   Die bisher erstellten Nistkästen sind von der Oberseite her angebohrt und werden ge  wohnlich    mittelst eines Deckels abgeschlossen, vermöge welcher Bauart ein grosser
Nachteil durch Eindringen von Wasser und Feuchtigkeit für das Brutgeschäft entstehen kann.



   Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Nistkasten für    V#gel,    mit einem von der Bodenseite her angebohrten, mit   Befesti-    gungslappen versehenen, aus einem Stück bestehenden Baumstüek, dessen unten zu einer   Xöhlung    erweiterter Hohlraum Horizontalrillen besitzt und unten mittelst eines Zapfens abgeschlossen ist, so dass ein Eindringen von Wasser und Feuchtigkeit von oben so gut wie unmöglich ist.



   Auf beigegebener Zeichnung ist der Er  findungsgegenstand in einer    beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt, und es zeigt Fig.   1    einen   Längenschnitt,    während Fig. 2 eine Vorderansicht wiedergibt.



   Der aus einem Baumstück bestehende Nistkasten   1    ist von der Bodenseite her angebohrt und unten zu einer Höhlung 2 er  weitert,    welche zur Erleichterung des Auf  steigens    der Bewohner eingeschnittene   Kil-    len 3 aufweist und unten mittelst eines Zapfens 4 verschlossen ist. Unter dem obern Ende der Höhlung ist das zur Verhinderung des Eindringens von Wasser nach innen ansteigende   Flugloch    5 angeordnet.



   Zur Befestigung dieses beschriebenen Nistkastens sind oben und unten am Baumstück   La : ppen 1'belassen, durch. welche    das Befestigungsmaterial, wie Schrauben, Nägel und dergleichen, getrieben werden können.



  Ein oben auf der Abdachung aufgesetztes   Brettchen    oder Blech (Deckplatte) 6 schützt diesen Nistkasten vor den Witterungseinflüssen und schliesst das Eindringen von Wasser mit ziemlicher Sicherheit aus.

   The subject matter of the present invention is a nesting box for birds, with a one-piece tree structure drilled from the bottom and provided with fastening tabs, the hollow space of which is expanded to form a cavity and is closed at the bottom by means of a peg so that penetration of water and moisture from above is as good as impossible.



   In the accompanying drawing, the subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, and it shows Fig. 1 a longitudinal section, while Fig. 2 shows a front view.



   The nest box 1, which consists of a piece of tree, is drilled from the bottom and widened at the bottom to form a cavity 2, which has incised holes 3 to make it easier for the residents to climb and is closed at the bottom by means of a pin 4. The entrance hole 5, which rises inwards to prevent the penetration of water, is arranged under the upper end of the cavity.



   To fix this described nesting box, La: ppen 1 'are left on top and bottom of the piece of tree. which the fastening material, such as screws, nails and the like, can be driven.



  A board or sheet (cover plate) 6 placed on top of the roof protects this nest box from the effects of the weather and almost certainly prevents the ingress of water.

PATENT CLAIM: Nest box for birds, characterized by a piece of tree made of one piece, drilled from the bottom and provided with fastening tabs, the hollow space of which is expanded to form a cover and has horizontal grooves and is closed at the bottom by means of a pin.
