技术领域
本发明涉及用于监视车辆的周围环境的装置,其中,借助多个图像探测单元来探测周围环境,该图像探测单元的探测区域至少局部地相互重叠并形成重叠区域;借助图像处理单元从图像探测单元探测到的单独图像产生出总图像,该总图像以鸟瞰方式示出车辆以及车辆的周围环境。
背景技术
用于运输货物或人的商用车的通常的特征在于,车辆尺寸很大和视觉清晰度很低。现代的乘用车基于其外部形状通常也具有非常低的视觉清晰度。由此导致对于驾驶员来说尤其驾驶这种车辆是非常困难的。因此,有利的是在显示屏上以鸟瞰方式示出车辆以及车辆的周围环境,从而该车辆以及该车辆的整体周围环境对于驾驶员是可见的。
在现有技术中已知用于如此监视和显示车辆的周围环境的各种方法和装置,其中以鸟瞰的方式向车辆的驾驶员尤其示出车辆的以及该车辆的周围环境的图像。由此对于驾驶员来说实现了更好的视野,该视野在驾驶操作期间、例如在驾驶车辆时对驾驶员起到辅助作用或为其提供帮助。另外,尤其是在车辆很大和车辆的视野受限制的情况下,可避免通常由于差的视野而发生的事故。

从EP1 145 905A2已知一种相机,该相机具有用于在机动车中监视死角的视界控制装置。在车辆上设置有用于将来自左边和右边的图像探测方向的入射光进行反射的棱镜。可相对于水平面竖直和倾斜地枢转图像探测单元的取向,从而能借助该图像探测单元探测位于该水平面上方或下方的物体。
从DE601 01 440T2已知一种用于监视运动体的周围环境的装置,其中,该运动体优选地运输人或货物,亦即尤其是车辆。该装置包括图像处理器,该图像处理器可运行成使得,该图像处理器将至少一个图像探测单元探测到的图像数据转换成该运动体的以及该运动体的周围环境的鸟瞰显示图,从而显示单元显示该运动体的以及该运动体的周围环境的鸟瞰显示图像。在此,也可借助第一图像探测单元的第一透视图像与第二图像探测单元的第二透视图像的结合来确定所显示的图像。为了转换图像数据,应用查询表,该查询表也已知为查找表或换算表。
另外,US2008 043 113A1公开了一种装置和方法,借助该装置和方法,来自设置在车辆前侧和左侧的前面和侧面相机的单独图像被转化成总图像,该总图像以鸟瞰方式示出该车辆和该车辆的周围环境。为了尽可能完整地探测车辆的周围环境,所述相机的探测区域是重叠的,其中,以鸟瞰方式示出的总图像是借助所述单独图像的结合而形成的。借助换算表的 数据来将单独图像转换成总图像。
另外,从现有技术已知一种所谓的WLC技术(晶圆级相机)。在该WLC技术中,光学透镜直接置于晶片/晶圆上。晶圆级相机的生产在机能方面类似于将电路应用到晶片上。在此,将数千个光学透镜同时应用到晶片上,随后将所述光学透镜对齐并与晶片粘合。通过所谓的晶圆堆叠技术,消除了在常规的制造方法中所必需的、高成本的透镜单独装配和对齐。最后,将单独的晶圆级相机从晶片剪下并放置到传感器模块上。这种技术的大的优势在于制造成本低。另外,厚度/尺寸为2.5毫米的晶圆级相机仅是常规的最小的相机模块的约一半大。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提出一种更好的用于监视车辆的周围环境的装置。
根据本发明,该目的通过下述的用于监视车辆的周围环境的装置实现,其中,借助多个图像探测单元来探测周围环境,该图像探测单元的探测区域至少局部地相互重叠并形成重叠区域;借助图像处理单元从图像探测单元探测到的单独图像产生出总图像,该总图像以鸟瞰方式示出车辆以及车辆的周围环境,其特征在于,所述图像探测单元构造为晶圆级相机。
在本发明的优选构造方式和改进方案中,可选地包括一个或多个如下特征:
-多个晶圆级相机相互平行相邻地成列设置;
-晶圆级相机集成设置在车辆车身的侧面上;
-列中的两个晶圆级相机同时拍摄一图像并将所述图像传送到图像处理单元;
-两个晶圆级相机之间的距离是可变的;
-设置有用于显示总图像的显示装置;
-图像处理单元以空间上与晶圆级相机直接紧邻的方式设置在车辆中。
在根据本发明的用于监视车辆的周围环境的装置中,借助多个图像探 测单元探测所述周围环境,所述多个图像探测单元的探测区域至少部分地重叠并形成一重叠区域,其中借助图像处理单元从图像探测单元探测到的单独图像产生出一总图像,该总图像以鸟瞰方式示出车辆以及车辆的周围环境。根据本发明,该图像探测单元构造为晶圆级相机。
有利的是,该晶圆级相机使得生产成本较小。该相机所需要的安装空间是如此得小,使得多个这种晶圆级相机可以相互平行相邻地成列设置在车辆中。
通过安装的多个晶圆级相机,可方便地探测车辆的完整的周围环境,而不需要用于单独的相机的复杂的枢转机械装置。
由此,对于驾驶员来说实现了更好的视野,该视野在行驶操作期间、例如在驾驶车辆时对驾驶员起到辅助作用或为其提供帮助。另外,尤其是在车辆很大和车辆的视野受限制的情况下,可避免通常由于差的视野而发生的事故。

具体实施方式
将多个、尤其是10个或更多个晶圆级相机1设置成列并且集成在车身侧面上(未详细示出)。
通过所述多个晶圆级相机1,车辆的未详细示出的周围环境被完全地探测。由此在探测中避免了死角。
借助所谓的WLC(晶圆级相机)技术来制造晶圆级相机1。在该WLC技术中,光学透镜4直接置于晶片5上。晶圆级相机1的生产类似于将电路应用到晶片5上。在此,将数千个光学透镜4同时应用到晶片5上,随后将所述光学透镜对齐并与晶片粘合。通过所谓的晶圆堆叠技术,消除了在常规的制造方法中所必需的、高成本的、对于透镜4的单独装配和对齐。最后,将单独的晶圆级相机1从晶片剪下并放置到传感器模块6上。这种技术的大的优势在于制造成本低。另外,厚度/尺寸为2.5毫米的晶圆级相机仅是常规的最小的相机模块的约一半大。

将总图像传输到未详细示出的显示装置上,该显示装置设置在车辆中处于驾驶员的视线范围内。例如可将导航系统或倒车辅助系统的显示装置用作这类显示装置。
在另一实施方式中,晶圆级相机1的示出的图像能在显示装置上通过标记交叉变换(überblendbar),该标记表示车辆的尺寸、例如车辆的宽度以及还有高度,从而驾驶员可快速和清楚地探测其车辆例如是否能够从障碍物之间或从障碍物下方穿过。在该实施方式中,监控装置例如附加地包括图像处理单元,以将标记对应于相应示出的图像部段而正确定位。

在本发明的一未详细示出的构造方式中,与行驶状态有关,可从车辆和车辆的周围环境的鸟瞰图切换至另一视角的显示图、例如倒车行驶相机的图像,从而车辆的驾驶员可更好地评估行驶状态。
在一优选实施方式中可应用立体视镜。为此,由一列晶圆级相机1来拍摄两个晶圆级相机1的图像并将所述图像传送到图像处理单元。
对于该立体视镜,两个拍摄相机之间的距离——也称为基本宽度B——是重要的。在一列晶圆级相机1中,该基本宽度B是可变的。可简单地通过对不同的晶圆级相机1进行控制来改变基本宽度B。例如以相距较远的方式而置的晶圆级相机1可拍摄具有大的基本宽度B的图像。与此相类似地,以相距较小的方式而置的晶圆级相机1可拍摄具有小的基本宽度B的图像。

在另一个有利的实施方式中,列中的晶圆级相机1配备有具有不同焦距的光学透镜4。由此,可通过在不同的晶圆级相机1之间简单地进行切换来拍摄具有不同焦距的图像。

1.一种用于监视车辆的周围环境的装置,其中,借助多个图像探测单元来探测所述周围环境,所述图像探测单元的探测区域(2)至少局部地相互重叠并形成一重叠区域(3),其中,借助图像处理单元从所述图像探测单元探测到的单独图像产生出一总图像,所述总图像以鸟瞰方式示出所述车辆以及所述车辆的周围环境,所述图像探测单元为晶圆级相机(1),多个晶圆级相机(1)相互平行相邻地成列设置,所述图像处理单元从第一对以第一基本宽度间隔开的晶圆级相机获得第一立体图像、并且从第二对以第二基本宽度间隔开的晶圆级相机获得第二立体图像,其中,所述第一基本宽度不同于所述第二基本宽度,以获得具有不同基本宽度的立体图像。
