\ 'experienced to prevent or reduce the build-up of K esselstein on boiler and cooler walls. by electrical means. The J: rfit) duttg relates to a method and device for preventing or reducing the build-up of boiler parts on the walls of steam boilers, coolers, etc. by electrical means.
In known methods of this type, the boiler wall is used for the Ka method of a Gleicltstrotnkreises getnacltt. while one or more anodes are insulated and fed through the boiler wall and are appropriately distributed across the boiler wall.
The aim of this is to physically influence the set scale in the sense that it is softer and, in contrast to the scale which is not influenced by electrolysis, can be easily removed by knocking it off. However, this method based on direct current electrolysis has technical disadvantages.
In larger factories. If there are no central units of their own, mostly three-phase or alternating current are available. This alternating current has so far been converted into (@ -leiclistrom.
This results in power losses which make the process)) ttt); *) tig more expensive. If there is a factory or a boiler plant (direct current to the fulfillment, this direct current cannot be used directly either), since the direct current voltages of the control center are normally one to several hundred volts,
while the direct current required for electrolytic scale prevention may only have very low voltages. Also here there is a need for converter devices working with considerable losses in order to bring the direct current from high voltage to low voltage.
With the invention, these parts are avoided after. Extensive tests have shown that the boiler scale can also be deposited on boiler and cooler walls using alternating current or three-phase current of any frequency. With a simple alternating current, the procedure is carried out in such a way that the boiler is connected to one pole of the network, while the other pole is connected to one or more electrodes made of iron or carbon, for example.
which are passed through the boiler wall in an isolated manner and are attached to the boiler at suitable locations. Since an average of 5-11) volts is used. the connection takes place;) via a transformer reit more appropriate h @ bei--, etzririg, vei, liiiltrii ,.
If three-phase current is available, it can either use the single-phase alternating current in the same way as before. in that nian only loads one phase of the three-phase electrical network, or inan leads three elec- trodes,
which are also made of iron or coal and, if necessary, can be subdivided, isolated at suitable points. through the boiler and connects it to the three conductors of the three-phase network or a transformer connected to it. while the boiler itself is your storripoint of the Druhstromnetzes.
An appreciable technical advantage is achieved by the new process, since all uniform and expensive arrangements for forming alternating current or liocli-tensioned C_leiclistrom in low-tension (_lleieli #, troni are avoided.
The highly charged alternating current coming from the control center can be brought to the required low voltage with normal, very efficient transformers without any loss of energy.
In the case of your correct method, the amounts of energy fed to the boiler also represent the amounts of energy actually consumed, while in the case of the previously #: well-known methods for this amount of energy there are still the appreciable energy losses in the ';
