如果音频视频信息流不能伴随另一个音频视频信息流，则有可能选择在音频视频信息流中对广告的不同的标记方法。图2B显示本发明的另一个实施例。图2B显示音频视频信息流250，它的第一部分251代表电影的第一部分，第二部分252代表广告以及第三部分253代表电影的第二部分。在音频视频信息流250中，广告现在是通过给音频视频信息流250的第二部分252加上第一水印而被标记的。这在图2B上是用音频视频信息流250的第二部分252上的垂直线显示的。
而且，包括电影的音频视频信息流250的各个部分可以加上第二水印。这在图2B上是用在第一部分251和第三部分253上的对角线显示的。用于显示音频视频信息流的内容的水印的措施具有这样的优点：对于标记不必要有额外的信息流。用于显示音频视频信息流的内容的水印的提供具有另外的优点：这种标记形式通常比起同步附加的信息流更难去除。给音频视频信息流加上水印的方法本身是已知的。
因为在音频视频信息流210中的广告是加标记的，它们可以由本发明的说明性实施例中的设备101(图1)进行识别。当设备101经由输入信道130接收音频视频信息流210时，这个信息流将传送到通过处理单元102，处理单元用来识别广告212的标记222。如果音频视频信息流210被存储在第一存储器103，在本发明的说明性实施例中的广告的标记也被存储在第一存储器103。
当用户通过操纵板110指令系统100把音频视频信息流210显示在显示装置120的显示屏幕121上时，处理单元102通过在音频视频信息流210中的标记(诸如水印)或在伴随信息流220中的标记，检测正在显示的是电影还是广告。
这样，处理单元102可检测是否已显示全部广告，或它是否以加速的方式被显示，或它是否根本没有被显示，因为在显示音频视频信息流时它已被跳过。广告可以通过使用给予设备103的快速向前命令的已知的方法，以加速方式被显示。当音频视频信息流被存储在随机存取存储器(诸如硬盘驱动)中时，广告可以跳过。
当广告被显示时用户可以跳到另一个信道。这也可以由处理单元102检测。
在本发明的另一个实施例中，通过在音频视频信息流中的广告加标记，当被存储在第一存储器103中的音频视频信息流被显示在显示装置120的显示屏幕121上时，有可能使设备101不显示广告。通过用操纵板110给出的命令来指示设备101，通过在显示期间跳过广告，不显示其信息被标记为广告的那些音频视频信息段，这是有可能的。
而且，检测音频视频信息流中的广告和阻止广告进行显示的几种方法是已知的。在美国专利5,692,093中描述了阻止广告进行显示的方法。用户也可以这样来指示系统100，使得广告被阻止在显示装置120的显示屏幕121上显示。
在本发明的一个实施例中，当检测到设备101被指令跳过广告的显示时，替换的广告被显示在显示装置120的显示屏幕121上。为了阻止用户指示系统100跳过这些替换的广告的显示，它们是与音频视频信息流的实际的内容一起被显示的。图3A，3B和3C上显示这些例子。用户特别想要观看电影，所以他们认为这些广告是很自然的。
图3A显示显示装置120的显示屏幕121(图1)，其上显示音频视频信息流。而且，广告是以文本301的形式被显示。文本301通过本身已知的技术被显示在音频视频信息流的视频部分。文本301可被显示在显示屏幕121的全部表面积，但也可以显示在显示屏幕121的小部分。
图3B显示显示装置120的显示屏幕121(图1)，其上显示音频视频信息流。而且，包括文本311的条状带312(文本包含广告)被显示在显示屏幕121的上方。在本发明的说明性实施例中，文本311被静止地显示，但替换地有可能像其本身是已知的断续装置条(ticker bar)那样动态地显示文本311。
图3C显示显示装置120的显示屏幕121(图1)，其上显示音频视频信息流。而且，广告是以文本321的形式被显示在半个显示屏幕121上。把文本显示在一半显示屏幕上和把音频视频信息流显示在另一半显示屏幕上的方法本身是已知的，以及它在皇家菲利浦电子公司(Royal Philips Electronics N.V.)的匹配行电视(Matchline televisions)中被使用。
在此前描述的实施例中，另外的广告以文本给出。在另外的实施例中，通告是以图象的显示，象形图或它们的组合，并与文本的组合形式给出。在又一个实施例中，替换的实施例以音频视频动画的形式，例如以宏媒体快闪(MacroMedia Flash)格式给出。
为了检测广告是否被显示在显示装置120(图1)的显示屏幕121(图1)，或检测用户是否已阻止这一点，可以使用几个应用。例如，这些应用可以连同由设备101(图1)通过输入信道130(图1)接收的音频视频信息流一起被发送。在本发明的一个实施例中，音频视频信息按照DVB标准发送，以及这些应用可以连同它一起按照MHP标准被发送。在本发明的再一个实施例中，应用可被存储在第二存储器(图1)，它在本实施例中是非易失性存储器。
而且，图3所示的替换的广告也可以连同音频视频信息流一起按照MHP标准被发送。这具有这样的优点：大多数主题广告总是被显示给用户的。替换的广告可以在第一广告被阻止进行显示的那一时刻被发送到设备101(图1)。在本发明的再一个实施例中，替换的广告在前一级已被发送到设备101(图1)，以及被存储在第二存储器104中(图1)。
当前的MHP标准具有一个问题：当用户选择不同的信道时一个应用可能被中断或关断。例如，一个应用(该应用必须检测用户是否已观看了广告)由于该用户已选择了不同的信道而被切断。因此用户可以启动新的应用，它是连同在其他的信道上发送的音频视频信息流一起被发送的。如果本发明通过MHP标准来实施，以及如果内容提供商要确保发送广告的最佳范围，则在不同的内容提供商之间的合作是重要的。这样，可以安排成当用户跳到另一个信道时，连同信道一起被发送的应用不被关断。
总之，本发明涉及当用户阻止被嵌入在音频视频信息流中的第二通告在显示装置上显示时迫使用户观看第一通告的方法，其中第一通告和第二通告是互相等同的。通告可以是广告。这种阻止可以通过跳过通告或切换到不同的信道而达到。本发明还涉及能够检测用户是否已观看通告或是否已跳过通告的设备。设备也能够显示等同于跳过的通告的第二通告。

Claims (10)

1.如果嵌入在音频视频信息流(210)中的第一通告(212)被阻止在显示屏幕(121)上显示时则显示第二通告(301)的方法，所述第二通告(301)等同于第一通告(212)，其特征在于，第二通告(301)是在其中没有嵌入第一通告(212)的音频视频信息流(210)的第一部分的显示期间被显示，所述第一部分是在其中嵌入了第一通告的音频视频信息流(210)的第二部分以后按时间顺序显示的。
2.如权利要求1中要求的方法，其特征在于，第二通告(321)被显示在显示屏幕(121)的第一部分上，以及音频视频信息流的第一部分被显示在显示屏幕(121)的第二部分上。
3.如权利要求2中要求的方法，其特征在于，显示屏幕的第一部分与显示屏幕的第二部分是互补的。
4.如权利要求2中要求的方法，其特征在于，显示屏幕的第一部分是沿着显示屏幕(121)的边缘的条状带(312)。
5.如权利要求1中要求的方法，其特征在于，第二通告(301)被显示在显示屏幕(121)上至少一部分的透明背景上。
6.如权利要求1中要求的方法，其特征在于，第二通告被嵌入在与该音频视频信息流(210)相联系的数据流中。
7.如权利要求6中要求的方法，其特征在于，数据流适合于多媒体主平台标准。
8.一种设备(101)，包括一个处理单元，该处理单元用于检测嵌入在音频视频信息流(210)中的第一通告(212)是否被阻止在显示屏幕(121)上显示，并且还用于当检测到第一通告被阻止进行显示则用于在显示屏幕上显示第二通告(301)，所述第二通告(301)等同于第一通告(212)，其特征在于，该处理单元还用来在其中没有嵌入第一通告的音频视频信息流的第一部分的显示期间显示第二通告，所述第一部分是在其中嵌入了第一通告的音频视频信息流的第二部分以后按时间顺序显示的。
9.如权利要求8中要求的设备(101)，其特征在于，该设备(101)还用来接收其中嵌入第二通告(301)的数据流。
10.如权利要求9中要求的设备(101)，其特征在于，该数据流适合于多媒体主平台MHP标准，且该设备(101)还用来接收其中按照MHP标准嵌入第二通告(301)的数据流。
