Abstract

技术领域
本发明总体涉及用于改造印刷产品的装置。更具体地,本公开涉及用于生产个性化的包装的装置。
背景技术
在一种传统的生产个性化的包装的方法中,在片材介质上印刷字体和/或图像,然后从片材介质切割出两维的包装坯料,然后使该包装坯料形成三维的包装。个性化的包装市场需要从一张到几千张范围的生产量。由如Graphtec、Esko Artwork、Gerber等一些公司提供的很多低费用(1000-50000美元)折叠纸箱切割方案依赖于手动进给X Y切割台或XΘ切割机(如Graphtec Robo切割机),其中通过夹辊与安装在交叉处理方向滑杆上的切割刀片结合,使介质沿着处理方向往复运动。虽然这些切割机提供了低成本的切割方案,但它们需要专门的操作员来装载介质,启动切割机和卸载介质。对于只有2-3名员工的小印刷店,对这种专门的操作员的要求是障碍。虽然可以简单地添加进给器到现有的X Y或XΘ切割机上,但是预期这样的组合的产率会限制在每分钟1-2件。
传统的低端切割绘图机的设计非常类似于HP笔式绘图机,在宽体喷墨印刷出现之前HP笔式绘图仪用于产生2D CAD绘图。这种绘图机要求操作员执行从片材插入到片材移除的介质处理的重要部分。传统的切割绘图设备的另外一个问题是切割笔往往卡在片材上,并阻止片材脱离绘图机。
发明内容
个性化的包装生产系统可以包括切割台和切割/压痕组件,该切割/压痕组件包括模背衬辊和交叉处理切割头模块以及旋转模模块。交叉处理切割头模块与旋转模模块是能互换的,使得当该个性化的包装生产系统处于运行状态时,该交叉处理切割头模块或旋转模模块中的一个安装在切割/压痕组件中。

具体实施方式
参照附图,其中在整个这些图中相同的数字代表相似的部件,概括地由标号10、10″指代根据本公开的个性化的包装生产的系统。
个性化的包装生产系统10、10″包括布置在送入托盘14和送出托盘出16中间的切割台12。切割/压痕组件18被布置在切割台12上方,使得能切割和/或压痕(如下文所述)放置在切割台12上的介质片材20。放置在送入托盘14和切割台12之间的片材进给器从送入托盘14进给原始的介质片材20到切割台12,且放置在送出托盘16和切割台12之间的出口夹24从切割台12移送经处理的介质片材20″到送出托盘16。
参考图1、图2和图7,个性化的包装生产系统的第一实施方式10的切割/压痕组件18是交叉处理/交叉轴切割头模块26。实施方式10特别适于小批量运行(1-200件),或短的交货时间的作业。交叉处理切割头模块26具有相对慢的产率(1-2PPM),但消除了第二实施方式10″的旋转模模块28的购买的交货时间和成本。交叉处理切割头模块26包括安装在模背衬辊32上方的交叉处理切割头30。切割头模块26中的集成控制夹34啮合模背衬辊32。
顶部介质片材20通过送入托盘推进辊35从送入托盘14获取,送入托盘推进辊35将顶部片材推入进给夹36,并进入片材进给器接取辊(TAR)夹38,TAR夹38拉动该介质片材20离开送入托盘14的进给夹36,到达转向门40下方并进入控制夹34。控制夹34在切割头30下方移动介质片材20,以允许安装在切割台12上的传感器42定位片材20的前缘72和后缘48。一旦片材20的位置确定在切割台12上,使用印刷在介质片材20上的配准标记(未示出)确定片材在切割台12上的方向。由控制器44控制推进辊35、进给夹36、TAR夹22、出口夹24、切割/压痕组件18和转向器40的操作,控制器44从配准传感器42、位于切割/压痕组件18内的编码器和安装在模背衬辊32上的编码器接收信号。一旦控制软件46通过印刷在介质片材20上的配准标记确定了介质片材20的位置和方向,控制夹34配合切割头Y轴54上的运动沿X轴52平移介质片材20以对包装坯料60进行切割和压痕。
介质片材20上的配准标记和切割头30中的配准传感器43测量切割台12上的片材失去配准并调节切割机模板以补偿失去配准的介质片材20。然后,切割头30对介质片材20进行切割56和刻痕58,在图6的围绕包装坯件60的周长的关键位置留下半穿痕迹,使得它仍然连接到介质片材废料62。在切割及压痕操作期间出口夹24保持打开,使得它不会干扰控制夹34沿X轴平移介质片材20。转向门40由控制器44驱动以引导介质片材20的后缘48到位于片材进给装置22的上方或下方的介质反向托盘66。
对包装坯60切割和刻痕后,控制器44啮合下游出口夹24,下游出口夹24将介质片材20从切割台12拉出,并将其放置到送出托盘16。操作员手动分离介质片材废料62与切得的包装坯料60。
参考图3和图4,个性化的包装生产系统的第二实施方式10″的切割/压痕组件18的交叉处理切割头模块26被旋转模模块28替代。实施方式10″特别适于较高批量的生产运行(200-5000件)。旋转模模块28实现了更快的产率(30-50PPM),但对于每个作业需要定制模板68。12英寸直径的滚筒70将处理长达36英寸长的介质片材20。在该实施方式10″中,不使用介质反向托盘和转向门。它们可以留在原地或移除,以便更好地进入文件路径。
推进辊35推动顶部介质片材进入进给夹36,进给夹36从送入托盘14获取顶部介质片材20,并且将其进给到TAR夹38,TAR夹38向前推介质片材20,直至前缘72接触旋转模模块28上的配准边缘74且拉扣介质片材20。传感器42位于切割台12中,且控制器软件46控制旋转模模块28和TAR夹38之间的计时以调节介质的拉扣和配准。对于被切割和压痕的每个对象,旋转模模块28都需要定制模板68。模板花费200-300美元,并需要15-30分钟来设置。
应当理解的是,因为切割/压痕模块26、28都利用相同的介质进给、配准、输送和退出托盘的特征,所以第一实施方式10的交叉处理/交叉轴切割头模块26和旋转模模块28是能互换的。本文的“能互换”定义为意指交叉处理/交叉轴切割头模块26或旋转模模块28可从系统10、10″中去除,并分别由旋转模模块28或交叉处理/交叉轴切割头模块26替代,而不以其他方式修改系统10、10″。因此,主题系统10、10″使得用于小批量的低成本多样切割能力(XΘ)和用于重复工作或大于100-200件的批量能够旋转模切割都能够使用。
传统的交叉处理/交叉轴切割头设备的一个问题在于随着介质落入出口托盘,后边缘翻转向上并卡在切割笔上,从而阻止片材脱离绘图机。在主题的个性化的包装生产系统10的第一实施方式的变化方式中,交叉处理/交叉轴切割模块26包括刀片护套80,当刀片82还未展开用于切割时,刀片护套80防止刀片82和介质片材20之间的接触。当刀片82还未展开用于切割时,防止刀片82和介质片材20之间的接触提供了两方面的好处:1)刀片82不能干扰介质片材20的排出;和2)如果介质片材20被强制地从切割台12通过出口夹24移除,刀片82可以不卡在介质片材20上并且不会断裂。
在图6所示的例子中,刀片护罩80具有围绕切割头30/刀片82的环的形状。当延展刀片82以切割/压痕介质板材20时,刀片82通过由环形成的内开口84延展。当刀片82被缩回时,刀片护罩80定位在介质片材20和切割头30/刀片82之间。刀片护罩开口84的内径大于切割头30的外径,以确保刀片82和刀片护罩80之间不存在接触。
应当理解的是,如果送出托盘16放置于切割台12的表面下方,交叉处理/交叉轴切割头模块26和旋转模模块28位于充分靠近切割台12的送出端88处,和/或切割台12的送出端部分88朝着送出托盘16倾斜向下,那么介质片材20的前端部分的重量结合通过控制夹34所提供的前进速度可足以从切割台12排出介质片材20。在这些情况下,使用刀片护罩80可以消除从切割台12移除介质片材20对出口夹24的需求。
Claims (4)
1.一种个性化的包装生产系统,其包括:
切割台;
切割/压痕组件,其包括
模背衬辊,以及
交叉处理的切割头模块和旋转模模块,所述交叉处理的切割头模块与所述旋转模模块能互换,由此,当所述个性化的包装生产系统处于运行状态时所述交叉处理的切割头模块或所述旋转模模块中的一个安装在所述切割/压痕组件中,
其中所述交叉处理的切割头模块具有
交叉处理的切割头或刀片;以及
限定开口的刀片护套,所述刀片或切割头能延展通过所述刀片护套的开口来对介质片材切割或压痕。
2.如权利要求1所述的个性化的包装生产系统,其进一步包括:
送入托盘;以及
送出托盘;
其中,所述切割台设置在所述送入托盘和所述送出托盘中间。
3.如权利要求2所述的个性化的包装生产系统,其进一步包括:
片材进给器,其布置在所述送入托盘和所述切割台之间,适于从所述送入托盘进给介质片材到所述切割台;以及
出口夹,其布置在所述送出托盘和所述切割台之间,适于从所述切割台将介质片材移送到所述送出托盘。
4.如权利要求3所述的个性化的包装生产系统,其进一步包括:
进给夹;以及
推进辊;
其中,所述推进辊适于推动布置在所述送入托盘中的介质片材到所述进给夹中,且所述进给夹适于进给所述介质片材到所述片材进给器中。
