Abstract

Description
背景技术
粉末涂覆是一种方法,其中的树脂和颜料的微粒带静电,涂施于被涂覆部分的表面然后固化.固化使得颗粒形成高分子量的聚合网状结构.粉末涂覆材料可以是热塑性或热固性的聚合物.
在典型的粉末涂覆方法中工件通过在高架输送机上的粉末涂覆室,然后带负电的颗粒通过静电喷枪喷涂到工件上。负电颗粒将被吸引到工件上,如果工件是导电及接地的.过去,粉末涂覆方法不曾用于诸如中密度纤维板(MDF)、刨花板等非导电的木制品。但是已经发现,这些制品通过预加热使表面吸入水气而能够加工成导电的。因此该带负电的粉末颗粒能够被吸引到预加热的接地MDF工件上。一旦粉末涂覆了工件,涂层就被固化,例如通过在红外炉中加热足够时间以使粉末熔化并形成聚合物网络。当然UV-可固化粉末可以通过暴露在紫外光下固化。
设计考虑之一是在粉末涂覆方法中被涂覆的工件如何安放在输送机上。这对大和/或重的物品如用于贮藏系统的MDF搁板来说是特别严格的。安置系统必须是这样的,使得板材能够易于安放在系统上而且要确保板材不会在操作中移动和掉落。安置系统也必须将任何对工件外表面的划痕或损坏减至最小。
发明内容
本发明提供了一种用于粉末涂覆由MDF或其他刨花板材、木钉板板材制造的搁板以及其他由MDF、木钉板或其他木材制品制造的物品的方法。该方法包括首先将工件安放在装配到高架输送机上的悬挂配件上。工件通过具有至少为200℉并优选从约260℉到约280℉温度的预热炉约15到约30分钟的时间。优选具有的表面温度至少为约100℉到120℉,和优选约105℉到115℉以及更优选约110℉到112℉的预热的工件随后输送通过粉末涂覆室,在该室中将带静电的颗粒喷涂到工件表面上。特别优选的粉末涂覆材料是Dupond PowderCoating,USA销售的Max Gray。然后工件传送通过对流箱,在其中被加热至约300℉到约330℉的温度、优选约350℉约30分钟到约45分钟的时间段以固化涂层。

具体实施方式
悬挂装置10包括一对悬挂杆12,其上端与高架输送机系统14连接,优选悬挂杆12的上端间隔开等于或小于板材30的宽度的距离。杆12具有延长的上部16以及通常是V形的下部18。V形下部的第一边20与上部的底端相连并优选合为一体,形成约0°到约90°的钝角,优选约15°到约45°。V形下部的第二边22具有连接端24和自由端26。第一边和第二边的角度优选约45°到约135°,并优选约90°。
第二边的自由端26被纳入被涂覆的板材30侧表面上的盲孔28中。板材优选由MDF制造,并优选具有至少1/2英寸以及更优选至少约5/8英寸的厚度。当其被悬挂至输送机系统时,每个盲孔28临近板材30的上端32。每个盲孔26从板材通常垂直的侧表面34向内部和向上均匀的延伸,优选以约15°到约85°,如45°角。孔28的直径大于悬挂杆12的直径。角度是经过选择的因此悬挂工具与板材仅在两个地方接触:(1)下部18的第二边22的自由内端的上边缘以及(2)如图26所示,下部18的第一边和第二边20和22之间弯曲的较低外表面。该排列保护了由盲孔28造成的内部拐角40。
优选每个悬挂杆由金属杆的单独部分制造,具有在上部16过渡部分的第一条带36和下部18的第一边20。第二条带38存在于下部18的第一边和第二边20和22的过渡部分。当板材安放在悬挂配件上时,条带36和38是灵活的但仍然保持与板材30的接触,如图2b所示。
可以理解每种避免与板材表面不希望的接触并且包括基本直的能被纳入盲孔的较低自由端的挂钩的设计都希望被应用。
对木钉板板材来说,包括能够插入并通过木钉板上的孔的自由较低端并且将木钉板通常按垂直方向传送的悬挂杆是优选的。
Claims (2)
1.一种粉末涂覆MDF、刨花板和木钉板板材的方法,包括:
将由MDF、刨花板或木钉板制成的板材安放于高架输送机的悬挂装置上;
将安置好的板材传送至预热炉中,在其中板材被预热至约260℉到280℉的温度约15到30分钟;
将预热的安置好的、悬挂(hangar)表面温度约110℉到112℉的板材通过喷涂室,其中将带静电的粉末喷涂到板材上以涂覆该板材;以及
将涂覆的板材在约300℉到330℉的温度下通过固化对流烘箱约30到45分钟,以固化涂层。
2.一种用于粉末涂覆方法的板材和悬挂装置,包括:
基本为矩形的板材具有顶部和底部表面、对立侧表面和对立端面;以及在每个邻近第一端面的侧表面上的盲孔,每个所述盲孔从侧表面中部并向着临近端面延伸,所述盲孔具有第一直径;
一对挂钩,每个挂钩包括一个具有小于第一直径的第二直径的延长杆,每个所述的杆包括延长的上部和下部,下部包括具有收纳在板材盲孔中的自由端的基本直的端部;以及
其中板材这样安置在悬挂配件上,使安置好后,悬挂工具端部和板材之间的仅有的接触位于端部自由端的上表面和临近孔入口的端部的下表面。
