Abstract
本发明是有关于一种光极性模块和系统,该光互连模块(60)包括:一外壳,限定壁部与上述壁部中的一腔体,用以容纳和支撑光纤(21-32)和连接器(40);一光互连部,形成于上述模块的一壁中,上述光互连部具有一多芯连接器(40),其中形成有多条光路,该些光路通常与紧邻于至少一条其他光路的光路排列为平面阵列,以与光纤带(20)中的光纤光对齐;一光连接器站(51-56),形成于上述模块的一壁中,其具有数个光纤连接器;上述光路和上述光连接器通过设置于上述腔体中的光纤而光互连,光纤对由光纤形成,至少一个光纤对路由到各连接器站,该连接器站与上述光路进行光通信。

发明名称:光极性模块和系统的分案申请。
技术领域
本发明涉及一种光纤互连模块,例如用于局域网(LAN)的互连模块。
背景技术
现有的光缆包括光纤,其传导用于传送声音、视频和数据信息的光。光纤带包括一组用带状常用层包裹的光纤。该常用层可以为紫外(UV)光可固型。典型地,这样的带状常用层伸出于一组单个染色排成平面阵列的光纤周围,然后用固化带状常用层的紫外光源照射。该固化的带状常用层保护光纤,并且通常将各光纤位置排成平面阵列。光纤带可以连到多芯连接器,例如,MTP连接器。MTP连接器可以应用于局域网,例如,数据中心以及服务器之间并行的光互连。
本发明着手于局域网环境中MTP连接器的光纤光互连解决方案。现有的组网解决方案,应用的是12芯MTP连接器组件,例如,配置于点对点系统中。光纤极性,即基于系统中一给定光纤的发送到接收的功能,通过在插入环氧树脂插头中的MTP连接器之前,在组件的一端翻转(flip)光纤,或者通过提供“A”和“B”型断开(break-out)模块来处理,其中光纤在“B”模块被翻转,直立于“A”模块中。
当MTP组件用于互连构建时,会发生系统问题。当MTP组件互连时,光纤极性从系统中撤销。图1所示为现有的模块“A”,具有按以下方式匹配的六个光纤对:1-2;3-4;5-6;7-8;9-10;和11-12。所有的光纤对定义为光纤带中一条光纤和至少一个紧邻的其他光纤。将紧邻的光纤对路由到模块A中的多芯或者单芯连接器13,1与2紧邻,3靠近4,等等。模块A应用于一使用“A”和“B”型模块方法的系统中,在该方法中,在模块“B”中的光纤根据模块A进行翻转以定位或者校正光纤极性。现有的MTP连接器是的连接方式是键向上与键向下相互配对(keyuptokeydown)。
在一种减少实施困扰的尝试中,具有“A”和“B”模块方法的复杂性和堆积问题,或者在插入连接器之前的光纤翻转,因此得出了本发明在光纤序列中的模块配线的方法。根据本发明的模块布线,减少了对“A”和“B”模块方法的需要,其中根据本发明的模块广泛用于该系统中。
由此可见,上述现有的光极性模块和系统在结构与使用上,显然仍存在有不便与缺陷,而亟待加以进一步改进。为了解决光极性模块和系统存在的问题,相关厂商莫不费尽心思来谋求解决之道,但长久以来一直未见适用的设计被发展完成,而一般产品又没有适切的结构能够解决上述问题,此显然是相关业者急欲解决的问题。因此如何能创设一种新型结构的光极性模块和系统,便成了当前业界极需改进的目标。
有鉴于上述现有的光极性模块和系统存在的缺陷,本发明人基于从事此类产品设计制造多年丰富的实务经验及专业知识,并配合学理的运用,积极加以研究创新,以期创设一种新型结构的光极性模块和系统,能够改进一般现有的光极性模块和系统,使其更具有实用性。经过不断的研究、设计,并经反复试作样品及改进后,终于创设出确具实用价值的本发明。
发明内容
本发明与现有技术相比具有明显的优点和有益效果。本发明的技术内容如下:一种光纤互连模块,具有:一外壳,限定壁部和壁部中容纳和支撑光纤以及连接器的腔体;一光互连部,形成于上述模块的一个壁部中,该光互连部具有一多芯连接器,其中形成多条光路,该些光路通常与紧邻于至少一条其他光路的光路排列为平面阵列,以与光纤带中的光纤光对齐;一光连接器站,形成于有数个光纤连接器的模块的一个壁中;上述光路和光连接器通过放置于上述腔体中的光纤进行光互连,由光纤形成的光纤对,至少一个光纤对路由到与上述光路通信的各连接器站。另一方面,一种光组件,具有:至少两个光纤互连模块;该些模块由光路进行光互连,该些光路通过连接器和具有位于连接器上相同位置上的各键(keys)的适配器建立,以及光纤带;上述连接器和适配器用在相同的相对位置的键(keys)进行匹配;且外置于模块的光纤的极性不相反。
综上所述,本发明特殊结构的光极性模块和系统,其具有上述诸多的优点及实用价值,并在同类产品中未见有类似的结构设计公开发表或使用而确属创新,其不论在产品结构或功能上皆有较大的改进,在技术上有较大的进步,并产生了好用及实用的效果,且较现有的光极性模块和系统具有增进的多项功效,从而更加适于实用,而具有产业广泛利用价值,诚为一新颖、进步、实用的新设计。
上述说明仅是本发明技术方案的概述,为了能够更清楚了解本发明的技术手段,而可依照说明书的内容予以实施,并且为了让本发明的上述和其他目的、特征和优点能够更明显易懂,以下特举较佳实施例,并配合附图,详细说明如下。

具体实施方式
为更进一步阐述本发明为达成预定发明目的所采取的技术手段及功效,以下结合附图及较佳实施例,对依据本发明提出的光极性模块和系统其具体实施方式、结构、特征及其功效,详细说明如后。
本发明的一实施例是使用一光组网模块,具有光纤带,例如具有12根光纤,连接到MTP或者MPO光连接器。图2所示为本发明一示例性模块60。模块60与光纤带20光相关连,光纤带20,例如具有放置于一矩阵中的12根不同颜色的光纤21-32。
模块60包括一外壳,限定壁部61和壁部中容纳和支撑光纤和连接器的腔体62。
模块60还包括一具有光连接器的光互连部。优选的连接器为MTP或MPO连接器40。连接器40为环氧树脂和打磨的可兼容多芯连接器,例如,CorningCableSystem‘LANScape(注册商标)解决方案系列。环氧树脂和打磨连接器为在小空间内获得高密度的12芯连接器,其包括多条光路,该些光路通常排列为平面阵列。该些光路与至少一条其他光路紧邻,以与光纤带中的光纤光对齐。MTP连接器设计为多模式或单模式应用,并使用推/拉设计以易于匹配和去除。MTP连接器可以与现有的SC有同样大小,但是提供12倍的纤密度,有利地节省了成本和空间。MTP连接器包括一键(Key),用于适当定位,以与任意所需的光适配器配准。光连接器适配器41(图3-4)可以设置于模块外部的连接器与模块内部的连接器之间。但是可以使用其他的连接方案。首选的是,使用一带状分支(fan-out)工具从模块内部的连接器与连接器站之间管理光纤。
请参阅图2所示,为一示例性光纤配线方案,用于将光纤从连接器20路由到位于连接器站51-56的单芯或多芯连接器,连接器站51-56限定在模块60的分线部(break-outsection)50。每个连接器站51-56优选地包括一个或者多个连接器。在模块中,一种示例性路由方案如下:1号光纤(蓝色)与12号光纤(浅绿色)配对;2号光纤(橙色)与11号光纤(玫瑰红色)配对;3号光纤(绿色)与10号光纤(紫色)配对,剩下的号/颜色的光纤为最后的一对,为6号光纤(白色)与7号光纤(红色)。请参阅图2所示,光纤对定义如下:21-32;22-31;23-30;24-29;25-28;26-27。至少一对,但是优选的是路由到各连接器站51-56的至少80%的光纤对是由光纤带20中非紧邻的光纤产生的。换句话说,连接器40的光路和连接器站51-56处的光连接器是通过放置于模块60的腔体62中的光纤进行光互连,光纤对由光纤形成。至少其中一个光纤对与连接器40中的各光路进行光通信,并路由到各连接器站,从光路中选择的至少两条光路是彼此不紧邻的光路。优选的是上述80%的光纤对可以与从彼此不紧邻的光路中选择的光路进行光互连。
使用本发明的模块,在网络中的组件互连是可以拆开的,例如在局域网中。组件的多段可以互连。为了极性校正,在MTP的一端部之前的在主干组件中翻转的光纤,不必然导致复杂性/成本的减少。最后,在模块中常用的束线(wiredharness)减少了在网络中对两种不同类型断开模块的需要。由一个或多个MTP或MPO主干(trunk)组件和一个(通用的)类型的分线线束(breakoutharness)(加入模块中或独自使用)组成。例如,两个MPO连接器经由一个MPO适配器匹配,而每个MPO的键(key)在相同的相对位置,即,键向上(keyup)或键向下(keydown)。图3和图4分别所示为示例性系统80、90,应用根据本发明的模块60,该系统概念包括MTP或具有相关的适配器的MPO连接器40,和光纤带20。在连接器站50的所有MPO连接器40和双芯连接器用键41a在相同位置匹配,即,所有键41a向上或所有键41a向下。在系统80、90中,极性不相反,1到12号光纤在模块之间不翻转。换句话说,在适配器或模块之间其他位置的光路不翻转。例如,光路保持其颜色,蓝色与蓝色在一起(1-1),橙色与橙色(2-2),绿色与绿色(3-3)等。从一个模块到另一模块,包括模块60外部的连接器40。
为了实现在缆线系统中的反光纤带定位,可以采用以下步骤:
a)给已有的光纤带中的每根光纤分配一序号,如上所述。
b)如图3中所示,如下安装MPO连接器:
1)在缆线的一端,将光纤带装入连接器,光纤从左到右的顺序号为(例如,1,2,3,4……12),且键向上(keyup)
2)在缆线的另一端,将光纤带装入连接器,光纤从左到右的逆序号为(例如,12,11,10,9……1),且键向上(keyup)
将带状缆线转接到多双工系统,完成反光纤对(reversepair)定位。这种转接可以通过转接模块或转接组件(如图3-4所示)实现,具有MPO连接到双芯连接器或者双工单芯连接器。如果使用转接组件,光纤在连接器中定位的实现与在各模块中的实现相同。
以上所述,仅是本发明的较佳实施例而已,并非对本发明作任何形式上的限制,虽然本发明已以较佳实施例揭露如上,然而并非用以限定本发明,任何熟悉本专业的技术人员,在不脱离本发明技术方案范围内,当可利用上述揭示的结构及技术内容作出些许的更动或修饰为等同变化的等效实施例,但是凡是未脱离本发明技术方案的内容,依据本发明的技术实质对以上实施例所作的任何简单修改、等同变化与修饰,均仍属于本发明技术方案的范围内。
Claims (8)
1.一种光互连模块,其特征在于其包括:
一多芯连接器,其中形成有多条光路,所述多条光路以平面阵列的方式排列,其中所述多条光路的每条光路紧邻所述多条光路的至少一条其他光路;
多条光带光纤,与该多芯连接器的多条光路进行光通讯;以及
多个光纤连接器,置于该多芯连接器的相反端,该多个光纤连接器形成多对光路以接收该多条光带光纤;
其中,所述光带光纤是分离并在所述多芯连接器形成的所述光路以及所述多个光纤连接器形成的多对光路间被路由;以及
其中,由所述多个光纤连接器形成的所述多个光路对中的至少一对光路中的光纤,是从置于所述多芯连接器形成的彼此不紧邻的所述多条光路中的光纤中选择。
2.根据权利要求1所述的光互连模块,其特征在于其中至少80%由所述多个光纤连接器形成的所述多个光路对的所述光纤,是从置于所述多芯连接器形成的彼此不紧邻的所述多条光路中的所述光纤中选择。
3.根据权利要求1所述的光互连模块,其特征在于其中所述的多条光纤被编号为1至X,其中X是所述光带中的所述多条光纤总数,所述光纤按照从1至X的数字顺序连接到所述多芯连接器,并且所述光纤外部成对的连接到连续的所述多个光纤连接器:1与X,2与X-1,以此类推,直到所有的所述光纤都成对匹配,并且其中X等于12。
4.根据权利要求3所述的光互连模块,其特征在于所述光纤连接器中的6个被用来定义6对光路。
5.根据权利要求1所述的光互连模块,其特征在于其中所述的多个光纤连接器包含至少一多芯连接器。
6.一种实现在缆线系统中反光纤带定位的方法,其特征在于其包含以下步骤:
为一光带的每一光纤顺序编号;
将所述光带的一端装入一多芯连接器,并使所述光带的所述光纤的编号顺序从左到右分布;以及
将所述光带的另一端装入多个光纤连接器,并使所述光带的所述光纤的编号顺序反转的从左到右分布,
其中所述的多芯连接器和每一所述多个光纤连接器用键在相同位置匹配,其中所述相同位置是键向上或者键向下。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方法,其特征在于,
形成于所述多芯连接器并且以平面阵列的方式排列的多条光路,其中所述多条光路的每条光路紧邻所述多条光路的至少一条其他光路;
所述多个光纤连接器定义多对光路;以及
安装于由所述多个光纤连接器形成的所述多个光路对中的至少一对光路中的光纤,是从置于所述多芯连接器形成的彼此不紧邻的所述多条光路中的光纤中选择。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于其中至少80%安装于由所述多个光纤连接器形成的所述多个光路对的所述光纤,是从置于所述多芯连接器形成的彼此不紧邻的所述多条光路中的所述光纤中选择。
