Abstract
La invención corresponde a un sistema de expresión optogenético en levadura y un método para regular la expresión de un gen en una célula hospedera, donde el sistema de expresión optogenético comprende al menos dos fotorreceptores, o proteínas sensibles a luz distintas que pueden formar un factor de transcripción quimérico, donde una vez que el sistema se expone a la luz, se genera un cambio conformacional que permite la dimerización entre ambos fotorreceptores distintos, formándose así el factor de transcripción, permitiendo la unión de dicho factor de transcripción al promotor, generando así la transcripción del gen de interés.
