Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种如权利要求1和10前序部分所述的测定机器系统(尤其是浮动设备中的机器系统)内运行用料的化学和/或物理特性的方法与装置。例如WO 2009/037089 A1揭示过这类方法和这类装置。
背景技术
能否对机器系统内运行用料的化学和/或物理特性进行精确监测,越来越重要。对于浮动设备如船舶或海上平台的船载或平台机器系统而言,尤为如此。举例而言,新的欧盟指令引入了港口船舶或在特定海域或内陆水域作业的船舶必须遵守的船用燃料含硫量限值。航行在这些水域中的船舶有可能会受到检查,即所用燃料的含硫量是否低于规定限值。
在上述水域以外的大洋上航行时允许燃烧任意含硫量的燃料。由于低硫燃料比高含硫量的燃料贵,船舶会在大部分航程中使用便宜的含硫燃料,只在有特别限值规定的水域使用低硫燃料。这就意味着,未来船舶上将装载不同品质的燃料,并且按具体需要将这些燃料予以混合(所谓的“混配(Blending)”)。
新的欧盟指令规定,驶往欧盟港口的船舶在常规航行日志中必须提供燃料转换数据。相关检查有可能从船用燃料中采样并检验其含硫量。因此,船员不但要检查机器运行时所使用的燃料,早在添加燃料过程中就需要对燃料品质进行检查。
WO 2009/037089 A1揭示一种包括测量评价设备的燃料系统,该测量评价设备利用红外光谱法实时测定燃料含硫量。为此需要将燃料放入测量单元并用来自于红外(IR)光源的光照射这部分燃料。用分光计测量透射燃料或者被燃料反射的光的光谱,并且借助相关算法利用校准模型对测得光谱进行分析。
WO 2007/093500 A1揭示一种借助红外光谱法测定船用燃料含硫量并据此对用该燃料运行的内燃机的气缸润滑剂供给进行控制的测量系统。
除测定燃料含硫量外,许多机器系统还存在测定诸多其它运行用料(例如轴承润滑剂或液压液)的化学和/或物理特性的需求,以作为预防性养护措施或运行优化手段。
发明内容
有鉴于此,本发明的目的是帮助权利要求1前序部分所述的方法以及权利要求10前序部分所述的装置进一步改善运行用料化学和/或物理特性的测定精度。
在方法方面,本发明用以达成上述目的的解决方案为一种如权利要求1所述的方法。从属权利要求2至9为该方法的有利设计方案。在装置方面,本发明用以达成上述目的的解决方案为一种如权利要求10所述的装置。从属权利要求11至17为该装置的有利设计方案。
一种测定一机器系统(尤其是一浮动设备如船舶或海上平台中的机器系统)内运行用料的化学和/或物理特性的方法,其中,用光照射所述运行用料并且对透射所述运行用料或者被所述运行用料反射的光进行光谱分析,根据本发明,所述运行用料受照时至少具有一选自一规定温度范围的温度,优选正好具有一规定温度。
这一方案的提出是基于以下认识:既往来于热带水域又往来于北极水域的浮动设备所载的机器系统会遭遇环境温度变化或者遭遇环境温度巨大的昼夜波动,而这些温度变化会导致运行用料受照时也产生温度变化。然而,透射运行用料或者被运行用料反射的光的强度具有不可忽略的温度相关性,在上述情况下,这种温度相关性就会使得光谱评价出现误差。温度变化还会对诸如粘度、密度和运行用料流速等其它物理特性产生影响,这也会导致光谱评价出现误差。但是如果运行用料受照时至少具有选自规定温度范围的温度,优选正好具有规定温度,就能为光谱分析及之后的评价创造始终大体一致或者优选完全一致的框架/一般条件,从而提高化学和/或物理特性的测定精度。
“物理特性”在此指的是与运行用料本身而非仅与该运行用料的个别成分有关的特性。例如粘度、密度和闪点。“化学特性”指的是物理特性定义范围以外与运行用料的化学组成有关的特性,例如成分的种类和含量(例如含水量、含硫量或灰分含量),十六烷值或pH值。一般而言可以根据化学特性推导物理特性。
所述运行用料可以是任何一种与机器系统运行有关的物质,例如燃料、驱动用料、润滑剂、冷却剂或液压液。
如果运行用料在受照前不具有选自规定温度范围的期望温度或者不具有预定温度,可以在用光照射该运行用料之前,将其加热或冷却至一选自规定温度范围的温度,优选加热或冷却至规定温度。
事实表明,如果所述预定温度范围最高为10K,就可以在测定化学和/或物理特性时达到对大多数用途而言足够高的精度。
根据一种特别有利的设计方案,对所述光进行光谱分析时,借助多个不同算法测定所述运行用料的多项不同化学和/或物理特性。为此,可以在一评价单元中针对每一项待测特性分别存储一个与之对应的算法,该算法又分别使用一个如WO 2009/037089 A1所述的校准模型。如此一来,仅需借助单独一次测量(即以较少设备投入)就能同时测定运行用料的多项特性。
优选在一被所述运行用料穿过的测量单元内用光照射所述运行用料。该测量单元可采用紧凑型设计,可以直接装入所述机器系统的管道系统,或者装入一附加旁通管道。如果将所述测量单元实施为透射测量单元(transmission measuring cell),就能实现特别精确、可靠的测量。
如果用一清洁流体例如定期清洁所述测量单元,就能进一步提高测量精度。为此,优选需要中断对测量单元的运行用料输送,让清洁流体而非运行用料穿过测量单元。借此可以去除测量单元内因长时间停用或者长时间工作而形成且会对测量造成影响的沉积物。
所述清洁流体还可以作为参照介质用来检验测量单元的工作方式是否正确。为此可以在清洁流体穿过测量单元的过程中,像正常工作时那样用光照射清洁流体,再对透射清洁流体或者被清洁流体反射的光进行光谱分析。将由此获得的光谱与一用于清洁流体的参照光谱进行比较。如果与参照光谱之间存在偏差,就表明测量框架/一般条件有误(例如测量单元磨损或有沉积物)。
有利的是,利用为所述运行用料所测定的化学和/或物理特性来控制所述机器系统的运行。举例而言,通过将相关数据纳入机器系统的自动化系统或监测系统,就能实现这一点。这样就能优化该机器系统的运行。此外还能对机器部件进行磨损监测,尽早采取养护或维修措施或者优化养护周期。
根据另一有利设计方案,为在某个时间点上测定的所述运行用料的化学和/或物理特性分配一时间说明(time specification)和一位置说明(timespecification)。借此可以将所获得的数据记录下来以备检查(例如,向有关机构证明燃料品质符合要求)或后续分析之需(例如成本效益分析、趋势分析、燃料品质分析、距离计算)。
一种用于测定一机器系统(尤其是一浮动设备如船舶或海上平台中的机器系统)内运行用料的化学和/或物理特性的装置,包括一测量评价设备,所述测量评价设备包括一用光照射一运行用料的光源和一用于对透射所述运行用料或者被所述运行用料反射的光进行光谱分析的分光计,根据本发明,所述装置具有一加热设备和/或一冷却设备,其用于将所述运行用料至少加热和/或冷却至一选自一规定温度范围的温度,优选正好加热或冷却至一规定温度。上文联系本发明方法所说明的优点也适用于本发明的装置。

具体实施方式
图1为用于测定机器系统2的运行用料的化学和/或物理特性的装置1的简化示意图。机器系统2例如包括内燃机3和油箱4,该油箱内储存有内燃机3的运行用料,例如内燃机3的燃料5。机器系统2例如是船舶的船载驱动系统。内燃机3则例如是用于驱动船舶的大型柴油机,燃料5是柴油。
从油箱4通往机器3的燃料输送管6上设有分支管道7,该管道将一部分燃料5送往测量单元8。测量单元8中的燃料或者经管道9返回油箱4,或者由管道10送回管道6。
测量单元8与测量评价设备11一起构成如WO 2009/037089 A1所述的装置的核心部分。测量评价设备11包括测量单元11a和评价单元11b,测量单元11a包括红外光源13和红外光谱分析仪14,二者通过光缆15与测量单元8连接,评价单元11b是一包括显示设备的计算机,用于评价红外光谱分析仪14所测得的光谱以及用于控制测量单元11a。测量单元8优选实施为如图2所示的透射通流单元(transmission throughflow measuring cell)。燃料经输入端16进入测量单元8,经输出端17离开测量单元。燃料在测量单元8内部沿流动方向20从输入端16流向输出端17。在测量单元8的两个相对壁部设有用于连接光缆15的接头18、19,且方向与燃料流动方向20相垂直,其中,接头18通过光缆15与红外光源13连接,接头19通过光缆15与红外光谱分析仪14连接。在此情况下,红外光源11的红外线将透过输入端18照射燃料,沿方向12透射燃料的光经输出端19进入红外光谱分析仪14并在此接受光谱分析。
装置1还包括加热设备21,该加热设备包括热交换器23形式的加热元件,该热交换器从燃料流向看布置在测量单元前面。加热设备21还包括布置在测量单元8表面或内部的第二加热元件,其形式为加热线圈24。加热设备21在燃料受照之前将其加热至一规定温度,例如65℃,如此一来,燃料受照时就能始终保持相同的规定温度,从而也能保持相同的密度、粘度和流速。需要时也可以用能够将燃料冷却至一规定温度的冷却设备代替加热设备。为此,加热设备21或该冷却设备可以包括开环和/或闭环控制和/或调节单元,这个控制和/或调节单元通过传感器测量燃料温度并据此对加热设备21的加热效率或者冷却设备的冷却效率进行控制和/或调节,使得燃料在受照时始终保持期望的规定温度。
评价单元11b中存储有多个分别用于测定燃料的多项不同化学和/或物理特性的不同算法。为此,针对每一项待测特性,评价单元11b中均存储有一个与之对应的算法,该算法又分别使用一个如WO 2009/037089 A1所述的自有校准模型。因此,仅需借助单独一个光谱(即单独一次测量)以及单独一个测量单元8就能同时测定燃料的多项化学特性(例如含水量、含硫量、十六烷值)和多项物理特性(例如粘度、密度、闪点),由评价单元11b对这些特性进行进一步处理,并且加以显示和存储。
评价单元11b与GPS接收器30联接,并且为在某个时间点上为某一运行用料测定的化学和/或物理特性数据分配时间及位置说明,并且将该时间及位置说明与所述数据一并存储起来。
装置1还包括储有清洁流体(cleaning fluid)32(例如纯柴油)的储存器31。储存器31可以通过双向阀33与测量单元8连接,因此可以选择性地让来自油箱4的燃料5穿过测量单元8,或者让来自储存器31的清洁流体32穿过测量单元8。通过用清洁流体清洁测量单元8,可以去除测量单元8内因长时间停用或者长时间工作而形成且会对测量造成影响的沉积物。
清洁流体32还可以作为参照介质用来检验测量单元8的工作方式是否正确。为此可以在清洁流体穿过测量单元8的过程中,像正常工作时那样用光照射清洁流体,再对透射清洁流体或者被清洁流体反射的光进行光谱分析。将由此获得的光谱与评价单元11b中所存储的用于清洁流体的参照光谱进行比较。如果与参照光谱之间存在偏差,就表明测量的一般条件有误(例如测量单元8磨损或有沉积物)。
清洁流体离开测量单元8后或者经管道10进入机器3,或者被送入储存器36并得到进一步处理。
如图3所示,装置1也可包括多个测量单元8,这些测量单元可以测定机器系统2的多种不同运行用料的化学和/或物理特性,以及/或者可以在机器系统2的多个不同位置上测定同一种运行用料的化学和/或物理特性,并且这些测量单元通过光缆15与(中央)测量评价设备11连接或者可以通过光缆15与(中央)测量评价设备11连接。
举例而言,如果涉及的是船舶,就可以分别在柴油机41的燃料输送管6和柴油机42的燃料输送管6中各设置一个测量单元8,其中,柴油机41用于驱动船舶3,柴油机42用于驱动为船舶的船舶电网发电的发电机43。这些测量单元8在管道6中布置在混合设备(未详示)的均质器44后面,该混合设备对储存在油箱4内的不同品质的燃料进行混合处理(“混配”)。
此外,在机器系统的所有机器(即柴油机41和42以及发电机43)的润滑剂供给设备45以及螺旋桨轴47的轴承46的润滑剂供给设备中还分别设有一个测量单元8。
在用于为船舶油箱4加油的油箱加油颈口48后面还设有一测量单元8,该测量单元的作用是在船舶加油过程中监测燃料品质。
(中央)测量评价设备11与机器系统(machine installation)2的自动化系统50联接,这样就能利用测定的化学和/或物理特性来控制机器系统的运行。举例而言,可以在润滑剂中的重金属含量上升时对养护周期进行相应调整。可以对到达特殊要求区域(例如港口)时不同品质燃料间的自动转换进行优化。可以自动对机器进行磨损监测,必要时将机器断开。通过对所有的相关燃料特性进行持续记录,可以品质评估为目的对已加燃料进行成本效益分析,可以在燃料消耗量以及现有已加燃料所支持的剩余航程方面进行预测性计算。所获得的数据还可纳入自动化系统内的趋势分析。特别重要的一点是,可以将所获得的数据记录下来以备检查之需(例如,作为提供给有关机构的证明)。特别有利的是,上述装置可以“实时”测定运行用料的化学和/或物理特性,所谓“实时”就是延时不多,这样就能对意外事件作出及时反应。
为了减少所需光缆15的数量,测量单元11a也可以如图4所示通过多路器(multiplexer)系统60与各测量单元8连接,该多路器系统由两个连接在测量单元11a上的中央光缆15和多个多路器61构成,其中,每个测量单元8均各通过一个多路器61与两个中央光缆15连接。
根据另一替代性设计方案,测量评价设备11也可实施为移动式设备,需要时可以通过光缆15就地连接到测量单元8上。
Claims (17)
1.一种测定一机器系统(2)(尤其是一浮动设备中的机器系统)内运行用料的化学和/或物理特性的方法,其中,用光照射所述运行用料并且对透射所述运行用料或者被所述运行用料反射的光进行光谱分析,其特征在于,
所述运行用料受照时至少具有一预定温度范围以内的温度,优选正好具有一预定温度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,
在照射所述运行用料之前,将其加热或冷却至所述选自所述规定温度范围以内的温度,优选加热或冷却至所述规定温度。

14.根据权利要求13所述的装置(1),其特征在于一包含一清洁流体的储存器(31),其中,所述储存器(31)可与所述测量单元(8)连接。
15.根据权利要求10至14中任一项所述的装置(1),其特征在于多个测量单元(8),所述测量单元可以测定所述机器系统(2)的多种不同运行用料的化学和/或物理特性,以及/或者可以在所述机器系统(2)的多个不同位置上测定同一种运行用料的化学和/或物理特性,并且所述测量单元通过光缆(15)与所述测量评价设备(11)连接或者可以通过光缆(15)与所述测量评价设备(11)连接。
16.根据权利要求10至15中任一项所述的装置(1),其特征在于,
所述测量评价设备(11)与所述机器系统(2)的一自动化系统(50)联接。
17.根据权利要求10至16中任一项所述的装置(1),其特征在于,
所述测量评价设备(11)与一GPS接收器(30)联接。
