Wendepflug.
Reversible plow. The invention relates to a reversible plow which can be coupled to a tractor. It has a group of only right-turning plowshares and a group of only left-turning plowshares, which are connected to one another in such a way that when one group is lowered, the other group is inevitably raised.
1 and 2 represent the subject of the invention in an exemplary embodiment from, with FIG. 1 showing a side view and FIG. 2 showing a top view of the same.
a means the drawbar of a tractor to which the frame b of the plow is pelt. This carries on a common axis r, two hollow shafts d and e, each of which is firmly connected to both a right-turning blade f and a left-turning g.
The drive for the changeover of the plow scliare is conceived in such a way that a double cranked auxiliary shaft / t. can be rotated into one or the other operating position by means of a gear wheel adapter i, in which, as a result of the crank position, the drive on the plowshares locks itself.
The actuation of i takes place via the guide rod n, the guide pole a and the intermediate shaft j by hand by means of an adjusting lever k which, in one or its end position, corresponds to the rotary pole m. or m 'is detected.
The cable d finally serves to live the whole plow frame b with motor power from the field, so that the switching from right to left takes place on the ploughshares in the air. Since the small adjusting force required for this on the drive lever k can be carried out by the plow operator himself, a second man is unnecessary.
In the present example, the levers in and the rod lengths n of the switching device between i and j are selected so that the plow shares cover half the switching path while the plow frame b is moving upwards, i.e. they shear-like close in order to move apart again into the operating position when the frame b is moved down.
Here, however, cause slight uplifts of the main axis c over the arable soil during plowing only a negligibly small adjustment of the plow shares, so that they are practically free of reaction to uneven ground.
If you want to plow from the raised position of the frame b by lowering it to the other side, then the shaft j only needs to be turned over in such a way that the guide pole 7n reaches into ', \ vag requires almost no movement of the plowshares . Your changeover for the other plowing direction happens only again by lowering the frame b, in that the handlebars n is now controlled from nt '.
Instead of the steering device, one of the known, equivalent guide curve devices can of course also be used.
The main advantage of the reversible plow is that it can be used to plow to the right or left without the need for a second operator, so that furrow after furrow is laid and the earth is only thrown downhill, especially when plowing on slopes becomes.
