Abstract
本发明提供至少具备两种气囊且不必调整充气机的气体量等,并且能够减少开发工序及制造成本的车辆用乘客保护装置。车辆用乘客保护装置具备帘式气囊装置和侧面气囊装置,上述帘式气囊装置具有帘式气囊,并且安装在上述车辆的车身上部结构上,上述侧面气囊装置具有位于比腰部线靠下方地容纳的侧面气囊,并且内置在上述车辆的座位内,上述车辆具有从上述车身的上述上部结构封闭到腰部线的侧面窗口玻璃,上述帘式气囊在向上述车辆的侧面碰撞时向下方展开,在上述侧面碰撞时展开的上述侧面气囊插入上述帘式气囊和上述侧面窗口玻璃之间的间隙。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及在车辆侧面碰撞时用于保护乘客的头部的车辆用乘客保护装置。
背景技术
作为相对于侧面碰撞的乘客保护装置,已知有配置在车顶侧面轨上的帘式气囊和配置在座位靠背的门侧的侧部的侧面气囊。在侧面碰撞时,帘式气囊及侧面气囊分别利用从充气机喷出的气体膨胀。下述专利文献1公开了向下方展开的帘式气囊的下端和展开的侧面气囊的上面以面紧固件(hook and loopfastener)连接的乘客保护装置。

在上述专利文献1所公开的乘客保护装置中,由于双方的气囊在展开中或展开后利用面紧固件活动地连接,因此存在导致调整充气机的气体量等开发工序及制造成本的增加的场合。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供具备至少两种气囊且不需要调整充气机的气体量等,并能够减少开发工序及制造成本的车辆用乘客保护装置。
本发明的特征在于,提供车辆用乘客保护装置,其具备帘式气囊装置和侧面气囊装置,上述帘式气囊装置具有帘式气囊,并且,安装在上述车辆的车身上部结构上,上述侧面气囊装置具有位于比上述腰部线靠下方地容纳的侧面气囊,并且内置在上述车辆的座位内,上述车辆具有从上述车身的上述上部结构封闭到腰部线的侧面窗口玻璃,上述帘式气囊在向上述车辆的侧面碰撞时向下方展开,在上述侧面碰撞时展开的上述侧面气囊插入上述帘式气囊和上述侧面窗口玻璃之间的间隙。
本发明的效果如下。
根据上述特征,在向车辆的侧面碰撞时(气囊展开(膨胀)时),帘式气囊和侧面气囊在比腰部线靠上方处重合,并且侧面气囊插入向下方展开的帘式气囊和前侧面窗口玻璃之间的间隙,因此即使安装了至少两种气囊,也能够减少调整产生使各气囊膨胀的气体的充气机的气体量等的开发工序及制造成本。

具体实施方式
下面,参照图1及图2说明本发明的乘客保护装置的实施方式。乘客保护装置具备后述的帘式气囊装置100及侧面气囊装置200。图1及图2表示帘式气囊装置100的帘式气囊1和侧面气囊装置200的侧面气囊2展开的状态。
如图1所示,具备本实施方式的乘客保护装置的车辆A具备配置在车室的最前侧的A支柱(前支柱、1st支柱)6、配置在车室的大致中央的B支柱(中心支柱、2nd支柱)4和配置在车室的最后侧的C支柱(后支柱、3rd支柱)15。另外,车辆A具备结合这些支柱6、4、15的上端的、在前后延伸设置的侧面车顶轨(车身上部结构)9。另外,图1只表示车辆A的右侧,左侧也对称地具有相同的结构。
另外,车辆A具备连接左右的侧面车顶轨9的后端的后车顶轨(未图示)、连接左右的侧面车顶轨9的前端的前车顶轨(未图示)、被这些车顶轨包围的车顶面板12(参照图2)、前侧面窗口玻璃8以及前侧面门5。前侧面窗口玻璃8的下端线、即前侧面门5(除了窗框(sash frame))的上端线是腰部线(腰带线)14。
在前侧面门5的后方设有后门(没有符号),在后门上设有后侧面窗口玻璃16。若将前侧面窗口玻璃8上升到其上端边缘与前侧面门5的窗扇(未图示)的顶部密合,则能够防止雨或风的侵入。如图2所示,在车顶面板12的车室侧安装有车顶内衬(roof lining)13。
沿侧面车顶轨9安装有帘式气囊装置100。帘式气囊装置100的帘式气囊1折叠(folded)地容纳(stowed)在帘式气囊装置100的模块内。帘式气囊装置100被车顶内衬13(或车顶轨(roof rail garnish molding))覆盖并隐藏。帘式气囊装置100还具备产生使帘式气囊1膨胀的气体的充气机7。帘式气囊1在其后端具有气体导入部7a,通过气体导入部7a与充气机7连接。
在向车辆A的侧面碰撞时,空气从充气机7通过气体导入部7a供给到帘式气囊1的内部,帘式气囊1从容纳状态膨胀,如图1及图2所示,突破车顶内衬13而向下方展开。展开的帘式气囊1通过支撑部件11悬挂在侧面车顶轨9上。此时,帘式气囊1的下端1a位于比座位3的通常倾斜状态(in an ordinarilyreclined state)的座位靠背3a的最上部3aa(参照图2)靠上方。另外,座位3具备座位靠背3a、坐垫3b及枕头。
帘式气囊1以覆盖前侧面窗口玻璃8及后侧面窗口玻璃16的方式向下方展开。另外,帘式气囊1为了减少内部容量而更快速地向下方展开,局部切掉了覆盖后侧面窗口玻璃16的部分,只有后座乘客的侧方膨胀。
沿座位靠背3a的门侧的侧部内置有侧面气囊装置200。侧面气囊装置200的侧面气囊2折叠地位于比腰部线14靠下方,容纳在侧面气囊装置200的模块内。侧面气囊装置200被座位靠背3a的表面覆盖而隐藏。侧面气囊装置200还具备产生使侧面气囊2膨胀的气体的充气机10。
在向车辆A的侧面碰撞时,空气从充气机10供给到侧面气囊2的内部,侧面气囊2从容纳状态膨胀,如图1及图2所示,突破座位靠背3a的表面而向侧方展开。展开的侧面气囊2的上端2a插入帘式气囊1和前侧面窗口玻璃8之间的间隙17。另外,展开的侧面气囊2的下端2b到达坐垫3b的侧方。
如上所述,在侧面碰撞时(气囊展开(膨胀))时,帘式气囊1和侧面气囊2在比腰部线14靠上方处重合(lap),并且侧面气囊2插入向下方展开的帘式气囊1和前侧面窗口玻璃8之间的间隙17,因此即使安装至少两种气囊1及2,也能够减少调整双方的充气机7及10的气体量等的开发工序及制造成本。
在上述专利文献1所公开的乘客保护装置中,利用面紧扣件连接帘式气囊和侧面气囊。在此,为了利用面紧扣件连接,需要向面紧扣件推压的力,需要使面紧扣件与时间、场所一致。因此,需要细微地调整帘式气囊及侧面气囊的内部压力,需要双方的充气机的气体量的细微的调整。如果这样,导致开发工序及制造成本增加。根据本实施方式的乘客保护装置,由于不需要物理性地连接帘式气囊1及侧面气囊2,因此能够减少开发工序及制造成本。
另外,展开的帘式气囊1的下端1a位于比通常倾斜状态的座位靠背3a的最上部3aa靠上方,因此在帘式气囊1和前侧面窗口玻璃8之间稳定地形成间隙17,因此侧面气囊2能可靠地插入间隙17。
在上述实施方式中,容纳在模块内的展开前的帘式气囊1被侧面车顶轨9支撑。但是,帘式气囊1除了侧面车顶轨9之外,还可以被车顶面板12、支柱6~15或(前及后)侧面门5支撑。
另外,在上述实施方式中,侧面气囊2的充气机10位于比腰部线14靠下方地配置在座位靠背3a内。但是,充气机10也可以内置在坐垫3b内。
另外,在上述实施方式中,车辆A的身体形式是4门轿车,但也可以是两门轿车或两用轿车等其他身体形式,在该场合,容纳状态的侧面气囊也位于比腰部线靠下方地容纳。
Claims (2)
1.一种车辆用乘客保护装置,其具备帘式气囊装置和侧面气囊装置,该车辆用乘客保护装置的特征在于,
上述帘式气囊装置具有帘式气囊,并且安装在上述车辆的车身上部结构上,
上述侧面气囊装置具有位于比腰部线靠下方地容纳的侧面气囊,并且内置在上述车辆的座位内,
上述车辆具有从上述车身的上述上部结构封闭到腰部线的侧面窗口玻璃,
上述帘式气囊在向上述车辆的侧面碰撞时向下方展开,
在上述侧面碰撞时展开的上述侧面气囊插入上述帘式气囊和上述侧面窗口玻璃之间的间隙。
2.根据权利要求1所述的乘客保护装置,其特征在于,
上述帘式气囊具有在展开时其下端位于比上述腰部线靠上方的大小,
上述侧面气囊具有在展开时其上端位于比上述腰部线靠上方的大小。
