Abstract

Se refiere a un metodo para operar una concentradora de valor de cobre o de otro metal. De acuerdo con algunas modalidades, el metodo puede comprender producir un concentrado de cobre final; analizar periodicamente o continuamente el concentrado de cobre final producido para obtener un valor de grado del concentrado de cobre producido final; y desviar el concentrado de cobre final producido hacia una operacion de fundicion corriente abajo si/cuando el valor de grado del concentrado de cobre final producido es igual a, o esta por arriba de un umbral de grado minimo aceptable; o , desviar el concentrado de cobre final producido hacia una operacion hidrometalurgica corriente abajo con la capacidad de producir catodos de cobre u otro producto de cobre comerciable a partir del concentrado de cobre producido final, si/cuando el valor de grado del concentrado de cobre final producido esta por debajo del umbral de grado minimo aceptable. Tambien se describe una concentradora de cobre con la capacidad de llevar a cabo los pasos del metodo mencionados anteriormente
