Fig. 1 stellt ein prinzipielles Vektordiagramm dar. Fig. 3 stellt einen Verdrahtungsplan dar.

(s. Fig. 3).
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :

Circuit for heating power tubes with one in the
Phase shifted by 450 AC voltage
The subject of the invention is a circuit for AC voltage heating of the tubes in the power stages of large broadcasting stations with the aid of a voltage shifted by 450 in phase.
As is known, the increase in performance of large broadcasting stations has the use of power tubes
EMI1.1
the use of alternating current heating has become widespread for the purpose of simplifying the supply. In order to reduce the heating noise of the tubes, the tubes were heated with an alternating voltage, shifted in phase by 90, using the Souschen method. However, due to this phase shift of 900, the necessary noise level was not guaranteed. In order to improve the latter, efforts were made to heat the four tubes with a voltage shifted by 45 in phase.
The circuits known up to now have achieved this task by using six transformers and by tapping them on their secondary branches, which deliver very high currents, by means of a Scott-like circuit.
The main characteristic and at the same time the most essential advantage of the circuit according to the invention
EMI1.2
The circuit is that they cannot be fitted with tubes, and the tapping of the high current secondary circuits like the derivation thereof can be avoided. The method according to the invention, beyond the already mentioned simplified circuit arrangement, produces, according to the control measurements made so far, an approximately 8-10% improvement in the noise level based on the 900 phase shift described above.
The method is described below using an exemplary embodiment. 1 shows a basic vector diagram. R-S-T mean the individual phase points, D means the star point. The actual circuit diagram can be seen in FIG. Transformer 1 is connected to the R-S phase of an R-S-T three-phase system, transformer 2 to the center tap F of transformer 1 and to phase T. Fig. 3 shows a wiring diagram.
Thereupon transformer 3 is switched between phase round the end point El of the additional winding W1 of the transformer 2, transformer 4, however, is switched between phase S and the end point E2 of the additional winding W 2 of the transformer 2, whereby it is achieved that the transformers 1 and 2 existing system, phase-shifted by 900, has been shifted by another 450 based on the system consisting of transformers 3 and 4, also phase-shifted by 900. The primary voltage of transformers 3 and 4 assumes the following values according to the circuit
EMI1.3
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The branch of transformer 2 shows the following voltage values at the same time:
EMI2.1
which is the same as the primary voltage of transformer 2.
The system formed from transformers 1 and 2 and known in this regard is symmetrical in itself. Similarly, it can easily be seen that the system according to the invention, which consists of the transformers 3 and 4, is also symmetrical with respect to the phases R-S-T.
The arrangement according to the circuit principle according to Fig. 1 gives only theoretically symmetrical current load to each phase of the system, for which reason in the practical implementation the primary winding of the transformer 2 is not tapped, but according to FIG. 2 with two special ones calculated according to the above , to 139 V dimensioned additional windings Wl and W2, the starting points of which are connected to the phase point T of the transformer 2 and the other ends of which are connected to the end points E1 and E of the transformers 3 and 4 according to FIG.
The secondary windings of the transformers are also the heating windings of the tubes. Since the transformers are installed under the tubes, the heating filaments of the tubes are connected directly to the secondary windings. (see Fig. 3).
