Description
Nutenliobel.
Nutenliobel. The present invention is a grooving planer, which is seen ver with a stop bar that is normal to the plane sole yielding.
Conveniently, the stop bar is adjustable relative to the guide bar on and consists of a rail with a resiliently attached stop shoe.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 shows a grooving plane.
Fig. 2 is a detailed view of the stop bar, partially in section; Fig. 3 shows a cross section of the grooving plane along the line I-I in Fig. 1 at the beginning of the planing of a groove, Fig. 4 the same when finishing the groove.
1 is the planer box, which carries the planer knife 2 and the holding wedge 3 in the planer mouth. In the sole of the plane, the guide bar 4 is firmly embedded, and on the side by means of two screws 5 of the stop 6 for the depth adjustment is adjustable. The stop bar is arranged parallel to the guide bar 4 and has a rail 7 and a stop shoe 8 placed thereon. The stop shoe has two lateral slots 9 into which the pins 10 attached to the rail 7 engage so that the stop shoe can move on the rail 7 in the vertical direction.
Between the rail and the stop shoe, the flat spring 11 is arranged in its interior. The rail 7 has two tabs 12 with slots for retaining screws 13 with nuts embedded in the plane body. After loosening these screws, the stop bar can be moved relative to the guide bar and the groove spacing can be set precisely.
At the beginning of the planing of a groove where the knife, respectively. the guide bar sits on the surface of the board in question, -is the stop shoe, as can be seen in Fig. 3, pressed under the spring action down to the bottom of the groove and then gradually moves upwards as the planing progresses to that in Fig. 4 ge position at the end of planing. The planer provides safe, precise work with every groove distance and depth, without changing any part.
