The invention relates to an arrangement for externally highly conductive series and parallel connection of batteries by graphite, in which a soldering is unnecessary and can be difficult to oxidize.
Typically, a plurality of single batteries for producing a high-performance battery pack by a metal connector in series, parallel or serial / parallel connected. The positive pole and the negative pole of the corresponding single battery are usually made of a nickel-containing metal, and the metal connector is also made of a nickel-containing metal. This is mainly because the nickel-containing metal is not easy to oxidize and is characterized by high stability. In Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, there is shown the conventional connection of batteries, in which the connecting plate 10 made of nickel is fixedly connected to the metal pole 12 of the battery 11 by soldering, regardless of whether the single batteries are connected in series or in parallel.
The outer contact resistance of the battery pack is reduced due to the tight connection by soldering 13.
It should be noted that although realized by nickel connection plate and soldering electrical connection of the poles of the respective two single batteries can meet the basic needs of the electrical connection, but still is not optimal. In summary, the disadvantages of the conventional technique can be described as follows:
1. After a long-term use, it is not avoided that oxide or foreign substances adhere to the nickel connecting plate and the soldering points, which eventually leads to a higher resistance of the connecting plate.
2. The junction of the metal plate and the poles of the batteries are designed as soldering points that are characterized by small contact area and high resistance.
This causes the temperatures of the poles of batteries and the soldering points during charging and discharging due to the resistance to be increased exceptionally. This ultimately results in additional energy loss.
3. The pitch plates are characterized by high production costs. Soldering is also a time consuming and labor intensive process. For these reasons, conventional connection of batteries is not economically equitable.
Based on this, the inventor believes that the conventional connection of the single batteries of a battery pack can not meet the needs of the economical economy and the high conductivity. By dispensing with the soldering process, low manufacturing costs for materials and increasing the efficiency of the electrical connection of the individual batteries, on the one hand, the disadvantages of the conventional technique can be eliminated. On the other hand, the existing connection technology of the individual batteries is promoted considerably. This represents the main motive of the arrangement according to the invention.
A first object of the invention is to provide an arrangement for externally highly conductive series and parallel connection of batteries by graphite, in which two batteries are connected in series or in parallel by an alloyed graphite connector. The inventive alloyed graphite connector is connected by dispensing with soldering directly to the poles of the batteries so that a highly conductive connection is realized. In addition, the alloyed graphite connector is characterized by low manufacturing cost, whereby the manufacturing cost of a battery pack can be significantly reduced.
A second object of the invention is to provide an arrangement for externally highly conductive series and parallel connection of batteries by graphite, in which two batteries are connected in series or in parallel by an alloyed graphite connector. The alloyed graphite connector is difficult to oxidize, with the alloyed graphite connector and the plus and minus poles of the batteries dissolving together after connection. That is, the impurity on the surfaces of the plus and minus poles may be peeled off by carbon particles of the alloyed graphite connector so that the carbon particles of the alloyed graphite connector are located in the recesses on the surfaces of the plus and minus poles. As a result, the nickel-carbon alloy takes place.
In this way, the disadvantage is to be overcome that the discharge of the large current due to the high external continuous resistance can be carried out only with difficulty.
This object is achieved by an arrangement for externally highly conductive series and parallel connection of batteries by graphite, which has the features specified in claim 1 and 4 features. Further advantageous developments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
According to the invention, an arrangement for externally highly conductive series connection of batteries by graphite, which mainly comprises a first battery, at least one alloyed graphite connector and a second battery. The first battery is equipped with a positive pole made of nickel and a negative pole made of nickel on its outer sections, which provide power for the first battery. The at least one alloyed graphite connector is configured as silver graphite (silver-carbon alloy), copper-graphite (copper-carbon alloy), silver-copper-graphite (silver-copper-carbon alloy), etc. and electrically connected to the positive pole of the first one Battery connected.
The second battery is equipped with a positive pole made of nickel and a negative pole made of nickel on its outer sections, which provide the second battery with power. The negative pole of the second battery is in this case electrically connected to the alloyed graphite connector so that an electrical series connection can be established between the first and the second battery.

Referring to Fig. 3, a first and a second battery are serially connected by at least one alloyed graphite connector so that higher conductivity can be achieved by the series connection between the first and second batteries.
The first battery 20 is cylindrical and provided on its two outer portions each with a positive pole made of nickel 21 and a negative pole made of nickel 22, which provide for current output of the first battery 20.
The alloyed graphite connector 30 may be used as alloyed graphite such. As silver-graphite (silver-carbon alloy), copper-graphite (copper-carbon alloy) or silver-copper-graphite (silver-copper-carbon alloy), etc. be executed. Furthermore, the alloyed graphite connector 30 is electrically connected to the positive pole 21 of the first battery 20.
The second battery 40 is in turn provided on its two outer portions each with a positive pole made of nickel 21 and a negative pole made of nickel 22, which provide for power output of the second battery 40. The negative pole 42 of the second battery 40 is electrically connected to the alloyed graphite connector 30. By a spring 50 and a stopper plate 51, the negative pole 42 presses against the alloyed graphite connector 30 so that the electrical connection between the alloyed graphite connector 30 and the first battery 20 and the second battery 40 can be well retained. In this way, a series connection between the first and the second battery 20, 40 is made.
In addition, the graphite poles 401, 402 are connected to the negative pole 22 of the first battery 20 and to the positive pole 41 of the second battery 40. In this case, the graphite poles 401, 402 apply as the final current output section of the first and the second battery 20, 40. In addition, lines 403, 404 can be installed as a current output line when the graphite poles 401, 402 are formed in the graphite pole 401 or the graphite pole 402.
With reference to Fig. 4, a first and a second battery are connected in parallel by a first and a second alloyed graphite connector so that a higher conductivity is ensured by the electrical parallel connection between the first and the second battery.
The first battery 60 is cylindrical and provided on its two outer portions each with a positive pole made of nickel 61 and a negative pole made of nickel 62, which provide for power output of the first battery 60.
The first alloyed graphite connector 70 may be used as alloyed graphite such. As silver-graphite (silver-carbon alloy), copper-graphite (copper-carbon alloy) or silver-copper-graphite (silver-copper-carbon alloy), etc. be executed. Furthermore, the first alloyed graphite connector 70 is electrically connected to the positive pole 61 of the first battery 60.
The second battery 80 is cylindrical and provided on its two outer portions each having a positive pole made of nickel 81 and a minus pole 82 made of nickel, which provide for power output of the second battery 80. The positive pole 81 of the second battery 80 is electrically connected to the first alloyed graphite connector 70.
The second alloyed graphite connector 90 may be used as alloyed graphite such. As silver-graphite (silver-carbon alloy), copper-graphite (copper-carbon alloy) or silver-copper-graphite (silver-copper-carbon alloy), etc. be executed. Furthermore, the second alloy graphite connector 90 is electrically connected to the negative pole 62 of the first battery 60 and the negative pole 82 of the second battery 80. By a group of springs 50a, 50b and the stopper plates 51a, 51b, the first and second alloyed graphite connectors 70, 90 press against the negative pole 62 of the first battery 60 and the negative pole 82 of the second battery 80, respectively the first and second alloyed graphite connectors 70, 90 and the first and second batteries 60, 80 can be well retained.
As a result, an electrical parallel connection between the first and the second battery 60, 80 can be produced.
In addition, in each case a line 405, 406 as the current output line of the first and the second battery 60, 80 when forming the first and the second alloyed graphite connector 70 in the alloyed graphite connectors 70, 90 are installed.
In the foregoing, the important components of the inventive embodiments and their assembly are explained in detail. Since the alloyed graphite connector of the invention according to the invention is connected according to directly serial or parallel to the individual batteries, the soldering process is unnecessary when forming a battery pack. As a result, a high electrical transmission efficiency is ensured by the invention. In addition, the costs for soldering are saved by the invention.
From Fig. 5-1 it can be seen that the positive pole 41 of the second battery 40 and the negative pole 22 of the first battery 20 are made of nickel. Consequently, it is unavoidable that impurities 500 and oxide 200 adhere to the surface of the nickel-made positive pole 41 and the negative pole 22, respectively, resulting in increased resistance of the first and second batteries 20, 40 upon discharge and consequently reduced discharge efficiency first and second battery 20, 40 result. In Fig. 3 and Fig. 5-2 an inventive arrangement for highly conductive external connection of batteries is represented by graphite, in which the alloyed graphite connector 30 is electrically connected to the positive terminal 41 of the second battery 40 and to the negative terminal 22 of the first battery 20 is.
In addition, the alloyed graphite connector 30 is difficult to oxidize, with the graphite alloy connector 30, the positive pole 41 of the second battery 40 and the negative pole 22 of the first battery 20 after connecting the alloyed graphite connector 30 to the positive pole 41 and the negative pole 22 can dissolve into each other. That is, the carbon particles 600 of the alloyed graphite connector 30 can peel off the foreign matters 500 and the oxide 200 on the surface of the nickel-made positive pole 41 and negative pole 22, so that the carbon particles 600 of the alloyed graphite connector 30 are finally in the recesses on the metal surface of the negative pole 22 and the positive pole 41, resulting in a nickel-carbon alloy.
In this way, an increased line efficiency between the alloyed graphite connector 30 and the first and the second battery 20, 40 can be achieved. In other words, the current in the inventive arrangement for highly conductive external connection of batteries by graphite due to the absence of the interference by the oxide 200 and the foreign matter 500 smoothly between the first battery 20, the alloyed graphite connector 30 and the second battery 40 flow. Not only does this ensure a reduced resistance between the first and second batteries 20, 40, but a smooth discharge of the first and second batteries 20, 40 can also be promoted.
From Fig. 6 it can be seen that a plurality of individual batteries 301 are connected by some inventive alloyed graphite connectors 302 so serial, parallel or serial / parallel, that a high-performance battery pack 300 results. Since the alloyed graphite connectors 302 and the poles made of nickel can dissolve into each other after connection, the line efficiency between the single batteries 301 is increased. Compared to conventional technology, in which the individual batteries are electrically connected by soldering of the nickel metals, the external resistance is apparently reduced by the inventive arrangement for highly conductive external connection of batteries by graphite.
In addition, the resistance at the electrical connection between the individual batteries 301 and the alloyed graphite connectors 302 and the working temperatures are also reduced by the inventive arrangement. In other words, the loss in discharge can be reduced by the battery pack of the present invention, whereby the current energy of the battery pack can be smoothly and efficiently output.
Besides the aforementioned cylindrical metal battery, aluminum foil battery as shown in Fig. 7 may also be used in the arrangement of the present invention. The aluminum foil battery is equipped with a positive pole made of nickel and a negative pole made of nickel. Referring to Fig. 7, an alloyed graphite connector 30 for series connection of two aluminum foil batteries 101, 102 is respectively electrically connected to the positive pole 105 of the aluminum foil batteries 102 and the negative pole 104 of the aluminum foil batteries 101. It should be noted that metal batteries and aluminum foil batteries differ only in their external appearance. With the two battery types, a same electrical connection effect can be realized. This means that the inventive technique can be used in all types of batteries.
The main thing is that the plus and the negative pole of the battery are made of nickel. As a result, a highly conductive external connection of batteries can be achieved by the alloyed graphite connector according to the invention.
