Chime. The invention relates to a Ma machine for ringing church bells, in which the reciprocating bell is driven by a uniformly rotating motor shaft in the two directions of oscillation with the help of a drive pulley mounted in a swing frame.
An exemplary embodiment of the ringing machine is shown in the drawing, specifically showing: FIG. 1 the entire machine in a schematic manner; FIGS. 2 and 3 show a reversing gear in front and side views; Fig. 4, 5 and 6 illustrate this transmission in cal matic manner in which work positions; Fig. 7 to 9 show an on and off switching device of the transmission in three different views ver.
The bell 1 is swingably mounted in a known manner in the bell cage and carries a chain disk 2 on its axis, which is driven by a drive disk 3 from chain 4 by means of. The disc 3 sits on a shaft 5 which is rotatably mounted in a Rubmnen 6 and which carries a friction wheel 7. The frame 6 is suspended by pin 8 in a fixed bearing, so that the shaft 5 and thus the friction wheel 7 and the Seheibe 3 are pivoted about the pin 8. On both sides of the frame 6 are sieve, arranged in fixed bearings, two friction rollers 9, 10, which are driven by an electric motor 11 in opposite directions by means of an open and crossed belt drive 12, respectively. 13 are driven.
The friction oars 7, 9, 10 are arranged so that the wheel 7 can be brought into engagement with one or the other of the oars 9, 10 and also out of engagement with the two wheels. To bring the wheel 7 into engagement with the wheels 9, 10, the frame 6 is pivoted, and a manually adjustable angle lever 1-1, which is rotatably and axially displaceable on the stationary shaft 15, is used for this purpose. Lever 14 is connected to the frame 6 by means of handlebars 16. By axially displacing the lever 14, a pin 17 of the lever 14 can be brought into the path of a cam 18 which is rigidly connected to a spur gear 19.
The latter is in engagement with a toothed piston 29 which is wedged on the shaft 5. The cam 18 rotates with the shaft 5 and thus as a function of the bell.
The lever 14 is under the action of a spring 21. which strives to bring the Zap fen 17 into the area of the cam 18 and keep ziu therein. A lever 22, which is rotatably seated on a pin 24 and is located in front of the lever 14, secures the latter in its disengaged position. The pin 24 sits on a stationary disk 927. If the lever 14 on the shaft 15 is turned clockwise to switch on the drive, it presses with the arm 25 on the lever 22, which then releases the lever 14 so that it is under the Action of the spring 21 shifts in the axial direction.
The mode of operation is as follows: In the rest position, the parts assume the position shown in FIG. To ring the bell, lever 14 is now rotated and axially pushed ver that it comes into the position shown in FIG. In this position the friction wheel 7 is in contact with wheel 10; Furthermore, the pin 17 is on the cam 18. The frame men 6 is brought out of its equilibrium position, into which it strives back; he is prevented from doing so by the cam 18 which blocks the lever 14. Wheel 10 drives wheel 7 and thus the bell; but at the same time the cam 18 is also rotated.
As soon as the latter has been rotated so far that the pin 17 can slide off it, the frame 6 will return to the starting position due to its gravity, the wheel 7 comes out of contact with wheel 10, so that the bell is also free Rückiüclkschwingt and there with the chain 4, the disk 3 and there with the cam 18 rotates backwards, which the latter first again in the position according to Fig. 4 and then further into the position according to Fig. (6, whereby he moves the lever 14 pivots to the left.
The wheel 7 is pressed against the wheel 9 and the cam 18 locks the frame 6 in this position with the aid of the pin 17, again for as long. until the cam 18 exposes the latter and the frame 6 swings out again in the opposite direction due to its own weight and the action of the bell. The process is repeated until the lever 14 is adjusted i ixi al and the pin 17 is thereby pulled out of the area of the cam 18. To set the bell in motion, an auxiliary cam can be provided laterally, coaxially to the cam 18, rotatable on the pin 8, with which the lever 14 works together before the latter is controlled by the cam 18. The auxiliary cam is moved back and forth independently of the cam 18.
for example, by means of a push rod that engages one end of the auxiliary cam and the other end of a crank pin of one of the disks 9, 10, the number of oscillations of the auxiliary cams being brought into agreement with the oscillation of the bell. If, however, the bell has received approximately the full oscillation amplitude, the auxiliary cam is automatically put out of action, and cam 18 works as described above.
