背景技术
许多不同的电器使用可充电电池组供电。例如,电钻、电锯以及其他电动工具通常使用可充电电池组供电。用户可以拥有一个以上的可充电电池组,从而可以在对用过的电池组进行充电时安装电力充沛的电池组。
虽然可充电电池组可以满足所需,但不可能更换到电力完全充满的电池组。另外,用户可能会处在不能充电的状况下,例如宿营。
发明内容

根据一种实施方式,电器接受多种不同的独立的电源。例如,电器可以容纳可充电电池组或被设计为容纳一次性电池的供电盒(power cartridge)。如果用户的电池组中没有足够的剩余电量,可以将一次性干电池放入所述供电盒并将所述供电盒插入所述电器以供电。
根据一种实施方式,另一种独立的供电盒可以包括燃料电池。该燃料电池供电盒可以包括可拆卸的燃料盒,例如,每个可拆卸的燃料盒中都具有燃料(例如氢)。

根据一种实施方式,多种不同的独立的电源或供电盒设置为容纳在电器中并被电器使用。在附图中显示的实施方式中,电器为提灯20,但是其他电器也可以使用本发明。作为非限定性的例子,电动工具例如电钻或电锯可以使用本文说明的多种独立的电源。另外,其他便携式电器例如手电筒、便携式冰箱、便携式电扇和泵也可以使用所述多种电源。
本文使用的“独立的”供电盒或电源是不依赖于外部电源而自身提供电流的供电盒或电源。例如,独立的电源不需要插到AC输出口以供电。
在附图中显示的实施方式中,提灯20包括用于容纳供电盒例如可充电供电盒24的空腔22。该空腔22包括接点(未显示,但属于本领域公知的),该接点用于在将可充电供电盒24插入空腔22时接合可充电供电盒24上的接点26。
可充电供电盒(例如可充电供电盒24)是公知的并通常被称为“可充电电池组”。因此,在此不说明其详细结构和组成。例如,可充电供电盒24可以使用SLA(密封铅酸电池)、NiMH(镍氢电池)、NiCd(镍镉电池)或锂离子可充电电池。
图2中显示了可充电供电盒24的底侧。可充电供电盒24包括插孔27和灯28。灯28可以用于例如显示可充电供电盒24已充满电。插孔27用于容纳适配器插头30,以对可充电供电盒24充电。适配器插头30可以连接到例如AC/DC适配器31(参见图3)或12伏车用适配器32(参见图4)。
可充电供电盒24形成为安装在空腔22内,并可以卡扣或锁止在所述空腔内。在可选择的实施方式中,可充电供电盒24可以安装在电器的外侧,可充电供电盒24可以包括安装在位于电器上的凹陷内的凸起,或者可充电供电盒24可以通过其他方式连接到电器。但是,通常来说,可充电供电盒24包括接点(例如接点26),该接点与位于电器上的接点接合,所述可充电供电盒可以通过所述接点向电器供电。
根据一种实施方式,如图5和图6所示,设置有可以替代可充电供电盒24的一次性电池供电盒33。优选地,一次性电池供电盒33包括类似于接点26的接点。此外,一次性电池供电盒33的尺寸优选为与可充电供电盒24的尺寸类似或与可充电供电盒24的尺寸相同,从而使得一次性电池供电盒33也能够安装在提灯20的空腔22中。如果为可充电供电盒24设置锁止件或卡扣件,则也可以为一次性电池供电盒33设置类似的锁止件或卡扣件。
从图6中可以看出,一次性电池供电盒33包括铰接盖34,铰接盖34关闭时可以通过紧固件36(参见图5)和/或卡扣件连接。铰接盖34关闭用于次性电池供电盒33的室38。室38被设计为用于容纳一次性干电池40,例如四节D型一次性干电池(D-cell disposable battery)。一次性电池供电盒33可以被设计为能够安装任意数量的电池,包括只安装一节电池。
当铰接盖34关闭时,室38内的电池40通过传统的电路连接到位于一次性电池供电盒33的外侧上的接点。另外,如果需要的话,所述一次性电池供电盒可以包括变阻器或其他适当的装置,以调节通过一次性电池供电盒33向位于一次性电池供电盒33的外侧上的接点提供的电流。
在一种实施方式中,一次性电池供电盒33通过四节一次性干电池40提供6伏电压。在一种实施方式中,6伏电压也是可充电供电盒24的正常工作电压。因此,可以从提灯20上拆卸下可充电供电盒24并用一次性电池供电盒33代替,而不需要更换提灯20。通过这种方式,用户可以具有容易获得的另一供电盒,而不必充电和/或拥有额外的可充电供电盒24。当对可充电供电盒24充电时,用户可以使用一次性电池供电盒33。可选择地,用户可以继续使用一次性电池供电盒33并在需要时更换干电池40。另外,用户可以选择在电器(例如提灯20)中仅使用干电池40。
根据另一种实施方式,如图7和图8所示,电器(例如提灯20)中可以使用燃料电池供电盒44。燃料电池供电盒44包括壳体46,燃料电池(未显示)安装在该壳体46内。众所周知,燃料电池是电化学转换装置。燃料电池通过各种外部燃料(位于阳极侧)和氧化剂(位于阴极侧)产生电。这些燃料和氧化剂在电解质的作用下反应。只要保持必要的流量,燃料电池就能够良好、连续地工作。
在附图中显示的实施方式中,燃料电池通过可填充燃料盒48提供燃料。该可填充燃料盒48可以包括例如用于向燃料电池供电盒44供电的氢燃料。例如,可填充燃料盒48可以是金属氢化物(metal hydride)盒,以用于储存特别是在聚合物电解质膜(polymer electrolyte membrane(PEM))型燃料电池中使用的氢,或者用于储存特别是在直接甲醇燃料电池(direct methanolfuel cell(DMFC))型燃料电池中使用的甲醇/水混合物。
在附图中显示的实施方式中,燃料电池供电盒44可以设置在提灯20的空腔22内,以向所述提灯供电。因此,燃料电池供电盒44可以为电器例如提灯20提供可供选择的电源。
可以设置其他电源,包括直接连接到AC电源的供电盒(例如插头)。然而,本文中描述的独立的电源的优点在于使用该独立的电源的电器可以非常方便地携带,而不用受限于AC电源。
另外,根据一种实施方式,电器(例如提灯20)可以形成为能够容纳不同尺寸的供电盒和/或电源。例如,提灯20可以具有与空腔22分隔开的开口,该开口的尺寸设计为能够直接容纳一次性的干电池。可选择地,空腔22的尺寸可以设计为能够直接容纳一次性的干电池。

Claims (11)

1.一种电器,该电器包括:
空腔,该空腔包括用于所述电器的电接点;
可充电电池,该可充电电池包括第一接点,所述可充电电池安装在所述空腔内且所述第一接点连接到所述电接点,从而使得所述可充电电池向所述电器供电;以及
供电盒,该供电盒包括第二接点,所述供电盒被设计为容纳一次性干电池,所述供电盒安装在所述空腔内且所述第二接点连接到所述电接点以向所述电器供电。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电器,所述电器还包括燃料电池供电盒,该燃料电池供电盒包括燃料电池和第三接点,所述燃料电池供电盒安装在所述空腔内且所述第三接点连接到所述电接点以向所述电器供电。
3.根据权利要求1所述的电器,其中,所述供电盒包括用于容纳多个一次性干电池的室。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电器,其中,所述空腔包括与其连接的第一锁止件,所述可充电电池和所述供电盒各自包括第二锁止件,所述第一锁止件和所述第二锁止件配合以分别可松开地将所述可充电电池和所述供电盒锁止到所述空腔内。
5.一种用于电器的电源,所述电器包括用于容纳可充电电池组且包括电接点的空腔,所述电源包括:
供电盒,该供电盒包括第二接点,所述供电盒被设计为容纳一次性干电池,所述供电盒安装在所述空腔内且所述第二接点连接到所述电接点以向所述电器供电。
