Abstract
UN MÉTODO Y SISTEMA PARA PREPARAR RÁPIDAMENTE CARBONATO DE LITIO O SALMUERA CONCENTRADA MEDIANTE EL USO DE VAPOR A ALTAS TEMPERATURAS EL MÉTODO COMPRENDE LOS SIGUIENTES PASOS: 1) ALIMENTAR CON SALMUERA UN REACTOR; 2) AGREGAR VAPOR A ALTA TEMPERATURA CON UNA TEMPERATURA SUPERIOR A 200°C A LA SALMUERA Y CALENTARLA, Y SIMULTÁNEAMENTE DESCARGAR EL VAPOR PRODUCIDO DENTRO DEL REACTOR; 3) ENFRIAR EL VAPOR DESCARGADO POR MEDIO DE UN CONDENSADOR Y RECOLECTAR EL MISMO; Y 4) DETENER LA INTRODUCCIÓN DE VAPOR DE ALTA TEMPERATURA DESPUÉS DE QUE LA SALMUERA TENGA UNA CONCENTRACIÓN PREDETERMINADA O DESPUÉS DE QUE SE HAYA SEPARADO UNA CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE DE CARBONATO DE LITIO. EL SISTEMA COMPRENDE: UN REACTOR (1) PROVISTO DE UNA ENTRADA DE SALMUERA (11); UNA SALIDA DE VAPOR (13) ESTÁ LOCALIZADA ENCIMA DEL REACTOR, Y UNA SALIDA DEL PRODUCTO (12) ESTÁ LOCALIZADA DEBAJO DEL REACTOR; UNA VARIEDAD DE TUBOS DE VAPOR (14), CUYAS ABERTURAS ESTÁN ORIENTADAS HACIA ABAJO Y SE INCLUYEN EN EL REACTOR, Y POR ÚLTIMO, LA SALIDA DE VAPOR ESTÁ CONECTADA A UN CONDENSADOR (2). EN ESTE MÉTODO EL VAPOR A ALTAS TEMPERATURAS SE USA PARA CALENTAR DIRECTAMENTE LA SALMUERA, MIENTRAS QUE EL CONDENSADOR SE UTILIZA PARA DESCARGAR EL VAPOR PRODUCIDO, QUE PUEDE CONCENTRAR EFICAZMENTE LA SALMUERA O PRODUCIR CRISTALES DE CARBONATO DE LITIO, ASÍ COMO AGUA DULCE COMO SUBPRODUCTO O DERIVADO. EL CALENTAMIENTO RÁPIDO Y UNIFORME ES UNA DE LAS VENTAJAS DE ESTE MÉTODO. EL PRESENTE MÉTODO ES VENTAJOSO AL MOMENTO DE ELIMINAR DISPOSITIVOS DE RECUBRIMIENTO, TUBOS DE INTERCAMBIO DE CALOR, MEZCLADORES, BOMBAS DE VACÍO Y REDUCIR LA COMPLEJIDAD DEL EQUIPO.
