Abstract

Description
本发明提供具有无粘合层的多层结构柔性管。为简单起见和根据英语用法,其在下文中被称作无粘合柔性管。这种管以高阻力阻碍气体从传送的流体中扩散出来并因此可特别有利地用于传送原油、天然气、甲醇、CO2等。
无粘合柔性管本身是现有技术。这种管含有作为屏障防止传送的流体逸出的通常为塑料管形式的内衬,以及在这种内衬外的一个或多个增强层。该无粘合柔性管可含有附加层,例如在内衬的内侧的一个或多个增强层以防止内衬在高的外部压力下崩塌。这种内部增强通常被称作帘布层。此外,可以包含外部套管以提供屏障防止液体从外部环境渗入到增强层或其它位于内部的聚合物功能层或金属功能层中。
例如在WO 01/61232、US 6
123 114和US 6 085 799中描述了典型的无粘合柔性管;此外,它们在API Recommended Practice 17B,
"Recommended Practice for Flexible Pipe", 第3版, 2002年3月中以及在API
Specification 17J, "Specification for Unbonded Flexible Pipe ", 第2版, 1999年11月中被详细表征。
表述“无粘合”在本文中是指至少两个层,包括增强层和塑料层,没有构造性相互连接。在实践中,该管道包含沿管道长度既不直接也不间接(即通过其它层)相互连接的至少两个增强层。以这样的方式管道变得可弯曲并足够柔韧以用于运输。
这种无粘合柔性管以各种设计在海上用途和各种陆上用途中用于输送液体、气体和浆料。例如可以将它们用于输送在沿管道(例如以从海底延伸至位于或接近于海面的装置的上升管形式)长度存在极高或极不同的水压的那里的流体,以及通常用作在不同装置之间输送液体或气体的管道、用作以极大深度铺设在海底的管道或用作在接近海面的装置之间的管道。
在常规柔性管中,一层或多层增强层大多由螺旋状布置的钢丝、钢型材或钢带构成,其中各层可以相对于管轴以不同的缠绕角度来形成。另外还有这样的实施方式,在其中至少一个增强层或所有增强层由通常嵌入聚合基质中的纤维,例如由玻璃纤维(例如以纤维束或纤维织物形式)构成。
在现有技术中,内衬通常由聚烯烃如聚乙烯(也可以将其交联)、由聚酰胺如PA11或PA12、或由聚偏二氟乙烯(PVDF)构成。
聚乙烯具有在与原油或天然气接触时显著溶胀并随后蠕变的缺点。此外,传送的非极性介质通过聚乙烯壁向外强烈渗出。因此,聚乙烯通常不用于直接接触产品流的管道,而是主要用于注水管。
聚酰胺,如PA11或PA12由于它们极好的机械性质、优异的耐烃性和仅仅小的溶胀而非常好地适合作为内衬的材料。在出版物OTC 5231
"Improved Thermoplastic Materials for Offshore Flexible Pipes"中已详细描述聚酰胺的特别适用性。但是,它们仅能在最多大约70℃下使用,因为在更高的温度下由于包含在原油或天然气中的工艺水出现越来越多的水解。由于这种水解令聚酰胺的分子量如此强烈地减小,使得机械性质显著变差且最终管道破坏。在API
17TR2 中描述了用于PA11的测定水解性能的详细检验程序并可同样用于PA12。
PVDF在最多130℃下使用。然而在130℃以上的温度下,在内部压力下降时,则被预计会起泡和微发泡。PVDF尤其在超临界CO2中强烈溶胀至大约25%,;在压降时出现的起泡由良好的渗透屏障(这等同于差的扩散)造成。在这种情况下,在该层内发生局部气体解吸,其中超过了该材料的内聚强度。
总之,在温度不过高时,聚酰胺,尤其是PA11和PA12已被普遍接受为用于内衬的材料;例如在US 2003/220449 A1中描述了一种合适的组合物。但是,聚酰胺的水解倾向和由此造成的在相对较高运行温度下短使用寿命在此是不利的。希望提供具有聚酰胺的有利性质但聚酰胺的水解显著减少,这样明显延长无粘合柔性管的使用寿命的例如管道形式的内衬。
在US 6,455,118中描述了一种具有双层内衬的无粘合柔性管,其中与流体直接接触的内层可以是聚烯烃或含氟聚合物,而外层可以是PA11或PA12。但是,这种层布置没有令人满意地解决水解问题:内部含氟聚合物层不是足够良好的防水屏障;尤其在升高的运行温度下,仍发生显著的聚酰胺水解。内部聚烯烃层虽然可能适合解决水解问题,但聚烯烃在与非极性介质如原油接触时如此强地溶胀以致不再确保该层在相对较高温度下的完备性。
通过内衬的至少三层设计已令人惊讶地解决了水解聚酰胺降解问题,其中层布置为聚酰胺/聚烯烃/含氟聚合物。
因此,本发明提供具有包含下列层布置的内衬的无粘合柔性管:
a) 含氟聚合物模塑料的最内层,
b) 基于选自聚乙烯、全同立构聚丙烯、间同立构聚丙烯和间同立构聚苯乙烯的烯烃聚合物的模塑料的中间层,
c) 聚酰胺模塑料的外层。
在一个可能的实施方式中,层a)、b)和c)彼此紧随。在这种情况下,可以将烯烃聚合物用极性基团,例如酸酐基团官能化以实现与相邻层的粘附。在另一些可能的实施方式中,在根据a)和b)的层之间和/或在根据b)和c)的层之间存在增粘剂层。合适的增粘剂是本领域技术人员已知的;例如用马来酸酐-接枝的聚烯烃、乙烯-甲基丙烯酸甲酯-马来酸酐三元共聚物或含聚乙烯亚胺的接枝共聚物适合作为增粘剂。一定的初始粘附使无粘合柔性管的组装变得容易;但是,对运行而言,层的粘附不是绝对必须的。如果在运行过程中气体应收集在无粘合层之间,可将它们借助于合适的构造措施导出。
在一个可能的实施方式中,在内衬的内侧上具有帘布层。这样的帘布层及其设计是现有技术。在另一可能的实施方式中,无粘合柔性管不含任何帘布层,特别是它不应在高的外部压力下运行时。
此外,该无粘合柔性管在内衬的外侧上包含一个或多个通常由螺旋状布置的钢丝、钢型材或钢带构成的增强层。这些增强层的设计是现有技术。优选如此构造这些增强层的至少一个,使得其耐受内压,并如此构造这些增强层中的至少另一个增强层,以使其耐受拉伸力。在所述一个或多个增强层上可连接一个通常以热塑性模塑料或弹性体的管道或软管形式的外部套管。
用于根据a)的层的含氟聚合物可以例如是聚偏二氟乙烯(PVDF)、乙烯-四氟乙烯共聚物(ETFE),借助于一种第三组分(Terkomponente)例如丙烯、六氟丙烯、氟乙烯或偏二氟乙烯改性的ETFE(例如EFEP)、乙烯-氯三氟乙烯共聚物(E-CTFE)、聚氯三氟乙烯(PCTFE)、四氟乙烯-六氟丙烯-偏二氟乙烯共聚物(THV)、四氟乙烯-六氟丙烯共聚物(FEP)或四氟乙烯-全氟烷基乙烯基醚共聚物(PFA)。
用于根据b)的层的烯烃聚合物可主要是聚乙烯,尤其是高密度聚乙烯(HDPE),或者全同立构的或间同立构的聚丙烯。聚乙烯优选交联,通常通过与自由基引发剂反应或通过接枝上的甲硅烷基的湿引发交联。聚丙烯可以是均聚物或共聚物,例如以乙烯或1-丁烯作为共聚单体,其中可以使用无规-或嵌段共聚物。此外,也可以将聚丙烯例如根据现有技术借助于乙烯-丙烯橡胶(EPM)或EPDM冲击改性。同样可根据本发明使用的间同立构聚苯乙烯可以以已知方式通过金属茂催化的苯乙烯聚合来制备。
根据a)和b)的层的模塑料可包含常规助剂和添加剂。含氟聚合物或烯烃聚合物的比例为至少50重量%,优选至少60重量%,特别优选至少70重量%,尤其优选至少80重量%,和最特别优选至少90重量%。
该聚酰胺可由二胺和二元羧酸的组合、由ω-氨基羧酸或相应的内酰胺来制备。原则上可以使用任何聚酰胺,例如PA6、PA66或基于与衍生自对苯二甲酸和/或间苯二甲酸(通常称作PPA)的单元的共聚酰胺,以及PA9T和PA10T和它们与其它聚酰胺的共混物。在一个优选实施方式中,聚酰胺的单体单元含有平均至少8个、至少9个或至少10个碳原子。在内酰胺的混合物的情况下,这里将考虑算术平均值。在二胺和二元羧酸的组合的情况下,二胺和二元羧酸的碳原子的算术平均值在此优选实施方式中必须为至少8、至少9或至少10。合适的聚酰胺是例如:PA610(可由六亚甲基二胺 [6个碳原子]和癸二酸 [10个碳原子]制备;单体单元中碳原子的平均数在此因此为8)、PA88(可由八亚甲基二胺和1,8-辛二酸制备)、PA8(可由辛内酰胺制备)、PA612、PA810、PA108、PA9、PA613、PA614、PA812、PA128、PA1010、PA10、PA814、PA148、PA1012、PA11、PA1014、PA1212和PA12。聚酰胺的制备是现有技术。当然也可以使用基于它们的共聚酰胺,其中任选也可以一起使用单体如己内酰胺。
该聚酰胺也可以是聚醚酰胺。聚醚酰胺原则上是已知的,例如从DE-OS 30 06 961中获知。它们含有聚醚二胺作为共聚单体。合适的聚醚二胺可通过将相应的聚醚二醇经还原胺化或偶联至丙烯腈及随后氢化来转化而获得(例如EP-A-0
434 244;EP-A-0 296 852)。它们通常具有230至4000的数均摩尔质量;其在聚醚酰胺中的比例优选为5至50重量%。
起始于丙二醇的市售可得的聚醚二胺可在Huntsman作为JEFFAMIN®
D类型购得。原则上,起始于1,4-丁二醇或1,3-丁二醇的聚醚二胺、或混合构建(例如具有来源于二元醇单元的无规或嵌段分布)的聚醚二胺也非常合适。
同样也可以使用不同聚酰胺的混合物,只要相容性足够。相容的聚酰胺组合是本领域技术人员已知的;这里例如可以列举PA12/PA1012、PA12/PA1212、PA612/PA12、PA613/PA12、PA1014/PA12和PA610/PA12的组合以及与PA11的相应组合。如果有疑问,可以通过常规试验确定相容组合。
在一个可能的实施方式中,使用30至99重量%,优选40至98重量%,和特别优选50至96重量%的较窄意义上的聚酰胺和1至70重量%,优选2至60重量%,和特别优选4至50重量%的聚醚酰胺的混合物。
除聚酰胺外,该模塑料可包含其它组分,例如冲击改性剂、其它热塑性塑料、增塑剂和其它常规添加剂。仅要求聚酰胺构成该模塑料的基质。
合适的冲击改性剂例如是乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物,优选选自
a) 具有20至96重量%,优选25至85重量%乙烯的乙烯/C3-至C12-α-烯烃共聚物。作为C3-至C12-α-烯烃例如使用丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-癸烯或1-十二烯。为此的典型实例是乙烯-丙烯橡胶,以及LLDPE和VLDPE。
b) 具有20至96重量%,优选25至85重量%乙烯和最多大约10重量%的非共轭二烯如双环[2.2.1]庚二烯、1,4-己二烯、二环戊二烯或5-亚乙基降冰片烯的乙烯/C3-至C12-α-烯烃/非共轭二烯三元共聚物。作为C3-至C12-α-烯烃合适的同样是例如丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-癸烯或1-十二烯。
例如借助于齐格勒-纳塔催化剂制备这些共聚物或三元共聚物是现有技术。
其它合适的冲击改性剂是苯乙烯-乙烯/丁烯嵌段共聚物。在此优选使用可通过氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物获得的苯乙烯-乙烯/丁烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SEBS)。但是,也可以使用二嵌段体系(SEB)或多嵌段体系。这样的嵌段共聚物是现有技术。
这些冲击改性剂优选含有酸酐基团,将所述酸酐基团以已知方式通过主链聚合物与不饱和二元羧酸酐、不饱和二元羧酸或不饱和二元羧酸单烷基酯的热或自由基反应以足够良好连接在聚酰胺上的浓度引入。合适的试剂例如是马来酸、马来酸酐、马来酸单丁酯、富马酸、柠康酸酐、乌头酸或衣康酸酐。以这样的方式,优选将0.1至4重量%的不饱和酐接枝到冲击改性剂上。根据现有技术,不饱和二元羧酸酐或其前体也可以与另一不饱和单体,例如苯乙烯、α-甲基苯乙烯或茚一起接枝。
其它合适的冲击改性剂是含有下列单体的单元的共聚物:
a) 20%至94.5重量%的一种或多种具有2至12个碳原子的α-烯烃,
b) 5至79.5重量%的一种或多种丙烯酸化合物,其选自
- 丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸或其盐,
- 丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸与C1-至C12-醇的酯,该酯可任选带有游离羟基官能或环氧化物官能,
- 丙烯腈或甲基丙烯腈,
- 丙烯酰胺或甲基丙烯酰胺,
c) 0.5至50重量%的烯属不饱和环氧化物、羧酸酐、羧酰亚胺、噁唑啉或噁嗪酮。
该共聚物例如由下列单体组成,其中这一列举不是穷举:
a) α-烯烃,例如乙烯、丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-癸烯或1-十二烯;
b) 丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸或其盐,例如以Na⊕或Zn2 ⊕作为抗衡离子;丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸正丙酯、丙烯酸正丁酯、丙烯酸异丁酯、丙烯酸正己酯、丙烯酸正辛酯、2-乙基己基丙烯酸酯、丙烯酸异壬酯、丙烯酸十二烷基酯、甲基丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸乙酯、甲基丙烯酸正丙酯、甲基丙烯酸正丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异丁酯、2-乙基己基甲基丙烯酸酯、丙烯酸羟乙酯、4-羟基丁基甲基丙烯酸酯、丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、丙烯腈、甲基丙烯腈、丙烯酰胺、N-甲基丙烯酰胺、N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺、N-乙基丙烯酰胺、N-羟乙基丙烯酰胺、N-丙基丙烯酰胺、N-丁基丙烯酰胺、N-(2-乙基己基)丙烯酰胺、甲基丙烯酰胺、N-甲基甲基丙烯酰胺、N,N-二甲基甲基丙烯酰胺、N-乙基甲基丙烯酰胺、N-羟乙基甲基丙烯酰胺、N-丙基甲基丙烯酰胺、N-丁基甲基丙烯酰胺、N,N-二丁基甲基丙烯酰胺、N-(2-乙基己基)甲基丙烯酰胺;
c) 乙烯基环氧乙烷、烯丙基环氧乙烷、丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、马来酸酐、乌头酸酐、衣康酸酐,以及由这些酸酐通过与水反应形成的二元羧酸;马来酰亚胺、N-甲基马来酰亚胺、N-乙基马来酰亚胺、N-丁基马来酰亚胺、N-苯基马来酰亚胺、乌头酰亚胺、N-甲基乌头酰亚胺、N-苯基乌头酰亚胺、衣康酰亚胺、N-甲基衣康酰亚胺、N-苯基衣康酰亚胺、N-丙烯酰基己内酰胺、N-甲基丙烯酰基己内酰胺、N-丙烯酰基十二内酰胺、N-甲基丙烯酰基十二内酰胺、乙烯基噁唑啉、异丙烯基噁唑啉、烯丙基噁唑啉、乙烯基噁嗪酮或异丙烯基噁嗪酮。
在使用丙烯酸缩水甘油酯或甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯的情况下,它们同时也作为丙烯酸化合物b)起作用,因此在(甲基)丙烯酸缩水甘油酯的量足够的情况下,不需要包含其它的丙烯酸化合物。在这种特殊的实施方式中,该共聚物含有下列单体的单元:
a) 20至94.5重量%的一种或多种具有2至12个碳原子的α-烯烃,
b) 0至79.5重量%的一种或多种丙烯酸化合物,其选自
- 丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸或其盐,
- 丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸与C1-至C12-醇的酯,
- 丙烯腈或甲基丙烯腈,
- 丙烯酰胺或甲基丙烯酰胺,
c) 0.5至80重量%的含有环氧基的丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸的酯,
其中b)和c)的总和为至少5.5重量%。
该共聚物可含有少量的其它的参与聚合的单体,只要它们没有显著损害所述性能,例如马来酸二甲酯、富马酸二丁酯、衣康酸二乙酯或苯乙烯。
这样的共聚物的制备是现有技术。其大量的不同类型可作为商品获得,例如以LOTADER®为名(Arkema;乙烯/丙烯酸酯/第三组分或乙烯/甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯)。
在一个优选实施方式中,该聚酰胺模塑料在这种情况下包含下列组分:
1. 60至96.5重量份的聚酰胺,
2. 3至39.5重量份的含有酸酐基团的抗冲击组分,其中该抗冲击组分选自乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物和苯乙烯-乙烯/丁烯嵌段共聚物,
3. 0.5至20重量份的含有下列单体的单元的共聚物:
a) 20%至94.5重量%的一种或多种具有2至12个碳原子的α-烯烃,
b) 5至79.5重量%的一种或多种丙烯酸化合物,其选自
- 丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸或其盐,
- 丙烯酸或甲基丙烯酸与任选可带有游离羟基官能或环氧化物官能的C1-至C12-醇的酯,
- 丙烯腈或甲基丙烯腈,
- 丙烯酰胺或甲基丙烯酰胺,
c) 0.5至50重量%的烯属不饱和环氧化物、羧酸酐、羧酰亚胺、噁唑啉或噁嗪酮,
其中根据1.、2.和3.的组分的重量份总和为100。
在另一优选实施方式中,该模塑料在此包含:
1. 65至90重量份和特别优选70至85重量份的聚酰胺,
2. 5至30重量份,特别优选6至25重量份,和尤其优选7至20重量份的抗冲击组分,
3. 0.6至15重量份和特别优选0.7至10重量份的优选含有下列单体的单元的共聚物:
a) 30%至80重量%的一种或多种α-烯烃,
b) 7至70重量%和特别优选10至60重量%的一种或多种丙烯酸化合物,
c) 1至40重量%和特别优选5至30重量%的烯属不饱和环氧化物、羧酸酐、羧酰亚胺、噁唑啉或噁嗪酮。
此外,作为抗冲击组分也可以使用任选含有官能团的丁腈橡胶(NBR)或氢化丁腈橡胶(H-NBR)。在US 2003/0220449A1中描述了相应的模塑料。
可包含于聚酰胺模塑料中的其它热塑性塑料主要是聚烯烃。在一个实施方式中,如上文在冲击改性剂中所述,它们可含有酸酐基团并因此任选与未官能化的冲击改性剂共同存在。在另一实施方式中,它们未官能化并与官能化冲击改性剂或官能化聚烯烃组合存在于模塑料中。术语“官能化”是指根据现有技术的聚合物提供可与聚酰胺端基反应的基团,例如酸酐基团、羧基、环氧化物基团或噁唑啉基团。在此优选的是下列组合物:
1. 50至95重量份的聚酰胺,
2. 1至49重量份的官能化或未官能化聚烯烃和
3. 1至49重量份的官能化或未官能化冲击改性剂,
其中根据1.、2.和3.的组分的重量份总和为100。
聚烯烃例如是聚乙烯或聚丙烯。原则上可以使用任何市售类型。因此例如合适的是:高密度、中密度或低密度线性聚乙烯、LDPE、乙烯-丙烯酸酯共聚物、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、全同立构或无规立构的均聚丙烯、丙烯与乙烯和/或1-丁烯的无规共聚物、乙烯-丙烯嵌段共聚物等。可根据任何已知方法,例如根据齐格勒-纳塔、根据Phillips法、借助于金属茂或通过自由基来制备该聚烯烃。所述聚酰胺在这种情况下也可以例如是PA6和/或PA66。
在一个可能的实施方式中,该模塑料含有1至25重量%,特别优选2至20重量%,和尤其优选3至15重量%的增塑剂。
增塑剂及其在聚酰胺中的用途是已知的。适合于聚酰胺的增塑剂的一般综述可见于Gächter/Müller, Kunststoffadditive, C. Hanser出版社, 第2版,第296页。
适合作为增塑剂的常规化合物例如是在醇组分中具有2至20个碳原子的对羟基苯甲酸的酯或在胺组分中具有2至12个碳原子的芳基磺酸的酰胺,优选苯磺酸的酰胺。作为增塑剂尤其适合的是对羟基苯甲酸乙酯、对羟基苯甲酸辛酯、对羟基苯甲酸异十六烷基酯、N-正辛基甲苯磺酰胺、N-正丁基苯磺酰胺或N-2-乙基己基苯磺酸酰胺。
此外,该模塑料还可包含常规量的用于调节一定性能所需的添加剂。为此的实例是颜料或填料,如炭黑、二氧化钛、硫化锌、增强纤维例如玻璃纤维,加工助剂如蜡、硬脂酸锌或硬脂酸钙,抗氧化剂、UV稳定剂和赋予产品抗静电性能的添加剂,例如碳纤维、石墨原纤、不锈钢的纤维或导电炭黑。
聚酰胺在根据c)的模塑料中的比例为至少50重量%,优选至少60重量%,特别优选至少70重量%,尤其优选至少80重量%和最特别优选至少90重量%。
内衬的内径通常为至少30毫米,至少40毫米,至少50毫米或至少60毫米,以及最大900毫米,最大800毫米,最大700毫米或最大620毫米;但是在某些情况下,其也可以更高或更低。内衬的总壁厚度通常为至少2毫米,至少2.5毫米,至少3毫米,至少4毫米或至少5毫米,以及最大50毫米,最大40毫米,最大30毫米,最大25毫米,最大20毫米或最大16毫米;在某些情况下,其也可以更高或更低。含氟聚合物模塑料的根据a)的层的厚度为总壁厚度的0.5至30%,和优选1至20%,基于烯烃聚合物的模塑料的根据b)的层的厚度为总壁厚度的1至60%,和优选2至50%,且聚酰胺模塑料的根据c)的层的厚度为总壁厚度的10至98.5%,和优选20至97%。
根据现有技术,通过共挤出、通过各层的缠绕挤出,或任选通过带的缠绕来制造内衬。
在根据a)和b)的层的同时存在下,根据c)的层中的聚酰胺非常出色地防止了来自传送的流体的水的扩散;因此显著抑制了聚酰胺的水解。因此,尤其在70℃以上的运行温度下显著改进了该管道的使用寿命。
Claims (3)
1.具有无粘合层的多层结构柔性管,所述管包含具有下列层布置的内衬:
a) 含氟聚合物模塑料的最内层,
b) 基于烯烃聚合物的模塑料的中间层,所述烯烃聚合物选自聚乙烯、全同立构聚丙烯、间同立构聚丙烯和间同立构聚苯乙烯,
c) 聚酰胺模塑料的外层。
2.根据权利要求1所述的柔性管,
其特征在于,
所述内衬是管道。
3.根据权利要求1或2之一所述的柔性管,
其特征在于,
除内衬而外,其包含一个或多个层,它们选自
- 内置的帘布层,
- 一个或多个外置的增强层和
- 外部套管。
