Versuche haben ergeben, dass es eine kritische _lusstossgeschwiridiglzeit gibt, über welcher die Gefahr eines Angreifens der Gesenkl;
Turbine blade and methods and equipment for their manufacture. The present invention relates to a turbine blade, as well as a method and a device for its production and aims to make this production cheaper by using methods which are less time-consuming and more extensive than those previously used.
In the case of such blade systems, in which the blade part that is inserted in the peripheral groove in which the blades are fastened has the same cross-section as the part protruding beyond this groove,
For example, the blades can be obtained by cutting off pieces from a bar rolled to the required cross-section. In this case, suitably designed packing pieces are then placed in the circumferential groove between the individual blades.
The present invention relates, inter alia, to a method in which the blades with a thickened root (that is to say, different roots from the rest of the blade part in terms of cross-section are pushed from the same piece of metal.
In some cases this foot is expediently designed in such a way that it forms the adjacent fitting, and in many cases it is shaped in such a way as to keep the blades at the required distance from one another and in an appropriate position.
With such a design of the blades, the cutting of the latter a1) a rolled or drawn rod is not used. The formation of the blade with its base by milling or other machining is both necessary. ie expensive.
The present invention provided the possibility of a method by which the shovel with its foot or with. a metal mass, from which the foot can be emptied, can be formed from a sli (@ l @ e.
This method consists in forming the virtual blade of a complete turbine blade element from a metal block by ejecting the mefall from a die plate which has a recess. in which the blade root in one piece with. the rest

<tb>
The <SEP> two-part <SEP> die plate <SEP> 1 <SEP> lies <SEP> so <SEP> in a carrier 2 that it fits on wedges'. (The die plate can also consist of more than two parts). A recess i in the die plate has either the cross-section, the blade root or such. This foot can then easily be further machined from the metal mass formed in the front plate.
At the port of the recess 11 there is an opening 5 which has the cross section of the actual blade.
The i @ -liiridunn- of the recess is conically widened towards the top in order to facilitate the introduction of the metal block 6, which generally has the same, but somewhat small cross-section as the recess <B> The </ B> the recess shown is designed with parallel walls over most of its length, but in some cases it can be advantageous to allow the walls to converge over the entire length of the recess.
The cross-section of the recess can also be adapted to any particular shape of the blade root that appears suitable.
> But the hinge plate i is. a fall block 7 is provided so that when it falls it presses the metal block ss into the shape of the recess 4 and at the same time drives out part of the metal through the opening 5, and thereby, as shown in FIG 3 and t indicated, the blade 8 forms.
In reality, of course, a small amount of play is required between the tool <B> 7 </B> and the recess -1, but this has not been given in the drawing for reasons of clarity.
Stops 9 are placed on the carrier v to stop the movement of the drop hammer when the required amount of metal has been expelled.
In the Geserik plate shown, the pressure is exerted against the Ausstossöff voltage. In some cases, however, it may seem advantageous to exert the pressure in a direction other than in line with the flow opening. However, from the standpoint of easier execution of the procedure, the arrangement presented is the most advantageous.
The size of the metal block used does not depend on the required length of the shovel and the size of the foot. In contrast, the metal block is always small, and it is important that the work process proceeds quickly in order to cool the metal block and the material that has already been ejected below the temperature at which it is still ejected can be avoided.
It is best to use a rapidly operating press to generate the necessary pressure; however, other devices can also be used, for example a drop hammer or a fast-acting hydraulic press. be used.
If a drop hammer is used, its height and weight must be regulated in such a way that the desired pressure and the required ejection speed are maintained.
It has been found that in the manufacture of shovels that are supposed to have a sharp edge, it is advantageous to determine the root part so that its sides and especially its corners do not coincide with the sharp edges of the shovels. In order to avoid too rapid cooling of the metal lot in the neighboring area, these edges create such an edge as a result of the cooling and thus hardening effect of the die plate and around the metal in the vicinity of those edges.
To give distribution than is conducive to its even outflow into the shovel. However, it turned out that if the foot is made much wider in every direction than the shovel and the whole work process goes on with sufficient speed, the metal of the block is consistently sufficient. remains hot in order to flow evenly into all parts and to enable the formation of sharp edges.
Tests have shown that there is a critical shock-shock time, beyond which the risk of attacking the die;
latte is present, this speed depends. to a certain extent depending on the size and shape, of the piece that has been expelled, and during. If you need to work quickly in order to prevent the metal block from cooling down too much, the following must be observed during the work process:
> be measured that the discharge speed. that critical value. Iri (@llt exceeds.
In cases where sharper edges are required for the blades than they can be produced with the above-described method, the discharge opening is designed so that it is seen in cross-section at the thin edge of the blade , a wart, or other suitable localized thickening; forms.
In general, it is preferable to form this protrusion or the like on the convex side of the blade so that it can subsequently be removed by grinding, milling, honing or the like. But in some cases it can be formed on the concave side, or it can extend either towards the concave or towards the convex side.
In some cases there were difficulties to be overcome, which resulted from the fact that the blade edges, namely the thinner edge, are jagged. These difficulties can be overcome by making one or more indentations in the side walls of the groove - # directly above the discharge opening 5.
It can be seen that the replacement of various milling and other previously necessary operations, all of relatively long duration, with a single, quickly executed operation saves a lot of time and work and therefore the production costs be reduced.
