Abstract
El objeto de la invención es un alambre de talón para un neumático que exhibiendo simetría de revolución alrededor de un eje principal y comprendiendo N>1 enrollamientos circunferenciales (30) alrededor del eje principal, los N enrollamientos circunferenciales (30) estando dispuestos en P>1 capas C(i) superpuestas radialmente, i variando desde 1 a P, cada capa C(i) comprendiendo L(i)>1 enrollamientos circunferenciales axialmente yuxtapuestos (30). Cada enrollamiento circunferencial (30) comprende una porción de un monofilamento metálico (34) de diámetro d y una capa (36) de un material teniendo una densidad menor que la densidad del monofilamento metálico (34), la capa (36) recubriendo la porción de monofilamento metálico (34) tal que cada enrollamiento circunferencial (30) está, en un plano de sección radial (XY) paralelo al eje principal, inscrito en un círculo de diámetro D. La relación D/d es mayor o igual a 1,15. El alambre de talón tiene: - un diámetro medio Dm, expresado en mm y definido como la distancia que separa radialmente, en el plano de sección radial (XY) paralelo al eje principal (A) del alambre de talón, los centros de los círculos (U1, U2) circunscritos en cada semisección del alambre de talón en el plano de sección radial (XY), - una masa M, expresada en g, - cada enrollamiento circunferencial (30) teniendo, en el plano de sección radial (XY) paralelo al eje principal (A) del alambre de talón, una sección de área S, expresada en mm2, y donde 1000 x M/(N x S x π x Dm) es menor o igual a 2,10.
