Abstract
<p>SE DESCRIBE UN MÉTODO PARA OPERAR UNA CONCENTRACIÓN DE VALOR DE COBRE O DE OTRO METAL. DE ACUERDO CON ALGUNAS MODALIDADES, EL MÉTODO PUEDE COMPRENDER PRODUCIR UN CONCENTRADO DE COBRE FINAL; ANALIZAR PERIÓDICAMENTE O CONTINUAMENTE EL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE FINAL PRODUCIDO PARA OBTENER UN VALOR DE GRADO DEL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE PRODUCIDO FINAL; Y DESVIAR EL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE FINAL PRODUCIDO HACIA UNA OPERACIÓN DE FUNDICIÓN CORRIENTE ABAJO SI/CUANDO EL VALOR DE GRADO DEL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE FINAL PRODUCIDO ES IGUAL A, O ESTÁ POR ARRIBA DE UN UMBRAL DE GRADO MÍNIMO ACEPTABLE; O DESVIAR EL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE FINAL PRODUCIDO HACIA UNA OPERACIÓN HIDROMETALÚRGICA CORRIENTE ABAJO CON LA CAPACIDAD DE PRODUCIR CÁTODOS DE COBRE U OTRO PRODUCTO DE OBRE COMERCIABLE A PARTIR DEL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE PRODUCIDO FINAL, SI/CUANDO EL VALOR DE GRADO DEL CONCENTRADO DE COBRE FINAL PRODUCIDO ESTÁ POR DEBAJO DEL UMBRAL DE GRADO MÍNIMO ACEPTABLE. TAMBIÉN SE DESCRIBE UNA CONCENTRADORA DE COBRE CON LA CAPACIDAD DE LLEVAR A CABO LOS PASOS DEL MÉTODO MENCIONADOS ANTERIORMENTE.</p>
