技术领域
本公开内容涉及一种用于压缩模制塑料制品的机器,所述塑料制品诸如闭合壳体或闭合壳体内的密封衬里。
背景技术
用于压缩模制闭合壳体或压缩模制闭合壳体内的密封衬里的机器典型地包括绕竖直轴线旋转的转塔或转盘。多个模具绕着转塔的外围以沿着平行于转塔旋转轴线的竖直轴线对齐的阳模具部分和阴模具部分的形式设置。凸轮在打开的位置和关闭的位置之间驱动每对模具部分中的一个或两个,在打开的位置处模制零件从模具脱模并且熔融塑料材料的装料被放入模具中,在关闭的位置处模具部分集合在一起以便压缩模制壳体或衬里。在衬里机中,当模具部分打开时,预制的闭合壳体被放入模穴中,并且在模具关闭前,衬里材料的装料或球材被放在模具中。说明了这类用于压缩模制塑料闭合壳体的机器的美国专利包括5,670,100、5,989,007、6,074,583和6,478,568。说明了这类用于在闭合壳体中压缩模制密封衬里的机器的美国专利包括5,451,360。美国专利6,123,880公开了一种压缩模制机器,其中,每个模具具有径向排列的模具腔,模具装料由单个放置机构放到这些模具腔中。

图1至4示出了根据本公开内容的示例性实施例的用于压缩模制塑料制品的机器20。机器20包括安装在基座24上用于绕竖直轴线26旋转的转塔22。多个压缩模具28绕转塔22的外围放置。压缩模具28包括安装成在第一路径40(图2)中随转塔22运动的第一列压缩模具28a以及安装成在第二路径42中随转塔22运动的独立的第二列压缩模具28b。路径40、42在本实施例中为圆形路径,但是可为闭合的非圆形路径。每个模具包括沿着平行于轴线26的竖直轴线相互对齐的阳模具部分30和阴模具部分32。能够由相对于基座24承载在固定位置的凸轮34、36,或者由液压或其他适合的致动装置在打开的位置和关闭的位置之间驱动模具部分30、32中的一个或两个。
布置模具装料放置机构38以便在模具部分30、32相对于彼此打开时且在模具按顺序经过模具装料放置机构38附近时将熔融塑料的装料放在每个模具中。在图1至4的实施例中,模具路径40、42相对于转塔轴线26彼此径向隔开,且优选地为阴模具部分32在模具打开位置处于相同平面中以接收模具装料,如图3和4所示。第一模具装料放置机构38a布置接近第一路径40从而将模具装料按顺序放入模具列28a中,第二模具装料放置机构38b布置接近第二路径42从而将模具装料按顺序放入模具列28b的路径42中。模具装料放置机构38a、38b中的每一个独立于另一个地操作,且优选地为上面引用的美国专利7,247,014中所公开的类型。然而,其他模具装料放置机构可以采用。
参照图3,模具装料放置机构38a优选地包括由支座46承载的一对在直径上相对的拾取杯44。支座46联接到合适的机构48,用于绕优选地平行于转塔轴线26(图1)的轴线旋转该支座。挤压机50提供塑料挤出物流,优选地为连续流,刀52将挤出物流切成单独的模具装料,这些单独的模具装料由杯44从躺在挤压机50上面的位置按顺序运送到躺在列28a的阴模具部分32上面的位置。刀52被驱动与支座46的旋转同步,继而被驱动与转塔22(图1)的旋转同步。除了拾取杯44设置成将模具装料按顺序放入模具列28b的阴模具部分32之外,图4所示的模具装料放置机构38b优选地与模具装料放置机构38a相同。
图5和6示出了本公开内容的第二示例性实施例,其中,第一列压缩模具28c和第二列压缩模具28d安装在转塔22(图1)上,用于运动经过沿转塔轴线26的方向相互隔开的各自路径。这些路径在图5中示出,沿竖直转塔轴线的方向看这些路径是对齐的,且在图6中示出这些路径是竖直隔开的。模具路径既可径向隔开,又可轴向隔开。模具装料放置机构38a、38b布置接近各自的模具路径,并且如图2至4所示实施例那样相互独立地操作。
本公开内容因此具有的优点在于,在给定转塔上有效地使模制的塑料制品的产量翻倍,可独立操作的模具装料放置机构具有的优点在于,这些机构中的一个可关闭以维护或修理,而转塔继续生产模制的塑料制品。已经结合两个示例性实施例呈现了本公开内容,并且讨论了多个修改和变化。本领域技术人员根据前面的讨论将容易想到其他修改和变化。例如,图2至4和图5至6的实施例可结合以提供具有竖直隔开和径向隔开的模具路径的转塔以及提供四个相互独立操作的模具装料放置机构。

Claims (6)

1.一种用于压缩模制塑料制品的机器,包括:
构造成用于绕竖直轴线(26)旋转的转塔(22),
第一列(28a或28c)压缩模具和第二列(28b或28d)压缩模具,该第一列压缩模具和第二列压缩模具安装在所述转塔上,用于绕所述竖直轴线运动经过各自的第一和第二模具路径(40、42),
第一模具装料放置机构(38a),其布置接近所述第一路径从而将模具装料按顺序放入所述第一列模具中,以及
第二模具装料放置机构(38b),其布置接近所述第二路径从而独立于所述第一机构将模具装料按顺序放入所述第二列模具中。
2.根据权利要求1所述的机器,其特征在于,所述第一和第二路径(40、42)相互隔开。
3.根据权利要求2所述的机器,其特征在于,所述第一和第二模具路径(40、42)在所述竖直轴线的径向上相互隔开。
4.根据权利要求2所述的机器,其特征在于,所述第一和第二模具路径(40、42)沿所述竖直轴线的方向相互隔开。
5.根据权利要求2所述的机器,其特征在于,所述第一和第二路径(40、42)为圆形。
6.根据权利要求1所述的机器,其特征在于,所述模具装料放置机构(38a、38b)中的每一个包括用于将挤出物流切成单独的模具装料的刀(52),用于接收所述模具装料的拾取器(44),以及用于使所述拾取器运动到将模具装料按顺序释放到模具中的位置上的支座(46)。
