Abstract
本发明提供了一种基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,通过扩充发送方和接收方媒体网关的交互信息实现,包括以下步骤:发送方或接收方媒体网关检测到传真事件的同时通过传真事件通知消息告知对端媒体网关传真事件的发生,并进行媒体切换;对端媒体网关收到传真事件通知消息,进行媒体切换。本发明由于发送方或接收方媒体网关向对端媒体网关发出传真事件通知消息,使得两端媒体网关得以同步进行传真切换,保证了基于IP网络的传真得以可靠实现。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及基于IP(互联网协议)网络的传真技术,尤其涉及IP网络传真的可靠性保证技术。
背景技术
IP FAX(基于IP网络的传真)较之传统的PSTN(公共电话交换网)传真,主要优点在于可以节省长途电话费,由于NGN(下一代网络)的普及,IP FAX将会迅速普及。现有IP FAX技术存在一个无法避免的环节,即从语音向传真的媒体切换过程,该媒体切换过程的同步性影响传真的正常流程,因此如何合理、彻底的解决同步切换问题,将直接影响到IP FAX的实用性。
传真能否顺利完成还取决于传真机自身的兼容性,由于传真机的多样性,现有技术条件下无法完成对所有传真机的100%兼容性覆盖测试,更无法预见未来传真机的性能参数,加上IP FAX由于其本身实现机制存在媒体切换的过程,所以如何保证传真发送方和接收方两端的MG(媒体网关)媒体切换的同步成为提高传真成功率的关键技术,IP FAX技术中现有的切换方法包括以下两种方案:
1.通过检测TDM(时分多工)侧传真事件作为切换的唯一条件,该方案存在以下缺陷:由于传真信号的耦合性问题,即发送传真机在没有收到接收传真机的完整V.21(基于300bps的传真操作标准,ITU-T V.21)信号之前不会主动产生V.21信号,存在某一端(发送方或接收方)媒体网关无法检测到传真事件的可能,造成切换失败;
2.受控于MGC(媒体网关控制器)的切换,该方案存在以下问题:这种方案只能保证MGC下发给两个媒体网关的信令是同时的,但是由于MGC与接收方、发送方媒体网关之间的路由不同,造成两个媒体网关无法同步切换。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种应用于IP网络传真系统,使用灵活方便,对传真机兼容性强,能实现媒体网关同步切换的方法。
本发明提供了一种基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,通过扩充发送方和接收方媒体网关的交互信息实现,包括以下步骤:
发送方或接收方媒体网关检测到传真事件的同时通过传真事件通知消息告知对端媒体网关传真事件的发生,并进行媒体切换;
对端媒体网关收到传真事件通知消息,进行媒体切换。
相较于现有技术,本发明由于发送方或接收方媒体网关向对端媒体网关发出传真事件通知消息,使得两端媒体网关得以同步进行传真切换,从而使得基于IP网络的传真具有兼容性强、可靠性高、切换同步的特点,克服了现有技术的不足,尤其是避免了由于承载网路由的差异和跨域造成的传真失败问题。

具体实施方式
请参考图1所示,本发明基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法应用的系统至少包括IP网络,连接到IP网络互相通讯的媒体网关控制器和两个媒体网关(包括发送方媒体网关MG1和接收方媒体网关MG2),以及和媒体网关相连的传真机。其中,媒体网关控制器用于控制两个媒体网关完成呼叫的建立和释放;当作为首先检测到传真事件的媒体网关时,发送方媒体网关MG1或接收方媒体网关MG2用于检测传真事件的发生,及时发出传真事件通知消息,并完成媒体切换;当作为首先检测到传真事件的媒体网关的对端媒体网关时,接收方媒体网关MG2或发送方媒体网关MG1用于接收传真事件通知消息,并及时完成传真切换即媒体切换;发送传真机与发送方媒体网关MG1相连,用于发送传真;接收传真机与接收方媒体网关MG2相连,用于接收传真。
传真事件开始发生的标识包括:CNG(主叫传真音)信号,CED(被叫端传真识别音)信号和V.21前导信号。由于CNG信号、CED信号无法唯一标识传真的开始,并且这两个信号都是单频信号易被误检,所以不宜作为传真切换的最佳标识,而V.21前导信号则是传真切换的最佳标识。
下面结合图2对于本发明基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法的实现流程进行举例说明:
第一实施例,假设媒体网关支持RFC2833(知名电话事件RTP载荷定义标准)格式的传真事件通知消息的发送、接收:
1.首先检测到用户侧传真事件的媒体网关将检测到的传真事件通过RFC2833格式的传真事件通知消息发送至对端媒体网关;
2.首先检测到用户侧传真事件的媒体网关切换至传真模式VBD(语音带内数据)或者T.38(第三类传真机基于IP的实时传真过程标准);
3.对端媒体网关收到该RFC2833格式的传真事件通知消息后,切换至传真模式VBD或者T.38。
其中,发送方媒体网关或接收方媒体网关均可作为首先检测到用户侧传真事件的媒体网关,视发送传真机或接收传真机中谁先启动传真而定。若接收传真机先启动传真,则接收方媒体网关通过接收传真机发出的CED信号首先检测到传真事件的发生,并通过RFC2833格式的CED消息将传真事件通告对端媒体网关即发送方媒体网关;之后接收传真机发出V.21前导信号,接收方媒体网关进行传真切换,并通过RFC2833格式的V.21消息通知发送方媒体网关进行传真切换。
若发送传真机先启动传真,则发送方媒体网关通过发送传真机发出的CNG信号首先检测到传真事件的发生,并通过RFC2833格式的CNG消息将传真事件通告对端媒体网关即接收方媒体网关;之后发送传真机发出V.21前导信号,发送方媒体网关进行传真切换,并通过RFC2833格式的V.21消息通知接收方媒体网关进行传真切换。
另外,传真事件通知消息可同时采用RFC2198(冗余语音数据的RTP载荷定义标准)格式的冗余来避免网络影响,尤其在网络状况较差的情况(例如丢包率>5%时)。
第二实施例,假设媒体网关不支持RFC2833格式的传真事件通知消息的发送、接收,其他条件与第一实施例相同:
1.首先检测到用户侧传真事件的媒体网关将检测到的传真事件通过NoticePacket(事件通知消息包)格式的传真事件通知消息发送至对端媒体网关;
2.首先检测到用户侧传真事件的媒体网关切换至传真模式VBD或者T.38;
3.对端媒体网关收到该NoticePacket格式的传真事件通知消息后,切换至传真模式VBD或者T.38;
本实施例除传真事件通知消息格式与第一实施例不同外,其他流程均雷同,对于雷同的特征不再赘述。
NoticePacket的格式可以采用RTP(实时传输协议)、RTCP(实时传输控制协议)、UDPTL(用户数据报协议传输层协议),但由于RTP、UDPTL是用于构成媒体流的载体,不适合作为控制的用途,因此上述的消息交互中采用RTCP中APP(应用自定义的RTCP包)消息更为适宜。使用RTCP的优点是APP消息的结构是可以自定义的,完全可以满足本功能的实现要求,同时采用APP消息不会影响不支持APP发送的MG的使用,可将传真失败的风险降到最低。
据大量实验统计表明,在各种常见用户环境下,采用本发明基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,传真同步切换的可靠率为100%,误检测概率为零;即使在用户环境严重恶化的情况下(例如丢包严重的环境下),本系统的可靠率仍然能达到这一水平,即引入的误检测概率为零。
以上详细说明了本发明基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法的工作原理及具体应用,但这不应被视为是对本发明范围的限制。

2.如权利要求1所述的基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,其特征在于,发送方媒体网关根据主叫传真音信号或V.21前导信号检测传真事件的发生,接收方媒体网关根据被叫端传真识别音信号或V.21前导信号检测传真事件的发生。
3.如权利要求2所述的基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,其特征在于,发送方或接收方媒体网关根据V.21前导信号产生传真事件通知消息并发送。
4.如权利要求1到3任一项所述的基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,其特征在于,媒体切换到语音带内数据传真模式或者第三类传真机基于IP的实时传真过程标准传真模式。
5.如权利要求4所述的基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,其特征在于,传真事件通知消息采用知名电话事件实时传输协议载荷定义标准格式进行发送和接收。
6.如权利要求5所述的基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,其特征在于,传真事件通知消息同时采用冗余语音数据的实时传输协议载荷定义标准格式消除网络丢包影响。
7.如权利要求4所述的基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,其特征在于,传真事件通知消息采用事件通知消息包格式进行发送和接收。
8.如权利要求7所述的基于IP网络的传真实现同步切换的方法,其特征在于,传真事件通知消息采用应用自定义的实时传输控制协议包格式进行发送和接收。
