PatentansprücheDescription [0001] The invention relates to a stanchion for a rail-mounted stake car. In rail stanchion cars are used for the transport of long goods such as wood and pipes. The stanchions are lateral handrails attached to the stake car. Modern stake cars include a base on which so-called timber benches are mounted. Each Timberbank comprises a substantially U-shaped cross member, which is arranged on the base frame and preferably releasably attached to the underframe. The stakes are plugged into the two upturned ends of the Timberbanks. The invention is based on the finding that with a redesign of the stanchions a more efficient and flexible use of stake car is possible. The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment and with reference to the drawing. FIG. 2 shows the two parts of a stanchion according to the invention, FIG. 3 shows the parts of the stanchion in a first assembled state, and FIG. 4 shows the parts of the stanchion in a second assembled one Status. Fig. 1 shows in a section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of a stake car Timberbank 1 according to the invention formed in two parts stanchions 2. The Timberbank 1 comprises a substantially U-shaped cross member, in the ends of the stanchions 2 are inserted. In the left half of Fig. 1, the boundary line 3 of a first gauge section G1 and in the right half of Fig. 1 with dash-dotted line the boundary line 4 of a second gauge section G2 is shown with dotted line. In its normal position, i. in the unloaded state of the stake car, the stanchions 2 are slightly oblique to the boundary lines of the clearance. If the long goods, e.g. Tree trunks or tubes loaded with stake cars often push the stanchions 2 slightly outwards. The inclined position in the unloaded normal position ensures that the outwardly pushed stakes are still within the boundary lines of the clearance profiles. Fig. 2 shows an inventive Runge 2 in detail. The stanchion 2 consists of two parts, namely a straight elongated lower part 5 and an upper part 6 with a straight portion 7 and an angled end 8. The lower part 5 - or at least its ends - is a hollow body, so that the lower end of the lower part. 5 on one end of Timberbank 1 (Fig. 1) attachable and the upper part 6 in the upper end of the lower part 5 can be inserted. In the straight portion 7 of the upper part 6 two holes 9 and 10 are mounted at a predetermined distance. At the upper end of the lower part 5, a bore 11 is attached. The lower part 5 and the upper part 6 can be assembled thanks to these holes 9, 10 and 11 in two different states. Fig. 3 shows the stanchion 2 in the first assembled state provided for the clearance gauge G1. The straight portion 7 of the upper part 6 is inserted into the lower part 5 such that the bores 9 and 11 (FIG. 2) are aligned. A plugged through the holes 9 and 11 and secured bolt 12 connects the lower part 5 and the upper part 6 releasably to each other. Fig. 4 shows the stanchion 2 in the second assembled state provided for the clearance gauge G2. The straight portion 7 of the upper part 6 is inserted into the lower part 5 such that the bores 10 and 11 (FIG. 2) are aligned and the pin 12 is inserted and secured through the bores 10 and 11. The stanchion 2 shown in the left half of Fig. 1 is composed in the first state and is located within the clearance G1. The stanchion 2 shown in the right half of FIG. 1 is assembled in the second state and is located within the clearance G2. The upper end of this stanchion 2 shown in the right half of FIG. 1 would pierce the boundary line of the smaller clearance gauge G1 and thus is located outside of the clearance gauge G1. The invention has the advantage that the stanchion cars equipped with such stanchions 2 are easily convertible from one state to the other state, so that on traffic routes that are developed for the gauge G2, corresponding to the gauge G2, opposite the gauge G1 increased load volume can be used. Thus, with the invention, a greater loading volume in two different clearance profiles is achieved for rail-bound stake cars. claims
