On the king-sized paper S4 of the amount of opening, can not tear owing to big wetting amount causes, can not give moisture to the part that has formed image owing to increasing wetting width yet.For S4, can control wetting, wetting amount and wetting width are increased.
Wetting width and wetting amount to every paper constituting brochure are controlled, and make the part that will become the brochure fold line wetting.As a result, the amount of opening of the paper of brochure can be reduced to constitute, therefore the brochure that does not have open outward appearance good can be bound out.
Wetting control in the 6th embodiment is based on that the information relevant with the aforesaid paper amount of opening carries out.The information relevant with the paper amount of opening for example comprises the fiber orientation of paper rigidity, the number of paper that constitutes brochure and paper.

Damping device is used for before being folded by described folding device, the wetting paper part that will be made into the brochure fold line;
Control device is used to control described damping device and carries out wetting conditions when wetting,
Wherein, corresponding to every the paper that constitutes described brochure, described wetting conditions is variable.
