技术领域
本发明涉及矫正插入物(insert)以及一种制造矫正插入物的方法.
背景技术
在说明书中关于现有技术的任何讨论都不应该被认为是承认这些现有技术是广为人知的,或者本领域公知常识的一部分.
人脚是一个由28块骨头组成的复杂结构,所述骨头通过软组织、肌肉、韧带和脚腱结合在一起.

为了制造所述矫正插入物,所述插入物的每部分都被裁切为一个基本的形状,然后放置于一个模具中.所述模具然后被加压,并且加热到约140℃的工作温度.将模具放置一段时间冷却,然后将所述部分退出,并且修整为他们所需要的形状.然后使用一种水基(aqueous based)耐热胶水将所述两部分胶合在一起,从而形成整个插入物.然后所述插入物可以通过热模制的方法安装到预定穿着者的脚上.
