Abstract

The device has a display case (1) including sliding openings on its top and a toothed pinion arranged between toothed wheels, where the openings are arranged to form a digit 8. Mobile strips are arranged below the openings, where each strip has a contrast color layer (2) with respect to a dial of a watch i.e. mechanical watch, or an instrument i.e. measuring instrument. A mobile strip control unit controls the strips to indicate or hide the contrast color layer. A spring maintains the strip in position against a cam.

  [0001]    La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage digital mécanique pour cadran de montre ou d'instrument.

  

[0002]    La présente invention touche tout particulièrement le domaine de l'horlogerie, plus particulièrement l'affichage numérique sur le cadran d'une montre mécanique, mais elle peut très bien s'appliquer aux instruments à mesure.

  

[0003]    Autour des années 1970 les premières montres à affichage digital ont montré la possibilité de représenter la lecture de l'heure non plus par des aiguilles, mais par des chiffres luminescents sur le cadran de la montre. Cela présentait une nouvelle façon de voir l'heure avec un design nouveau, mais avait le désavantage de consommer beaucoup d'énergie. Est venu ensuite la solution grand digit (chiffres occupant toute la surface du cadran); cette fois-ci, le système est basé sur l'application des cristaux liquides avec une faible consommation de courant. La commande de la lecture des chiffres est assurée par un petit calculateur décomposant la vibration d'un quartz associé à un diviseur de fréquence. La montre à quartz était née.

  

[0004]    Avec le développement du microprocesseur, la lecture digitale devenait une mode.

  

[0005]    Depuis quelques années, la montre mécanique a repris son ascension avec des systèmes performants surtout autour de l'organe régulateur du temps. La lecture de l'heure restait classique avec des formes d'aiguilles et de cadran personnalisées.

  

[0006]    La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage conforme à la revendication 1. La présente invention concerne en particulier un affichage qui présente la même géométrie que l'affichage à cristaux liquides. La visualisation des chiffres est cependant provoquée par le déplacement d'une lamelle sous l'ouverture de la fenêtre. Dans un mode de réalisation, la commande des lamelles est directement associée à un dispositif de cames commandé par le mouvement mécanique ou la mise à l'heure.

[0008]    L'ensemble est constitué d'un boîtier (1) sur le dessus duquel sont pratiquées 7 ouvertures. La géométrie de ces ouvertures forme le chiffre HUIT. Fig. 1

  

[0009]    A l'intérieur de ce boîtier, des glissières (3) permettent aux lamelles (11) de se déplacer perpendiculairement aux lamelles Fig. 2.

  

[0010]    Est également positionné des canons (5) permettant à l'axe (6a, 6b) de se positionner et de tourner dans ses logements.

  

[0011]    Des goupilles (4) disposées entre les lamelles permettent au ressort (10) de plaquer la lamelle dans de la came.

  

[0012]    Sur l'axe (6a) un ensemble de cames (13A1, 13A2, 13A3) sont empilées et fixées solidairement l'un à l'autre. Par-dessus l'ensemble une roue dentée (12a) vient s'ajouter afin de permettre à l'ensemble de tourner pour libérer les bras de lamelles (7) dans les creux de dents Fig. 3.

  

[0013]    Sur l'axe (6b) le même ensemble décrit plus haut est assemblé avec les cames (13B4, 13B5, 13B6, 13B7) et la roue dentée (12b).

  

[0014]    Entre les deux roues dentées (12a, 12b) un pignon denté vient actionner en rotation les roues dentées. Elles sont synchronisées entre elles.

Fonctionnement

  

[0015]    Lorsque le pignon denté (8) directement associé au mouvement vient tourner les cames tous les 36[deg.], les bras des lamelles (7) viennent se positionner dans les creux des cames permettant le déplacement des lamelles (11) et de montrer la couche contrastée pour dessiner ainsi suivant un ordre précis la forme du chiffre attendu.

  

[0016]    La fig. 1 à titre d'exemple représente le chiffre 2, on voit très bien sur la partie droite la couche contrastée (2) et sur la partie gauche la couche (14) identique en couleur au cadran.

The assembly consists of a housing (1) on top of which are made 7 openings. The geometry of these openings forms the figure EIGHT. Fig. 1

  

Inside this housing, slides (3) allow the slats (11) to move perpendicularly to the slats FIG. 2.

  

Is also positioned guns (5) for the axis (6a, 6b) to position and rotate in its housing.

  

Pins (4) arranged between the slats allow the spring (10) to press the slat in the cam.

  

On the axis (6a) a set of cams (13A1, 13A2, 13A3) are stacked and fixed integrally to one another. On top of the assembly a toothed wheel (12a) is added to allow the assembly to rotate to release the lamella arms (7) in the tooth recesses FIG. 3.

  

On the axis (6b) the same assembly described above is assembled with the cams (13B4, 13B5, 13B6, 13B7) and the toothed wheel (12b).

  

Between the two toothed wheels (12a, 12b) a toothed pinion actuates in rotation the toothed wheels. They are synchronized with each other.

Operation

  

When the toothed pinion (8) directly associated with the movement rotates the cams every 36 [deg.], The arms of the slats (7) are positioned in the recesses of the cams for moving the slats (11) and to show the contrasting layer so as to draw in a precise order the shape of the expected figure.
