Abstract

Description

医用植入物
本发明涉及植入物(implant),特别地股骨植入物(femoralimplant)。
股骨植入物典型地与切除的股骨通过股骨植入物的柄(stem)与在股骨的髓管内准备好的腔体之间的摩擦配合(friction fit)而连接。髓管通常为了制作关于植入物柄(implant stem)的尺寸较小的腔体以提供适合的摩擦配合而被去除。然而,单独的摩擦配合不能保证稳定性并且该柄可以在使用期间使自身松掉而导致对股骨的损伤和需要手术修正。
为了提高植入物的稳定性可以使用接合剂(cement)将柄固定在髓管内形成的腔体内。然而,接合剂的使用具有已有文献记载的缺点并且常常不是外科医生的优选方法。
因此本发明的目的是提供带有与常规植入物相比提高的稳定性的植入物并且其不依赖通过单独的摩擦配合或接合剂固定到腔体内的柄。
根据本发明的第一方面,提供有包括具有开口的空心本体的植入物,该本体具有内表面和外表面,其中该本体的内表面具有使骨内生长(in-growth)的表面结构。
本发明具有本体的内表面为骨内生长提供表面的优点,其引起与常规植入物相似的稳定性,而不需要使用接合剂将该本体固定到骨。
根据本发明的实施例,使该本体的内表面成形以使骨能够内生长。这意味着内表面具有允许骨内生长的表面结构(纹理)。表面结构可配置使得它促进骨的内生长。优选地,表面结构至少是部分多孔的。

Claims (30)

1.一种植入物,包括具有开口的空心本体,所述本体具有内表面和外表面,其中所述本体的内表面具有使骨能够内生长的表面结构。
2.如权利要求1所述的植入物,其中所述内表面至少部分覆盖有突出部。
3.如权利要求2所述的植入物,其中所述内表面的大部分没有突出部。
4.如权利要求2所述的植入物,其中所述内表面的大部分覆盖有突出部。
5.如权利要求2所述的植入物,其中基本上所述内表面的全部覆盖有突出部。
6.如权利要求1至4中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述内表面至少部分地覆盖有凹部。
7.如权利要求2至6中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述突出部至少部分以小珠的形式。
8.如权利要求1-7中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述本体至少部分是弧形的。
9.如权利要求8所述的植入物,其中所述内表面至少部分是凹的。
10.如权利要求8或9所述的植入物,其中所述外表面至少部分是凸的。
11.如权利要求8至10中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述本体是部分球形的。
12.如权利要求11所述的植入物,其中所述本体至少部分是半球形的。
13.如权利要求11或12所述的植入物,其中所述本体是多于半球形的。
14.如权利要求11至13中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述本体包含球形的50-75%。
15.如权利要求1-14中任一项所述的植入物,还包括与所述本体的所述内表面连接的柄。
16.如权利要求15所述的植入物,其中所述柄延伸穿过所述本体内的所述开口。
17.如权利要求15或16所述的植入物,其中所述柄与所述本体固定连接。
18.如权利要求15或16所述的植入物,其中所述柄与所述本体可移除地连接。
19.如权利要求18所述的植入物,其中所述本体和柄具有对应的螺纹。
20.如权利要求15至19中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述柄的主轴线与所述本体内的所述开口的中心共线。

22.如权利要求1所述的植入物,其中所述表面结构包括涂层。
23.如权利要求2至21中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述突出部包括涂层。
24.如权利要求22或23所述的植入物,其中所述涂层刺激骨内生长。
25.如权利要求22至24中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述涂层包括羟基磷灰石。
26.如权利要求15至25中任一项所述的植入物,其中所述柄由从由塑料、金属、陶瓷和可吸收材料组成的组中选择的材料制成。
27.大致上如在上文中参考附图说明的植入物。
28.一种植入的方法,包括:
准备在骨管中具有可选的腔体的切除的骨;
提供如权利要求1至27中任一项所述的植入物;
植入所述植入物。
