Description

技术领域
本公开涉及柔性显示器,尤其涉及器件和用于在这些器件上形成滤色片的方法。
背景技术
平板显示器包括滤色片以去除来自这种显示器的子像素的光照明中的特定色彩分量。非本征显示器包括显示效果层和滤色层,显示效果层反射或发射宽光谱(白色)的光,且滤色层将白色光变成有色彩的光。需将显示效果层和滤色层正确地对准以避免视差问题或孔径问题。在用这种方式制造服贴式、柔性或甚至是可卷曲显示器时,可能在显示效果层与滤色层之间出现对准问题,因为在弯曲或卷起期间这些层的半径不同。

发明内容
本公开的实施例描述了形成或应用于服贴式、可卷曲或柔性显示器的滤色片。可卷起/柔性色彩显示器具有显示效果层,这种显示效果层反射或发射白色光并与滤色层结合。以卷起方向将这种显示器的有色彩子像素布置成行或列。
这些实施例可包括有源和/或无源矩阵显示器。形成以卷起方向延伸的滤色条带。可按照行电极的方向布置这种滤色片,或者可按照列电极的方向布置这种滤色片,只要这种方向平行于卷起方向。这些条带可与固定条结合,这种固定条沿着垂直于卷起方向的边缘中的一个边缘。这样,固定条就沿着非卷起显示边缘中的一个边缘将显示效果层和滤色层接合在一起。这就将滤色片紧固,而允许在像素层与滤色层之间的移动。

有利的是,滤色层152仅涉及横向于卷起方向140的子像素间距。这就使这些子像素116与这些滤色片之间的对准容易得多。在本发明中,以水平条带布置这些有色彩子像素116。这就涉及行和列在显示器上的布置,并因此而涉及驱动电子装置或背板电子装置所需的性能。
参看图7,可利用固定带172沿着垂直于卷起方向140的边缘中的一个边缘将滤色条带170紧固。固定带172沿着非卷起显示边缘中的一个边缘将显示效果层128和滤色层152接合在一起。正如所描述的那样,通过将这些滤色片图案化成以卷起方向140延伸的连续条带170来避免在显示器弯曲或卷起期间的对准问题所导致的亮度降低和/或色彩误差。基本上消除显示效果层128与滤色层152之间的半径差异,因为消除了这些滤色片与下面的像素之间的未对准。亮度降低或色彩误差将不会出现。
图7示意性地示出了根据一个实施例的RGB(红色、绿色、蓝色)色彩显示器200。不过,也可采用除了RGB以外的其它布置,如RGBW(RGB白色)或CMY(青色、绛红色、黄色)。也可在这些色彩条带170之间采用黑色条带(未示出),以分离或描绘这些条带170。应理解,将包括三个子像素的像素布置在一起,以使三个相邻的行覆盖像素图像所需的三个子像素。这些滤色条带不必连续交替,如RGB;RGB等;而是可采用其它的布置,如RGB,BGR,RGB,以使相同的色彩可相互邻近形成,在此情形中,这些相同的色彩是B和R。这可减少公差并提高可制造性。

Claims (20)

1.一种柔性、可卷曲或服贴式显示器(100),所述显示器(100)包括:
矩阵显示层(115),所述矩阵显示层(115)包括子像素线(116),每条线具有分配给所述线的关联色彩(132、134、136),且每条线沿着卷起或弯曲方向(140)延伸;
显示效果层(128),所述显示效果层(128)在所述矩阵层上形成;
滤色层(152),所述滤色层(152)包括条纹滤色片(154),所述条纹滤色片(154)以所述卷起或弯曲方向延伸,所述条纹滤色片各包括与所述矩阵层中的所述子像素线对应的过滤色彩,以处理由弯曲或卷起所述显示器所导致的未对准和色彩误差。
2.如权利要求1所述的显示器,其中:所述条纹滤色片(154)与所述显示器分开制造并用粘合剂附到所述显示器。
3.如权利要求1所述的显示器,其中:利用光刻术通过淀积和图案化形成所述条纹滤色片(154)。
4.如权利要求1所述的显示器,还包括卷轴(142),所述卷轴(142)配置成将所述显示器卷起。
5.如权利要求1所述的显示器,还包括固定材料(172),所述固定材料(172)涂覆在所述显示器的端部部分,以将所述显示效果层耦合到所述滤色层。
6.如权利要求5所述的显示器,其中:所述固定材料(172)包括条带,所述条带垂直于所述卷起或弯曲方向涂覆在所述滤色层的端部部分。
7.如权利要求5所述的显示器,其中:所述固定材料(172)包括多个点,所述点涂覆在所述滤色层的端部部分。
8.一种柔性可卷曲或服贴式显示器(100),所述显示器(100)包括:
矩阵显示层(115),所述矩阵显示层(115)包括子像素线(116),每条线具有分配给所述线的关联色彩(132、134、136),且每条线沿着卷起或弯曲方向(140)延伸,所述线布置成包括单色彩分量;
显示效果层(128),所述显示效果层(128)在所述矩阵层上形成;
滤色层(154),所述滤色层(154)在所述显示效果层上形成并包括条纹滤色片(152),每个条纹滤色片与对应的子像素线的单色彩分量关联,且形成所述条纹滤色片以覆盖所述子像素线,所述条纹滤色片以所述卷起和弯曲方向延伸,以处理由弯曲或卷起所述显示器导致的未对准和色彩误差。
9.如权利要求8所述的显示器,还包括卷轴(142),所述卷轴(142)配置成将所述显示器卷起。
10.如权利要求8所述的显示器,还包括固定材料(172),所述固定材料(172)涂覆在所述显示器的端部部分,以将所述显示效果层耦合到所述滤色层。
11.如权利要求10所述的显示器,其中:所述固定材料(172)包括条带,所述条带垂直于所述卷起或弯曲方向涂覆在所述滤色层的端部部分。
12.如权利要求10所述的显示器,其中:所述固定材料(172)包括多个点,所述点涂覆在所述滤色层的端部部分。
13.一种用于制造柔性显示器件的方法,所述方法包括:
形成(302)矩阵层,所述矩阵层具有布置成线的子像素,以使线中的每个子像素提供用于给定色彩分量的照明;
在所述矩阵层上形成(303)显示效果层;以及
在所述显示效果层上以卷起或弯曲方向的纵向方向形成(304)滤色条带,每个条带对应于子像素线并覆盖所述子像素线,以减少由于弯曲而导致的未对准和色彩误差。
14.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中:形成(304)滤色条带包括利用光刻术淀积和图案化所述滤色条带。
15.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中:形成(304)所述滤色条带包括喷墨打印所述滤色条带。
16.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中:形成(304)所述滤色条带包括丝网法/光罩,以形成所述滤色条带。
17.如权利要求13所述的方法,其中:形成(304)所述滤色条带包括与所述显示器分开制造所述滤色条带,并用粘合剂将所述滤色条带附到所述显示器。
18.如权利要求13所述的方法,还包括用固定材料紧固(308)所述滤色条带,所述固定材料涂覆在所述显示器的端部部分。
19.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中:所述固定材料(172)包括条带,所述条带垂直于所述卷起方向涂覆在所述滤色条带的端部部分。
20.如权利要求18所述的方法,其中:所述固定材料(172)包括多个点,所述点涂覆在所述滤色条带的端部部分。
