Abstract

Se divulga un método de sellado superior de una bandeja de cartón revestida con una lámina plástica, método que comprende los pasos de: proporcionar una bandeja de cartón que tenga un fondo, paredes verticales dispuestas a lo largo de la periferia del fondo y un reborde horizontal dispuesto a lo largo de los bordes superiores de las paredes verticales, en donde el interior de la bandeja de cartón está revestido con una lámina plástica, que se extiende por lo menos hasta el reborde horizontal; - disponer la bandeja de cartón en un miembro inferior de la herramienta de sellado que tiene un borde de soporte comprimible, donde por lo menos el reborde horizontal es soportado por el borde de soporte comprimible del miembro inferior de la herramienta de sellado; - disponer una lámina de cubierta sobre la bandeja de cartón dispuesta en el miembro inferior de la herramienta de sellado para cubrir la abertura de la bandeja definida por los bordes superiores de las paredes verticales; - presionar un miembro superior calentado de la herramienta de sellado sobre el miembro inferior de la herramienta de sellado, donde la lámina de cubierta, el revestimiento de lámina plástica y el reborde horizontal son presionados juntos para sellar la lámina de cubierta sobre el revestimiento de lámina plástica a lo largo del reborde horizontal, en donde según la dirección de prensado, la zona de traslape del revestimiento de lámina plástica, la lámina de cubierta y el borde de soporte comprimible se extiende por lo menos parcialmente fuera de la zona del reborde horizontal.
