Schussapparat zum Vertilgen ou Feldmäusen und #hnlichen W#hltieren.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Schussapparat zum Vertilgen von Feld m#usen und ähnlichen Wühltieren, welcher dazu bestimmt ist, die Tiere nicht durch ein Geschoss, sondern nur durch die Druekwir- kung einer Pulverexplosion zu töten.
Gemäss der Erfindung besitzt der Schussapparat einen a. uf einer Bettungsplatte befestigten Lauf mit Schlagbolzen und Hahn. einen Stellbügel zum Festlegen des gespannten Hahnes und eine Abzugstange zum Ausl#sen des gespannten Hahnes, welche sich bis tuber die Laufmündung hinaus erstreelt und dort eine Stossplatte trägt, das Ganze derart.
dass an (leiii in einer Bodenvertiefung senk- recht zu einem Laufkanal der Tiere auge- stellten, schussfertig gemachten Apparate die in den Laufkanal hineinragende Stossplatte durch ein den Kanal passierendes Tier derart betätigt wird, dass die Abzugstange den ge- spunnten Hahn löst und dieser eine im Lauf enthaltene Pulverladuhg zur Explosion bringt, die durch den verursachten Druck das betreffende Tier tötet.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs- gegenstandes veranschaulicht die beiliegende Zeichnung.
Fig. 1 ist eine Seitenansicht des Apparates in ungeladenem Zustand. und
Fig. 2 die gleiche Seitenansicht bei geladenem Apparate.
Im Schenkel 1 einer rechtwinklig umgebogenen Bettungsplatte 2 ist ein einerends geschlossener Lauf 3 befestigt, der an seinem hintern Ende einen senkrecht zur Laufachse stehenden Schlagbolzen 4 besitzt. Am obern
Ende des Schlagbolzens 4 sitzt ein Arm 5 fest. der beim Stellen des Apparates unter einem am Schenkel 1 befestigten Anschlage (!gedrehtird.nnidenSchlagbolzennm Herausfallen aus dem Laufe zu verhindern.
Auf der Bettungsplatte ist hinter dem Laufe

Wirkung einer Blattfeder 11 steht und an dent einiSiehernngsarm8sehwing'barbe- iestigt ist. Ferner ist am Hahne noch ein StILt 9 angebracht, der sieh im Bereich eines drehbar mit der Bettungsplatte verbundenen Stellb#gels 10 befindet. Am hintern Ende der Bettungsplatte ist ein Lenker 12 ge lagert. der con einem Stifte 13 durehsetzt ist.
An diesem Stifte 13 greift die Abzug stance 14 an, die über die Bettung'. splatte 3 hinweg sich durch den Schenkel 1 und durch ein unter der Laufm#ndung angebrachtes Auge 15 hindurch erstreckt und an ihrem über diese M#ndung hinausragenden Ende eine Stossplatte 16 trägt.
Befinden sieh die beweglichen Teile des apparats in der Stellung nach Fig. 1, so wird zum Einstellen und Schu#fertigmachen desselbenzuerst der Schlagbolzen mit einem Zündhütchen versellen, dann der Lauf mit Pulser geladen und mit einem Papierpfropfen verschlossen und sodann der Hahn 7 gespannt. Darauf wird der Sicherungsarm 8 so herumgeschwungen, da# er hegen cla hintere Ende des Laufes 3 anstösst.
Dann wird der Stellbügel auf den Stift 9 herab gedreht Tig. 2) und der Lenker 12 in Rich fliii, des Pfeils (Fig. 1) so weit gedreht, dass das freie Ende des Stellbügels 10 gerade unter den Stift 13 greift. Dann wird der Hahn durci Herumschwenken des Sicherungsarmes in Richtung des Pfeils von Fig. 2 entsichert. und der Apparat ist znm Gebrauehe fertig.
Er wird nun in eine mit dem Spaten her gestellte Bodenvertiefung so eingestellt, da# sein Lanf senkrecht zu einem Laufkanal, wie sie z-on den in Frage kommenden Tieren im Boden hergestellt werden. steht und die Sto#platte 16 in den Laufkanal der Tiere hineinragt.
Passiert nun zum Beispiel eine Nans den Kanal, so muss sie, um an der Sto#platte vorbeizukommen, diese zur#ck- drift Dadurch wird aber der Lenker 12 entgegen der Pfeilrichtung von Fig. l ge dreht, der Stift 13 kommt dadurch ausser Eingriff mit dem Stellbügel 10, so dass dieser den Hahn freigibt, der dann durch die Wirkung der Feder 11 gegen den Schlagbolzen 4 schl#gt und die Pulverladung zur Explosion bringt, durch welche das Tier getötet wird.
Es hat sich bei Erprobung des Apparates gezeigt. da# auch solche Tiere, die die Ge wohnheit haben. beim W#hlen Erde vor sich herzutreiben. durch den Apparat get#tet wer- den. da in diesem Falle die Sto#platte durch die Erde, die die Tiere vor sich hersto#en, bet#tigt wird. Damit der gegen einen Lauf- kanal eingestc-llte Apparat sich nicht vor erfolgtem Schusse verschieben kann. ist an der Bettungsplatte ein Auge 17 angebracht, durch das ein Holzstab in den Boden gesteckt wird, der den Apparat in seiner Stellung festh#lt.
