本发明公开了一种阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金及其制备方法,该PET/PBT合金按质量百分含量由以下组分组成:PBT10~42%、PET 10~42%、卤素阻燃剂7~12%、三氧化二锑3~5%、相容剂3~10%、抗氧剂0.3~0.9%、成核促进剂0.5~1%、复合成核剂3~8%、玻璃纤维10~30%、加工助剂0.4~1%。本发明将PET和PBT融合制得PET/PBT合金,且该PET/PBT合金结晶速率快、力学性能好和热变形温度高、表面光泽度高、收缩率低、尺寸稳定、低翘曲、成本较低,且在一定的场合下完全可以用本发明的PBT/PET合金来替代电木粉的使用。

技术领域
本发明涉及热塑性高分子材料技术领域,尤其涉及一种阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金及其制备方法。
背景技术
PET(poly ethylene terephthalate,聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯)是1953年由Dupont公司最早实现工业化的线性热塑性聚合物,是一种具有较高的熔融温度(Tm)和玻璃化温度(Tg)的结晶性高聚物,能够在较宽的温度范围内保持优良的物理性能和力学性能,它的耐疲劳性、耐摩擦性优良,耐老化性优异,电绝缘性突出,对大多数有机溶剂和无机酸稳定,而且生产能耗很低,加工性良好,因而被广泛应用于合成纤维、薄膜和工程塑料等领域,但由于PET的刚性使其结晶速度较慢,成型模具温度高以及成型周期长的缺点,使其在工程塑料领域中的应用受到了限制。
而PBT(poly butylene terephthalate,聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯)分子链段柔性好于PET,且力学性能好、热变形温度低、结晶速率较快。
因此,研究和开发PET/PET合金具有重要的理论意义和实用价值。而且目前现有技术中,电木粉属于热固性塑料,有不易回收、比重大,颜色单一(为灰黑色)、性质较脆、加工困难等缺点,因此,如何寻找电木粉的替代品也是一个亟待解决的问题。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金及其制备方法,该合金结晶速率快、力学性能和热变形温度高、表面光泽度高、收缩率低、尺寸稳定、低翘曲、成本较低、可以替代电木粉使用,且具有阻燃效果。
本发明的技术方案是:
一种阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,按质量百分含量由以下组分组成:
PBT                 10~42%
PET                 10~42%
卤素阻燃剂          7~12%
三氧化二锑          3~5%
相容剂              3~10%
抗氧剂              0.3~0.9%
成核促进剂          0.5~1%
复合成核剂          3~8%
玻璃纤维            10~30%
加工助剂            0.4~1%。
上述阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金的制备方法,包括:
步骤一、按上述的质量百分含量称取各组分,并将称取的PET及PBT在110~130℃温度下干燥时间4小时以上,其他组分在60~80℃温度下干燥2小时以上;
步骤二、将干燥处理后的PET、PBT、卤素阻燃剂、三氧化二锑、相容剂、抗氧剂、成核促进剂、复合成核剂及加工助剂放入高速混合机中混合,在常温下搅拌5~15min;
步骤三、将步骤二混合后的物料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,将玻璃纤维从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒;
其中,双螺杆挤出机的温度设置为:一区:200~210℃;二区:210~220℃;三区:220~230℃;四区:230~240℃;五区:240~250℃;六区:240~250℃;七区:240~250℃;八区:250~260℃;机头温度:240~250℃;螺杆转速控制在200~400r/min。
本发明采用复合成核剂,辅以成核促进剂将PET和PBT融合制得PET/PBT合金,有效的促进了PET和PBT的融合,且该PET/PBT合金结晶速率快、力学性能好和热变形温度高、表面光泽度高、收缩率低、尺寸稳定、低翘曲、成本较低,而且含有卤素阻燃剂和三氧化二锑,具有阻燃效果;可以应用于电子电器、汽车等领域;且在一定的场合下完全可以用本发明的PBT/PET合金来替代电木粉的使用,能克服电木粉的缺点,且表面质感能与电木粉一样。
具体实施方式
本发明PET和PBT融合制得PET/PBT合金,该PET/PBT合金,按质量百分含量由以下组分组成:
PBT                   10~42%
PET                   10~42%
卤素阻燃剂            7~12%
三氧化二锑            3~5%
相容剂                3~10%
抗氧剂                0.3~0.9%
成核促进剂            0.5~1%
复合成核剂            3~8%
玻璃纤维              10~30%
加工助剂              0.4~1%。
本发明采用复合成核剂,辅以成核促进剂将PET和PBT融合制得PET/PBT合金,有效的促进了PET和PBT的融合。且含有卤素阻燃剂和三氧化二锑,具有阻燃效果。
其中PET可以为中高等粘度的树脂,特性粘度0.83~0.92分升/克;PBT可以为中高等粘度的树脂,特性粘度0.98~1.1分升/克;相容剂可以为乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物EMA或乙烯-丙烯酸甲酯-甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯共聚物中的一种;
卤素阻燃剂可以为分子量20000~25000的溴化环氧树脂或5%PBT为载体的溴化聚苯乙烯母粒;该溴化聚苯乙烯母粒可以由美国雅宝公司生产,牌号为621。
抗氧剂可以由主抗氧剂四[β-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸]季戊四醇酯和辅助抗氧剂亚磷酸三(2·4-二叔丁基苯基)酯混合而成;
成核促进剂可以为有机成核促进剂,如大分子羧酸及其盐类、安息香酸钠盐等,该成核促进剂具有降低熔融黏度,促进结晶速度、促进各组分的分散等作用;
复合成核剂可以由Bruggemann P250(一种有机成分与无机成分的成核助剂的优化混合物)和3500目的滑石粉混合而成,该滑石粉为超细无机填料,具有成核作用;
玻璃纤维可以为无碱长纤,直径为:9~14μm;加工助剂可以为对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯的环状低聚物,比如美国Cyclics公司CBT功能树脂,该产品具有大环寡聚酯结构,可以大幅度提高产品的流动性和加工性。
本发明PET/PBT合金的制备方法,包括:
步骤一、按上述所述的质量百分含量称取各组分,并将称取的PET及PBT在110~130℃温度下干燥时间4小时以上,其他组分在60~80℃温度下干燥2小时以上;这是由于PET及PBT易吸潮,因此,在共混改性前必须对其进行干燥处理;
步骤二、将干燥处理后的PET、PBT、卤素阻燃剂、三氧化二锑、相容剂、抗氧剂、成核促进剂、复合成核剂及加工助剂放入高速混合机中混合,在常温下搅拌5~15min;
步骤三、将步骤二混合后的物料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,将玻璃纤维从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒;双螺杆挤出机可以用平行双螺杆挤出机,螺杆直径35-75mm;
其中,双螺杆挤出机的温度设置为:一区:200~210℃;二区:210~220℃;三区:220~230℃;四区:230~240℃;五区:240~250℃;六区:240~250℃;七区:240~250℃;八区:250~260℃;机头温度:240~250℃;螺杆转速控制在200~400r/min。
下面结合实施例对本发明做一详细的阐述。其中在下述各个实施例中,主抗氧化剂和辅助抗氧剂分别为瑞士汽巴产的Irganox 1010和168;成核促进剂采用有机成核促进剂,商品牌号POLYCIZER A55;复合成核剂由Bruggemann P250和3500目的滑石粉混合而成;加工助剂为美国Cyclics公司的CBT功能树脂;卤素阻燃剂为分子量20000~25000的溴化环氧树脂或美国雅宝公司的5%PBT为载体的溴化聚苯乙烯母粒(牌号621)。
实施例一
将PET和PBT在110℃下干燥4小时,其余的助剂在70℃下干燥2小时。称取PET 42kg,PBT 18.5kg,溴化环氧树脂12kg,三氧化二锑3kg,相容剂4kg,复合成核剂3kg(其中P2500.5kg,滑石粉3kg),成核促进剂1kg,抗氧剂10100.3kg、1680.3kg,润滑剂CBT 0.9kg;然后在高速混合机中混合10min。混合均匀的料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,控制各段温度在:一区:210℃;二区:220℃;三区:230℃;四区:240℃;五区:250℃;六区:240℃;七区:240℃;八区:230℃;机头温度:250℃,螺杆转速350r/min,将玻璃纤维15kg从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒,最后包袋成玻纤增强PET/PBT合金成品。
实施例二
将PET和PBT在120℃下干燥4小时,其余的助剂在60℃下干燥2小时。称取PET 10kg,PBT 38.3kg,溴化环氧树脂8kg,三氧化二锑4kg,相容剂10kg,复合成核剂8kg(其中P2505kg,滑石粉3kg),成核促进剂1kg,抗氧剂10100.1kg,1680.2kg,润滑剂CBT 0.4kg;然后在高速混合机中混合10min。混合均匀的料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,控制各段温度在:一区:210℃;二区:220℃;三区:230℃;四区:240℃;五区:250℃;六区:250℃;七区:240℃;八区:230℃;机头温度:250℃,螺杆转速320r/min,将玻璃纤维20kg从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒,最后包袋成玻纤增强PET/PBT合金成品。
实施例三
将PET和PBT在130℃下干燥4小时,其余的助剂在80℃下干燥2小时。称取PET 18kg,PBT 42kg,溴化环氧树脂10kg,三氧化二锑5kg,相容剂3kg,复合成核剂4.6kg(其中P2500.8kg,滑石粉3.8kg),成核促进剂0.5kg,抗氧剂10100.3kg,1680.6kg,润滑剂CBT 1kg;然后在高速混合机中混合10mi n。混合均匀的料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,控制各段温度在:一区:210℃;二区:220℃;三区:230℃;四区:240℃;五区:250℃;六区:240℃;七区:240℃;八区:230℃;机头温度:250℃,螺杆转速200r/min,将玻璃纤维15kg从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒,最后包袋成玻纤增强PET/PBT合金成品。
实施例四
将PET和PBT在110℃下干燥4小时,其余的助剂在70℃下干燥2小时。称取PET 24kg,PBT 40kg,溴化环氧树脂10kg,三氧化二锑5kg,相容剂3.2kg,复合成核剂5.5kg(其中P2505.5kg),成核促进剂1kg,抗氧剂10100.3kg,1680.6kg,润滑剂CBT 0.4kg;然后在高速混合机中混合10min。混合均匀的料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,控制各段温度在:一区:210℃;二区:220℃;三区:230℃;四区:240℃;五区:250℃;六区:240℃;七区:240℃;八区:230℃;机头温度:250℃,螺杆转速400r/min,将玻璃纤维10kg从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒,最后包袋成玻纤增强PET/PBT合金成品。
实施例五
将PET和PBT在110℃下干燥4小时,其余的助剂在70℃下干燥2小时。称取PET 39kg,PBT 10kg,溴化环氧树脂8kg,三氧化二锑3.7kg,相容剂3.5kg,复合成核剂3.5kg(其中P2500.5kg,滑石粉3kg),成核促进剂1kg,抗氧剂10100.3kg,1680.6kg,润滑剂CBT 0.4kg;然后在高速混合机中混合10min。混合均匀的料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,控制各段温度在:一区:210℃;二区:220℃;三区:230℃;四区:240℃;五区:250℃;六区:240℃;七区:240℃;八区:230℃;机头温度:250℃,螺杆转速320r/min,将玻璃纤维30kg从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒,最后包袋成玻纤增强PET/PBT合金成品。
实施例六
将PET和PBT在110℃下干燥4小时,其余的助剂在70℃下干燥2小时。称取PET 20kg,PBT 30kg,溴化环氧树脂7kg,三氧化二锑3.7kg,相容剂3.5kg,复合成核剂3.5kg(其中P2500.5kg,滑石粉3kg),成核促进剂1kg,抗氧剂10100.3kg,1680.6kg,润滑剂CBT 0.4kg;然后在高速混合机中混合10min。混合均匀的料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,控制各段温度在:一区:210℃;二区:220℃;三区:230℃;四区:240℃;五区:250℃;六区:240℃;七区:240℃;八区:240℃;机头温度:250℃,螺杆转速320r/min,将玻璃纤维30kg从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒,最后包袋成玻纤增强PET/PBT合金成品。
将实施例一至六的PET/PBT合金注塑成标准试样,测试性能如下表1所示:

从上表1可以看出,本发明制得的PET/PBT合金,在拉伸强度、断裂伸长度、弯曲模量、弯曲强度和冲击强度方面的力学性能比较好、尺寸稳定、低翘曲;热变形温度比较高,而且表面光泽良好;在纵向/横向的成型收缩率比较低,结晶速率也比较快;垂直燃烧性能都在V0以上,阻燃效果好;完全融合了PBT和PET的优点,可以应用于电子电器、汽车等领域,且在一定的场合下完全可以用本发明的PBT/PET合金来替代电木粉的使用,能克服电木粉的缺点,且表面质感能与电木粉一样。

Claims (10)

1.一种阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于,按质量百分含量由以下组分组成:
PBT           10~42%
PET           10~42%
卤素阻燃剂    7~12%
三氧化二锑    3~5%
相容剂        3~10%
抗氧剂        0.3~0.9%
成核促进剂    0.5~1%
复合成核剂    3~8%
玻璃纤维      10~30%
加工助剂      0.4~1%。
2.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:PET为中高等粘度的树脂,特性粘度0.83~0.92分升/克;PBT为中高等粘度的树脂,特性粘度0.98~1.1分升/克。
3.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:卤素阻燃剂为分子量20000~25000的溴化环氧树脂或5%PBT为载体的溴化聚苯乙烯母粒。
4.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:相容剂为乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物EMA或乙烯-丙烯酸甲酯-甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯共聚物中的一种。
5.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:抗氧剂由主抗氧剂四[β-(3,5-二叔丁基-4-羟基苯基)丙酸]季戊四醇酯和辅助抗氧剂亚磷酸三(2·4-二叔丁基苯基)酯混合而成。
6.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:成核促进剂为有机成核促进剂。
7.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:复合成核剂由Bruggemann P250和3500目的滑石粉混合而成。
8.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:玻璃纤维为无碱长纤,直径为:9~14μm。
9.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金,其特征在于:加工助剂为对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯的环状低聚物。
10.一种如权利要求1至9任一权利要求所述的阻燃玻纤增强PET/PBT合金的制备方法,其特征在于,包括:
步骤一、按权利要求1所述的质量百分含量称取各组分,并将称取的PET及PBT在110~130℃温度下干燥时间4小时以上,其他组分在60~80℃温度下干燥2小时以上;
步骤二、将干燥处理后的PET、PBT、卤素阻燃剂、三氧化二锑、相容剂、抗氧剂、成核促进剂、复合成核剂及加工助剂放入高速混合机中混合,在常温下搅拌5~15min;
步骤三、将步骤二混合后的物料加入到双螺杆挤出机的料斗中,将玻璃纤维从双螺杆中段的玻纤加入口加入,经熔融共混挤出、水冷、风干、切粒;
其中,双螺杆挤出机的温度设置为:一区:200~210℃;二区:210~220℃;三区:220~230℃;四区:230~240℃;五区:240~250℃;六区:240~250℃;七区:240~250℃;八区:250~260℃;机头温度:240~250℃;螺杆转速控制在200~400r/min。
