Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及模块化插头,更特别涉及包括滑动锁止件的模块化插头,该滑动锁止件能将该模块化插头锁定到相应插座中,并将其从所述插座解锁。
背景技术
模块化插头和模块化护套常用于在通信系统中互相连接多条导线。各种锁止机构以及类似机构已经研制并包括在电气、数据和/或电话线缆连接件或插头中,用于将所述模块化插头机械连接到相应的互补插座中。通常,为了从插座释放插头,我们必须挤压、按压或以其他方式操纵锁止机构,以便从插座释放模块化插头。
问题在于,在密集封装的插座阵列中,较之操作该阵列周边周围的模块化锁止机构而言,对于连接到该阵列基本上中部位置的插座的模块化插头来说,操作机构遭遇巨大的阻碍和毁损。通常,为了操作锁止机构,并从插座阵列拔下定位在中部的插头,必须首先拔下和/或拆卸模块化插头的周边阵列,从而获得接触定位于中部的插头的锁止机构的足够通道,这种情形并不稀罕。另一个问题可能在于,有时从插座阵列拔下和/或拆卸模块化插头时,模块化插头可能钩在和/或卡在相邻的模块化插头或类似物上。
发明内容
通过本文所公开的模块化插头,这里提供了一种解决方案,该插头具有锁止机构,该锁止机构便于插头连接到相应的插座中和从该插座断开。该模块化插头包括壳体,用来保持多个端子,这些端子可以与匹配插座的触点啮合。所述壳体限定凹腔,该凹腔向所述端子敞开并配置和适配成在其中接收多条导线。所述模块化插头进一步包括滑动锁止件,该锁止件具有与所述壳体整体形成的远端部;配置并适配成与所述壳体操作啮合的近端部;和设置在所述远端部和所述近端部之间的中间部分。所述中间部分限定至少一个弯曲点。相应地,在所述滑动锁止件的所述近端部可操作地连接到所述壳体时,所述滑动锁止件的中间部分限定防卡特征。

具体实施方式
这里公开的模块化插头实施例将参照附图详细说明,其中类似的附图标记指代类似或相同元件。如本文中所用并与惯例相符,术语“远端”指代距离使用者最远的部分,而术语“近端”指代距离使用者最近的部分。此外,诸如“以上”、“以下”、“向前”、“向后”等术语指代附图的取向或部件方向,而且只是用来便于说明。
先参照图1-12,模块化插头(例如,电连接件、数据连接件、电话连接件等),用于选择性地连接到互补的插座(未示出),通常指定为100。模块化插头100可以与插座200(见图13-18)配合,用于互联多条导线(未示出)等。如本文所述,模块化插头100是一种8位置模块化插头,与8条导线通信线缆一起使用。但是,应该理解,本发明还可以应用于其他连接件,它们可以端接到不同数目的导线。
模块化插头100希望用介电材料构成,并包括由彼此选择性地操作关联的第一半部102和第二半部104所限定的壳体。在一种实施例中,如图1、3、12、14所示,第一半部102和第二半部104借助活动铰链103彼此连接。模块化插头100的第一半部102和第二半部104配置并适配成保持多个端子“T”,这些端子并排布置在各狭槽106中。模块化插头100限定凹腔108,该凹腔从模块化插头100的导线接收端110向该模块化插头内部敞开,并在模块化插头100的端子端112穿过狭槽106延伸。
第一半部102包括基部壁102a和一对直立隔开的侧壁102b、102c。基部壁102a包括形成于其中的至少一个纵向延伸的沟槽或狭槽103a,优选包括一对纵向延伸的沟槽或狭槽103a(见图8、9和12)。同时,第一半部102的每个侧壁102b、102c包括形成于其中的各纵向延伸的细长狭槽103b、103c。
如图8-12所示,第二半部104包括基部壁104a和一对直立隔开的侧壁104b、104c。第二半部104的每个侧壁104b、104c包括从其延伸的各凸片、凸起105b、105c等。在第二半部104向下闭合到第一半部102上的时候,每个凸片105b、105c配置和确定尺寸来与形成于第一半部102侧壁102b、102c中的各狭槽103b、103c协作配合。
在操作中,当第二半部104向下闭合到第一半部102上的时候,第二半部104的凸片105b、105c卡入形成于第一半部102中的狭槽103b、103c或以其他方式与之可操作啮合。
如图1-12所示,模块化插头100的第一半部102包括可操作地与其关联的滑动锁止件120。滑动锁止件120包括远端部122,其连接或靠近模块化插头100的端子端112。滑动锁止件120的远端部122相对于第一半部102的基部壁102a成角度向着近端延伸。滑动锁止件120的远端部122限定至少一个肩部122a,优选一对肩部122a,用来啮合插座200(见图13)的表面并用于将模块化插头100与插座200牢固啮合和配合,如图18所示。
滑动锁止件120包括中间部分124,其与远端部122整体连接或与其整体形成。中间部分124包括形成于其中的至少一对弯曲点或集成/活动铰链124a、124b。优选的是,远端弯曲点124a沿着中间部分124的内表面形成,而近端弯曲点124b沿着中间部分124的外表面形成。
滑动锁止件120进一步包括近端部126,其与中间部分124整体连接或与其整体形成。滑动锁止件120的近端部126包括指状夹持件126a,其沿着该锁止件的外表面形成,用来增加人机工程学特性以及便于使用模块化插头100。滑动锁止件12的近端部126进一步包括至少一个燕尾榫或导轨126b,优选包括一对燕尾榫或导轨126b,其从该锁止件内表面纵向延伸。配置燕尾榫126b并确定其尺寸来补充并卡接啮合形成在第一半部102的基部壁102a中的各狭槽或沟槽103a。希望配置燕尾榫126b和沟槽103a和确定其尺寸使得在滑动锁止件120的近端部126可操作地啮合第一半部102时,滑动锁止件120的近端部126可以相对于第一半部102纵向往复滑动,如图7和18中箭头“A”所示。
在使用中,在滑动锁止件120的近端部126可操作地啮合第一半部102时,则滑动锁止件120的中间部分124沿着弯曲点124a、124b折叠或弯折,以限定防卡特征或类似特征。这样,如果牵拉连接有模块化插头100的绳索或线缆而从设备上拆卸线缆,则该防卡特征将使得模块化插头100能通过剩余线缆束(例如塞孔座(nest)或腹板(web),),而不会卡在其上或钩在其上。
模块化插头100可以有选择地连接到插座200,如图13所示。插座200包括壳体202,其限定开口204,该开口204配置并适配成在其中接收模块化插头100的端子端112。具体来说,插座200的开口204限定肩部204a,其配置和适配成在模块化插头100与插座200配合时,啮合模块化插头100的滑动锁止件120的肩部122a。正如通常情况那样,插座200包括多个触点或导体206,它们设置在壳体202中,用于电连接模块化插头100的端子“T”。
如图14-18所示,示出了模块化插头100与插座200配合。为了使模块化插头100与插座200配合,模块化插头100的滑动锁止件120的近端部126连接到模块化插头100的第一半部102。在模块化插头100如此配置的情况下,模块化插头100的端子端112插入插座200的开口204中,或以其他方式引入其中。在模块化插头100与插座200配合时,滑动锁止件120的肩部122a啮合第一半部102,并由开口204的肩部204a向第一半部102推压(cammed)或促动,用于卡接啮合。
为了从插座200拆卸模块化插头100,滑动锁止件120的近端部126向着近端移动,如图18中箭头“A”所示,从沿着模块化插头100的第一半部102的方向移动中间部分124。这样,滑动锁止件120的肩部122a脱离插座200的壳体202的肩部204a,从而允许从插座200拉出模块化插头100。
在向着近端方向移动滑动锁止件120的近端部126之后,向着模块化插头100的第一半部102偏压滑动锁止件120的远端部122。由于滑动锁止件120的近端部126的燕尾榫126b将近端部126保持与模块化插头100的第一半部102啮合,所以在释放滑动锁止件120的近端部126之后,滑动锁止件120的远端部122返回未偏压状态。
应该理解,前述说明仅是特别实施例的公开内容,并不以任何方式限制本发明的范围。其他可能的改动对于本领域技术人员是明显可见的,而且全部改动都由附带的权利要求书所限定。
Claims (5)
1.一种插头(100),包括用于保持多个端子的壳体(102、104),所述端子可以与配合插座的触点啮合,所述壳体限定凹腔(108),该凹腔向所述端子敞开,并配置和适配成在其中接收多条导线,所述插头的特征在于:
滑动锁止件(120),其包括与所述壳体整体形成的远端部(122);配置并适配成与所述壳体操作啮合的近端部(126);和设置在所述远端部和所述近端部之间的中间部分(124),所述中间部分限定至少一个弯曲点(124a、124b),其中在所述滑动锁止件(120)的近端部(126)可操作地连接到所述壳体时,所述滑动锁止件的所述中间部分(124)限定防卡特征,
所述滑动锁止件(120)的所述近端部(126)滑动连接到所述壳体,
所述滑动锁止件(120)的所述中间部分(124)包括一对弯曲点(124a、124b),所述弯曲点包括形成在其内表面上的远端弯曲点(124a)和形成在其外表面上的近端弯曲点(124b)。
2.如权利要求1所述的模块化插头,其特征在于,所述滑动锁止件(120)的所述远端部(122)包括至少一个肩部(122a),用于有选择地啮合设置在所述插座上的互补肩部(204a)。
3.如权利要求2所述的模块化插头,其特征在于,所述滑动锁止件(120)的所述近端部(126)包括至少一个燕尾榫(126b),其从该近端部伸出,用于有选择地啮合形成在所述壳体中的互补沟槽(103a)。
4.如权利要求3所述的模块化插头,其特征在于,所述滑动锁止件(120)的所述近端部(126)包括指状夹持件(126a)。
5.如权利要求2所述的模块化插头,其特征在于,在所述模块化插头(100)连接到所述插座(200)时,相对于所述壳体(102)移动所述滑动锁止件(120)的所述近端部(126),导致所述滑动锁止件(120)的所述远端部(126)的所述肩部(122a)从所述插座(200)的所述肩部(204a)解脱。
