂料的方法:首先是把水玻璃倾入水中搅拌均匀,然后加入氧化镁再搅拌均匀便可使用。
本发明制作方法简单,工作稳定可靠,产品成本低廉,使用方便,只需在金属液接触的容器工具表面喷涂上很薄一层便可以起到保护作用了,防护涂料对容器工具特别是对铁质材料的器皿无腐蚀污染,隔离开金属液对器皿的污染侵蚀也提高了容器(坩锅之类)与工具的寿命。最主要的是合金液不受污染和产生合金缺陷问题,确保了合金质量。由下表中具有代表性实验数据足以证明。
而且粘附性好,不因温升急变而发生龟裂与剥落;流动性好,能均匀喷涂在容器工具表面,使器具、涂料、金属液各自保持本性,无腐蚀、污染或产生其他问题缺陷,另外防护涂料致密且易于清理。

Claims (2)

1、一种用于涂抹在接触有色金属及合金液容器、工具表面的防护涂料及其制作方法,其特征在于:它由化学纯的氧化镁或活性氧化镁、水玻璃及水组成,它的制作方法是把水玻璃倾入水中进行搅拌均匀,再加入氧化镁进行搅拌均匀。
2、根据权利要求1所述的防护涂料及其制作方法,其特征在于涂料中含有5~20%的氧化镁,5~15%的水玻璃,其余是水。
