Abstract

<p>sistema que emplea al menos un soporte de aislamiento sísmico que tiene una forma sustancialmente  poligonal en una vista superior y/o de fondo. Preferiblemente la forma poligonal es diferente a una forma cuadrada; preferiblemente la forma es diferente a una forma rectangular. Tales soportes de aislamiento poligonales pueden unirse fácilmente y de manera asegurada a otros componentes del piso a plataforma, y son de uso particular en sistema de aislamientos sísmicos modulares, en los cuales el piso o plataforma pueden ensamblarse para  ajustar en el espacio disponible. En sistemas preferidos los soportes de aislamiento poligonales pueden usarse en sistemas de bajo perfil, por ejemplo, en ubicaciones que tienen espacio libre restringido.</p>
