背景技术

发明内容
根据本发明的一种测量地层性质的方法,所述方法包括:收集已经从地层经由流体流传送的纳米传感器;测量纳米传感器状态,所述纳米传感器状态表示所述收集前且在所述纳米传感器被分散在地层的井下流体的同时由所述纳米传感器所记录的光谱性质;以及报告从所述光谱性质中得到的地层数据。
根据本发明的一种测量地层性质的系统,所述系统包括:载液,把纳米传感器传送到井眼中以在所述纳米传感器接触并穿透地层的同时记录光谱性质,其中至少一些纳米传感器包括感光材料,以及其中至少一些纳米传感器包括发光材料。

具体实施方式

在钻头114附近的底部钻具组合中组合了一个或多个测井工具126。合适的测井工具包括地层流体采样工具、声波测井工具、电磁波电阻率工具、以及核磁共振工具等。边钻井边测井的工具通常采取钻铤的形式,即,提供重量和硬度来辅助钻井过程的一种厚壁管。当钻头使井眼延伸而通过地层时,测井工具收集地层特性的测量值。在底部钻具组合中还可以包括其它工具和传感器来收集各种钻井参数的测量值,诸如位置、方向、钻头上的重量、井眼直径等。控制/遥测模块128从各种底部钻具组合仪收集数据(包括位置和方向信息),并且把这些信息存储在内部存储器中。例如,通过泥浆脉冲遥测可以把数据的选中部分传送到地面接收机130。还存在并且可以使用其它边钻井边测井的遥测方法。例如,可以使用具有任选的中继器132的电磁遥测或穿墙声波遥测来扩展遥测范围。作为另一个例子,可以从有线钻杆来形成钻柱108,使波形或图像以实时发送到地面,以便启动质量控制和处理而使测井分辨率最优化。大多数遥测系统还可以从地面把命令传送到控制和遥测模块以配置工具的操作。
如图2所示,可以在钻井过程中各个时段从井眼移除钻柱108。一旦已经移除了钻柱,就可以使用电缆测井工具134(即,通过电缆142悬挂的感测仪探头)来进行测井操作,该电缆具有把功率传送到工具和进行从工具到地面的遥测的导体。电缆测井工具134可以具有垫板136和/或集中弹簧,以在把工具拉到井口时维持工具使之接近井眼轴。如下进一步说明,工具134可以包括地层流体采样、声波测井、电磁波电阻率和/或NMR测井仪。测井设施144收集来自测井工具134的测量值,并且包括计算机系统,用于处理和存储测井工具收集的测量值。

把薄膜和基板材料研碎成细粉末。显而易见地,期望某些变化,并且恐怕希望在最后的纳米传感器中有这些变化。例如,粒子大小将会在某个范围(例如,10nm到1000nm)上变化,以及粒子的形状,相对取向和发光和感光材料的量以及发生电子轰击的温度和能量。可以通过MonteCarlo模拟使各种制造参数最优化,以得到所要求的纳米传感器特性分布。
虽然在上述讨论中假设为每个纳米粒子配备了发光材料和感光材料两者,但是并非严格地要求为每个纳米传感器都配备两种材料。某些设想的系统实施例使这两种功能分开,以致一些部分的纳米粒子配备了发光材料,而其余的配备了感光材料。
图6是具有多个纳米粒子类型602的示意性光谱纳米传感器系统的表示图。各种类型602的结构可以变化。期望每个类型具有下列一个或多个可自定义的特征:表面亲和力、触发、光源、功率源以及记录仪,下面讨论其每一个。除了各种类型的纳米粒子之外,系统还包括样品作用机构、播放器和分析仪。
自定义表面亲和力是一个任选的特性,这个特性使纳米粒子增加了与井下环境中给定目标相互作用的趋势。尤其,可以使纳米粒子所具有的大小、形状和表面化学性质能够增强纳米粒子与诸如例如,水相、烃相或化学分析物之类的选中目标相互作用的能力。作为一个特定的例子,可以在表面上提供亲水性或疏水性的涂层以在要求的相中增加其可溶性,从而在触发时使纳米粒子增加与选中目标接触的机会。
自定义触发可以是纳米粒子类型的一个分立的部件,或可以是光源如何通电的一个固有部分。触发管理了纳米传感器收集它们的测量值的时间。这以外部施加的电磁脉冲的形式而给出。另一方面,触发可以是时间释放膜。再另一方面,触发是一个环境条件,诸如例如,pH、eH、分析物浓度(或某些其它化学物质的存在)、温度阀值、压力阀值、振动、扰动、磁场或诸如能代表缩放开始的那些条件的一些目标组合。在大多数情况中,期望触发能导致光源发光,但是也可以设想触发能启动感光材料的曝光。
如上所述,设想光源是一种发光材料。可以为不同纳米粒子配备不同的发光材料。例如,这种变化可以增加捕获光谱测量值的波长的范围。另一方面或另外,多种发光材料可以提供不同的触发时间或条件,从而提供了一个潜在的机构,该机构用于确定光谱测量值相对于时间、位置或某些其它变量的变化。
功率源是纳米粒子的任选部分,并且可以采取反应而产生光的化学混合物的形式。也可以采取把所发送的电磁能量转换成供发光二极管用的功率的谐振天线形式,或是采取通过热或环境离子施加能量而产生电的相异材料之间的连接点的形式。甚至设想可以使用少量的放射性材料来诱发磷光分子发光。然而,在大多数情况中,期望电磁或声波场直接作用在发光材料上而发光。
如上所述,记录仪可以是暴露于光时改变状态的感光材料。感光材料可以是宽带的(诸如卤化银)或波长可选择的。对于要执行的后续光谱分析,期望光源和感光材料每一个或两者的波长带宽都相当狭窄。某些光谱纳米传感器类型具有宽带源和宽带灵敏度两者,这有助于校正通过特定波长纳米传感器类型捕获的光谱测量值。在至少某些实施例中,暴露的纳米传感器把高度可识别的和唯一的示踪物释放到周围的流体中,导致该流体的流成为把测量值传递到下游传感器的遥测介质。
系统使用的样品作用机构是这样的机构,即该机构使纳米传感器系统能访问井下环境的要求部分。在与图3中修改的流体采样工具相似的一种方式中,可以设计该机构以使地层中目标部分暴露。另一方面,可以通过载液在整个井下流通路径中传送纳米传感器。在广泛地扩散传感器的某些实施例中,可以使用电缆或LWD工具来激活要求区域内的纳米传感器,并且捕获流体或核心样品中的至少某些纳米传感器。
系统的播放器机构获取来自已经曝光的纳米传感器的相关的状态信息。在某些实施例中,纳米传感器把示踪化学物释放到它们周围的流体中,而播放器执行化学分析以检测这些示踪物的相对浓度。在其它实施例中,再捕获、从流体中分离以及处理纳米传感器本身,以获取它们的状态信息。在上述金刚石纳米晶体的情况中,可以以下述操作顺序的形式来进行分析。流体样品在离心作用下从夹带的固体中分离出大部分液体。用油溶性物质(例如,甲苯)反复清洗污泥,并且再进行离心操作直到只剩下无机固体残留物。用HCL处理和接着的HF处理(虽然次序可以相反,但是期望的次序是先HCL,后HF)从纳米传感器中除去其它无机残留物。此时,期望只保留了纳米传感器。用常规的粒子大小分布方法来分析它们的大小分布,并且通过电子自旋共振(ESR)或光学方法来探测它们的感光材料的状态,这可能要求在光学检查之前使用化学物来显现和固定感光材料的状态。直到已经执行了这个探测,就应该使纳米传感器与任何外界光隔离,以避免降低它们的测量值。然而,之后,可以再触发纳米传感器来分析它们的发光强度和光谱。使这个信息与来自探测操作的信息组合而重建纳米传感器观察到的远场光谱。可以通过光谱和成分来分析恢复流体中的分立的样品,并且对结果进行比较以解译新生储层流体和岩石的状态。
图7是使用光谱纳米传感器的示意性测井方法的流程图。当操作者得到选中的纳米传感器时,就从方框702开始。如上所述,可以构建各种大小和形状的纳米传感器,并且配备有各种发光材料和感光材料。在方框704中,操作者可以提供进一步的自定义,例如,通过按选中的大小对纳米传感器进一步分类,提供表面涂敷、和/或形成不同纳米传感器类型(设计这些纳米传感器类型以得到要求的光谱测量值)的混合物。操作者使选中的纳米传感器悬浮在载液中。
在方框706中,操作者把有纳米传感器的载液注入地层或使载液通过井眼流通以分散纳米传感器。甚至可以在从注入井流到生产井的洪水液中夹带纳米传感器。在方框708中,触发纳米传感器以捕获它们的光谱测量值。如上所述,存在多种可用的触发机构,可以使用这些触发机构来精选纳米传感器捕获的这些测量值。在任选的方框710中,可以重复触发操作以导致纳米传感器捕获另外的测量值,这些另外的测量值可在晚些时候重建它们的路径或历史。声波、EM或压力脉冲可以提供预定时间间隔的参考时间标志。单独或与基于时间的测井机构组合在一起(可能在基板中使用扩散过程以使信息嵌入晶体生长中或可能使用可时间分辨的电化学沉积过程),这些脉冲使捕获信息的读出方式与从南极冰芯中读出CO2浓度的方式相似,即,一层一层地读出。某些系统实施例包括追踪地层中纳米传感器位置(或甚至它们的路径)的机构。例如,操作者可以使用聚焦的、可操纵的声波或EM束,仅触发相对于井眼的某些位置处或选中距离处的粒子。当这种空间触发与基于时间的测井组合时,可以辨别纳米传感器路径信息。
在方框712中,操作者收集纳米传感器,并且获取它们的状态信息。在方框714中,操作者分析获取的信息以重建通过纳米传感器观察到的光谱。操作者可以从这些光谱推断关于储层流体和岩石的信息,这作为报告显示在方框716中。
现在描述特定测井例子。在电缆地层测试仪例子中,工具用探头来接触井眼壁。执行初始的地层泵出来清洁近井污染,包括至少来自探头垫的泥饼。可能希望继续泵出直到已经清除了大多数近井钻井液滤液污染。然后使泵反向,把包含光谱纳米传感器的载液注入地层。使已经设计成与要求的样品相混溶的载液随着时间的推移而与地层流体混合,或通过流体流的振动方向迫使其混合。可以用工具中的传感器使混合程度模型化或进行监视。一旦完成了混合,就触发纳米传感器。一种可能的触发方法是从外部功率源提供功率。外部触发和供电的一个方便的方法是来自NMR工具的电磁脉冲,该电磁脉冲激活了金刚石纳米晶体中的氮空位晶体缺陷,并且导致该缺陷发出荧光。另一个方法是声波脉冲,把该声波脉冲设计成能破坏隔开两种化学物质的封装膜。当化学物质混合时,它们进行光致反应。另一种可能的触发方法是外部定时器的时间消逝。例如,可以把两个化学物质之间的封装膜设计成随时间而变差(例如,经常在时间缓释胶囊中使用如此的膜)。再另一种变型,用光-声致发光材料填充传感器,使声波的作用如同触发和功率源两者。
从纳米传感器的光源发射的光与纳米传感器周围的材料作用。这些材料散射、反射或再发射光使之返回纳米传感器中的感光材料。泵从地层中抽回流体和夹带的纳米传感器,并且捕获至少一个样品。所捕获的样品主要包含地层流体。在对地层流体采样和使捕获的纳米传感器的能效最大化方面,工具可以使用最优化过程使样品的效用最大化。最优化过程可以使用工具传感器来监视流体和/或纳米传感器浓度的性质。某些工具实施例收集井下纳米传感器信息,而其它的工具实施例把捕获的流体和纳米传感器传送到地面以便进行分析。
在一个水库防洪预报例子中,用时间释放触发来制造纳米传感器。触发可以是在传送到井现场前不久结合到纳米传感器中的会变差的膜。纳米传感器悬浮在设计成与目标样品相混溶的载液相中。用洪水液注入载液(洪水液可以是液体或气体)。当洪水通过地层传播时,纳米传感器扩散到目标相。对于光源(或热或电)来说,时间延迟触发变差,导致化学反应而通过功率那样的作用直接或间接地提供光。光与分析物作用,并且通过感光材料记录。纳米传感器与洪水一起行进到生产井,并且进行生产。在地面,恢复和分析纳米传感器。
钻井液中可以包括光谱纳米传感器。这种应用是潜在地有利的,因为在整个井中和井的整个生产寿命期间(如果是非常坚固的话),纳米传感器是普遍地存在的。如果光释放步骤对于压力或温度是敏感的,则一旦到位和受到触发时,传感器的记录就变成沿井眼的传感器确切位置的指示。如果在后续时间中水泥破裂,则传感器的恢复可以显示裂口的确切位置。在这个例子的一个变型中,使纳米传感器作为钻井液的一部分而流通,它们入侵附近的地层作为泥浆滤液的一部分。当水泥把壳体固定到位时,在水泥浆中包括了触发化学物质。当水泥完整时,没有流体从地层流到井眼中。如果发生水泥失效,则从地层流到井眼的任何流体都会通过水泥中的孔、孔隙或裂缝传送纳米传感器。当纳米传感器通过水泥时,触发化学物质激活它们以捕获关于变差水泥的光谱信息。地面的监视器检测纳米传感器,并且获取光谱信息以辅助诊断故障的原因和位置。(可以包括某些对温度和压力敏感的纳米传感器来提供位置信息)。
对于本技术领域中技术人员来说,一旦充分理解了上述揭示,许多变型和修改都是显而易见的了。例如,某些储层采样工具通过直接把(例如)稳定的H2S反应沉淀物注入流线并且在晚些时候对沉淀物进行探测,就能够当场产生纳米传感器。旨在把下述权利要求书解释为包含所有如此的变型和修改。
Claims (20)
1.一种测量地层性质的方法,所述方法包括:
收集已经从地层经由流体流传送的纳米传感器;
测量纳米传感器状态,所述纳米传感器状态表示所述收集前且在所述纳米传感器被分散在地层的井下流体的同时由所述纳米传感器所记录的光谱性质;以及
报告从所述光谱性质中得到的地层数据。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括:
在所述收集之前把所述纳米传感器引入到所述地层中。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,还包括:
当在所述地层中时使纳米传感器发射光,其中所述光与所述纳米传感器周围的环境相互作用,并且响应性地引起纳米传感器的状态变化。
4.如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述使纳米传感器发射光包括:从与地层相近的井眼中的工具中发出电磁信号或声波信号。
5.如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述使纳米传感器发射光包括:提供时间释放膜,所述时间释放膜允许在预定延迟之后发生光致发光反应。
6.如权利要求3所述的方法,其特征在于,所述状态变化发生在感光分子中。
7.如权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,所述感光分子通过发色团而具有窄带灵敏度。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述测量包括:使用过滤器或离心机从流体中分离出纳米传感器。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述测量还包括:用电子自旋共振来探测纳米传感器中的感光材料。
10.如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述测量还包括:光学地检查纳米传感器中的感光材料。
11.如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述报告包括:测量纳米传感器的发光,并且至少根据测量到的发光和测量到的纳米传感器状态而得到地层光谱。
12.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述引入包括:使纳米传感器在井眼流体中流通。
13.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,所述引入包括:使纳米传感器悬浮在洪水液中。

17.一种测量地层性质的系统,所述系统包括:
载液,把纳米传感器传送到井眼中以在所述纳米传感器接触并穿透地层的同时记录光谱性质,
其中至少一些纳米传感器包括感光材料,以及
其中至少一些纳米传感器包括发光材料。
18.如权利要求17所述的系统,其特征在于,通过时间延迟或外部信号可触发所述发光材料。
19.如权利要求18所述的系统,其特征在于,所述发光材料包括具有氮空位的金刚石,所述氮空位响应于电磁信号脉冲而发荧光。
20.如权利要求17所述的系统,其特征在于,对至少一些纳米传感器进行涂敷,以提供用于与地层中的目标材料相互作用的表面亲和力。
