Abstract

Se describe un dispositivo para recolección pasiva de dióxido de carbono atmosférico; el dispositivo incluye una cámara de liberación que tiene una abertura y un sistema de regeneración absorbente; el dispositivo también incluye una estructura de captura acoplada a la cámara de liberación, que tiene por lo menos un soporte plegable y una pluralidad de baldosas espaciadas a lo largo del soporte plegable; cada baldosa tiene un material absorbente; la estructura de captura se mueve entre una configuración de recolección y una configuración de liberación; la configuración de recolección incluye la estructura de captura que se extiende hacia arriba desde la cámara de liberación para exponer la estructura de captura a un flujo de aire y permitir que el material absorbente capture el dióxido de carbono atmosférico; la configuración de liberación incluye el soporte plegable que se va a plegar y la pluralidad de baldosas está suficientemente encerrada dentro de la cámara de liberación para que el sistema de regeneración absorbente pueda operar en la pluralidad de baldosas para liberar el dióxido de carbono capturado del material absorbente y formar un gas enriquecido.
