Description

Further training in tulle trades. This invention relates to an improvement brought to the to tulle looms in which the shuttles always move between the same teeth of the combs, to introduce weft threads between the threads of warp and spool threads.

In the accompanying drawing, given to by way of example : Fig. 1 is a vertical section showing the elements of a to tulle loom of the type shown and the weft thread guides in position; Fig. 2 is a schematic view showing how the weft thread guides are actuated ; FIG. 3 is a schematic view showing another device for controlling these thread guides.

In the arrangement shown in fig. 1, the spools 1, the threads of the spools 2 and the threads of the warp 3 which pass through the thread guides 4 are arranged and actuated in the usual way in to tulle looms of the type indicated. The weft threads 5 and 6 coming from the spindles 7, preferably mounted on the floor, pass through through the 8 and 9 thread guides to arrive at the part to to manufacture. These wire guides are formed by tubes which are mounted on * bars res 11 arranged between the bars of the combs 192, and which s 'extend up to above the path traveled by the shuttles.

You can arrange the weft thread guides at the back and at the front of the warp threads, as shown in the drawing, or you can guide them Weft thread can all be either at the back or at front of the warp threads.

To facilitate the description, it will be assumed that the weft thread guides 8 (fig. 1) are located in front of the warp threads 3 and the weft 9 thread guides behind the threads.

According to fig. 1, the weft thread guides 8 move in one direction to place the weft threads 5 between the warp threads 3 and the threads of the spools 2. The spools 1 then oscillate slowly to through the warp threads 3 along the combs 10, the command being carried out as in the to tulle to shuttles operated from above looms.

The weft thread guides 9 then move in the opposite direction or in the same direction in which the weft thread guides 8 were moving previously, and place the weft threads 6 between bobbin threads 2 and warp threads 3, after which bobbins 1 oscillate to </ B> back again. The threads of the spools 2 thus twist around the warp threads 3 in a continuous fashion, so as to keep the weft threads in position. Any suitable number of yarn guides 4 may be actuated by a Jacquard or other mechanism to vary the design of the fabric.

The horizontal bars 11 on which the weft thread guides 8 and 9 are mounted, are actuated in a suitable way whatever in supports mounted on the comb bars 12, so that the weft thread guides 8 move forward and those: 9 behind the warp threads 3.

In the 13 weft thread guide control device shown in fig. 2, these thread guides are mounted on a horizontal bar 14 actuated by levers 15 or the like, in order to increase the displacement of the thread guides < B> 13. These levers are controlled by means of a 16 rod by a Jacquard mechanism or the like. We can see a spring 17 to bring back the thread guides 13.

In the arrangement shown in fig. 3, the weft thread guides 18 pivot at 19 and are actuated, so as to turn around this pivot, by a rod 20 connected to the weft thread guide at 21 and controlled by a Jacquard or other mechanism, so to move to roughly horizontally in forward or backward. child of string. A spring can bring the organs back. The weft threads are put in place when the weft thread guides 18 oscillate around the pivot 19 in front or behind the warp threads, the action being in principle the same as that described for fig. 1.

The weft thread (s) can be placed in a continuous manner throughout the length of the fabric or else a device can be provided allowing to keep the weft thread guides at rest at certain times.
