Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una lanza compuesta por una lanza superior (1t) y una sublanza (2) acoplada a la lanza superior (1t), que forma una parte saliente (1s) entre la lanza superior y la sublanza. La sublanza (2) de la presente invención se proporciona con un dispositivo protector (3) que comprende un extremo de acoplamiento (2c) que se abre hasta la cavidad (2v), en donde, cuando se encuentra en reposo, el dispositivo protector (3) está en una configuración inicial caracterizada por un diámetro externo máximo (D3o) que no tiene un diámetro mayor de 10 % que el diámetro (D2) de la sublanza (2) (D3o menor igual 1,1 D2), cuando la sublanza (2) está acoplada a la lanza, el dispositivo protector (3) se pone en contacto con la parte saliente (1s) y se deforma en una configuración deformada, lo que forma una superficie impermeable a metal fundido y escoria, que se extiende por un área completa de la parte saliente (1s).
