Brennstoffsauger.
Fuel sucker. The invention relates to a fuel sucker with a float.
According to the invention, a piston with a bore is arranged between a suction line and a float tank, which is alternately closed and opened by a guide rod moved by the float, whereby the piston is alternately placed under suction and left to the effect of its own weight, goes up and falls back , whereby when the piston goes up, the float tank is connected to the outside air and the fuel is drained into the storage tank, whereupon the float sinks, the bore of the piston is opened again, the latter falls back into its starting position due to its own weight and the outside air from concludes.
The drawing shows an embodiment example of the fuel sucker according to the invention in vertical section. The fuel sucker has a reservoir a and a float container b inserted into this, which is screwed tightly to the former ver. The connection piece d for the fuel and the connection piece e for the suction line are arranged in the cover c.
In the nozzle e, which is seen ver with the holes 2v, the piston f is displaceably superimposed, which has a bore g, and its way up through the union nut h and down through the guide 7c be limited. The latter is provided with openings l and serves as a guide for the rod m, on which the swimmer n moves with clearance between the stops o. The rod in has a Ku gel 12 above, which dominates the bore g.
The float container b is provided with a closure flap r at the angular outlet s, which, due to its inclined position, closes the outlet e by its own weight, which is connected to the container b through openings t stands. The reservoir a, from which the fuel line ac leading to the carburetor branches off at the bottom, is connected to the outside air through the opening v.
The mode of operation of the fuel sucker is as follows: In the position shown, the container b is filled with fuel to such an extent that the piston bore g through the rod no. with the help of the ball is closed :. : The suction force of the motor consequently acts on the piston f, so that it is lifted further with the rod to its end position, while the one with dead gear on the rod m. sedentary swimmers remain behind.
As a result, the holes w are released and the outside air flows: through them into the container b, the negative pressure in the same is thus lifted and the fuel flows, the flap r opening automatically, into the storage container a and from there into the Line -zc to the carburetor. When the fuel flows out, the float first sinks to the lower stop o and then takes the rod iya with the ball p with it, opening it,
the bore g; of the piston f , which has been kept closed by the negative pressure (); until then, falls back into the starting position due to its own weight and thereby closes the holes w. Fuel is sucked in again through the bore g through the connecting piece d, the float rises and the process is repeated.
