Description

Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The invention relates to a locking device for a glazing arrangement according to the preamble of patent claim 1 and a glazing arrangement with at least one locking device.
[0002] Glass windows and glass doors are indispensable architectural elements which have been used in modern buildings for aesthetic as well as practical and economic reasons where they are not absolutely necessary because of their function. Known windows and doors of this type comprise a frame on which are arranged pivotable or displaceable glazing.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a user-friendly and, at the same time, little expensive locking device for a glazing of this type.
[0004] This object is achieved by a locking device for a glazing arrangement with the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.
[0005] Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention is explained in more detail below by means of a drawing, by way of example. Show it:
1 shows a perspective view of a rail with two mounted carriages, which according to a preferred embodiment of the glazing arrangement according to the invention are provided with a folding closure as a locking device according to the invention,
2 and 3 show an elevational view or a side elevational view of the rocker arm of such a folding closure,
4 shows a view from below of this rocker arm, FIG.
FIGS. 5 and 6 show an elevational view or a side elevation of the lever holder of such a rocker arm,
FIG. 7 is a plan view of this lever holder,
FIGS. 8 and 9 show a side elevational view and a plan view, respectively, of the folding closure in the assembled state,
FIGS. 10 and 11 show the folding flap mounted on the carriage, and FIG
12 and 13 show a perspective view of a rail with two mounted carriages, which according to another embodiment of the glazing arrangement are each provided with a folding catch in the locked or in the unlocked state.
1, are elongated narrow bodies with parallel outer surfaces and two inner narrow cavities 4, 5. In the lower, relatively deep cavity 4, preferably two to four rotatable rollers are arranged over an elongated web 6 of a rail 7 in order to allow displacement of the carriages long to the rail 7. In the upper, less deep cavity 5, a glazing 9 is preferably fastened via a thin U-shaped rubber foil 8, also called rubber profile.
[0008] The length of the rail corresponds approximately to the width of a window or a door. On the other hand, the length of a carriage generally corresponds only approximately to the width of a glazing, if the window or the door consists of at least two glazing units. The rail according to FIG. 1 has two further guide webs 10, 11 for the slides 2 and 3, each with a glazing 12, 13, two of which can be displaced such that the window or the door Up to about one-third of its width. The frames for the glazing, of course, have upper guides for the upper edges 14, 15, 16 of the glasses.
The rail 7 according to FIG. 1, which comprises the three elongated webs 6, 10, 11, also referred to as track or wheel tracks, is provided to guide the rollers of the carriages. The inner part 17 of the rail is formed like an elongated plate, which at the same time creates an aesthetic effect and prevents the penetration of rainwater. 1, one carriage 1, 2 is provided with a recess 18, 19 for a respective flap closure 20 and 21 in the locked or unlatched state. The rail webs 6, 10, 11 are provided with through holes in a lower area where they do not interfere with the movement of the rollers to allow the outflow of rainwater to the outside.
At the right end of the carriage 2 according to FIG. 1, accommodated in the corresponding recess 19, the elongate locking element 21 is arranged horizontally in the pressed-in state so that the carriage 2 can pass frictionlessly past the left carriage 3. On the other hand, the closure element 20 is shown in the protruding state, so that its right front side 22 abuts the front side of the carriage 2, which causes the right slide to be locked.
[0011] Thanks to a suspension arranged in the inner region of the slide, such a closure element has two stable positions, so that it tipping over from one position into the other after each pressure which is exerted slightly on its actuating surface. The closure element can be so (FIG. 13) that it is pushed completely into the recess in the non-arrested position, which is only partially the case as a folding closure according to FIG.
[0012] In other embodiments, the folding closure can either protrude completely from the recess, ie, parallel to the surface of the slide, or at least partly at an angle to this surface (FIG. 12).
As can be seen from FIGS. 2 to 4, the tilting lever 23 of a preferred embodiment as a folding closure basically consists of an elongated thicker part 24 and a shorter thinner part 25, wherein preferably both parts have the same width. A relatively large recess 27 is provided between two ears 28, 29 in a region 26, where both parts are integrally integrated. Both parts also have, for example, a, for example, a round, flat recess 30, 31 for the one part of a preferably disc-shaped permanent magnet system.
As can be seen in FIGS. 5 to 7, the lever holder 32 of the rocker arm has a projecting narrower head part 33 with an axial bore 34, a wider central part 35 with an upper, for example round, flat recess 36 for another part of the Preferably disk-shaped permanent magnet system, and an end portion 37 with an axial tapped hole 38, the middle and end portions being preferably the same width as the rocker arm, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9. The head part 33 together with the large recess 27 (FIG. 4) of the tilting lever 23 forms a hinge which allows a pivoting movement of the rocker arm. The lever holder and the rocker arm are jointly connected together by means of a bolt which passes through the axial bore 34 (FIG. 5) of the head part 33 and through bores 39, 40 (FIG. 4) of the ears (28, 29). The entire folding flap is embedded in an ad-hoc recess (18, 19, FIG. 1) of the carriage and fixedly connected to it by at least one screw carried through the threaded bore 38. In the embodiment according to the figures, for example, the total length of the rocker arm can be approximately 72 mm and the total length of the float holder can be about 36 mm. The end face 41 (FIGS. 8, 9) of the longer part of the rocker arm, where a damper may be arranged, may be somewhat inclined to abut against the end face of the adjacent carriage in the locked position. For example, FIG. 8 shows a round flat recess 31 for the corresponding other part of the preferably disc-shaped permanent magnet system. Instead of permanent magnet systems, it is also possible to use mechanical suspension systems, in which case the recesses 30, 31, 36 and 43 must then be appropriately dimensioned. For example, a magnet system may comprise two permanent magnets or a permanent magnet and a soft magnetic disk.
In the illustration according to FIGS. 10 and 11, the movement of the folding closure mounted on the slide is indicated by dashed-dot lines. The end face of the large flap of the rocker arm is provided with the damper 42, that is to say with a, for example, glued, thin plastic film, in order to effect damping during impact.
[0016] The rocker arm 23 and the lever holder 32 can preferably be made of aluminum and / or plastic. The flap can be operated by Fland or with the foot or the shoe tip.
[0017] For example, the glazing for doors can have a glass thickness of 10 mm and a flea to 3 m, and the glazing for windows can have a glass thickness of 6 mm and a flea to 1.6 m.
[0018] In a glazing arrangement, the locking device is mounted or mountable at a distance from the bottom surface of a glazing carriage, wherein it is designed as a folding closure comprising a rocker arm and a lever holder. In addition, it can have springs and / or magnets which precisely define two stable tilting positions. The folding closure, in addition to a rectangular shape, can also have a round or oval shape.
