Description

Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a mold assembly for shoe manufacture, and more particularly to a mold assembly having positioning plates on two lateral molds to effectively prevent the material from leaking.
Background of the invention
A conventional mold assembly for shoe manufacture is shown in Figure 1 and generally comprises a lower mold 1 comprising a cavity 4 defined in its upper surface, two lateral molds 2 capable of forming the lower mold 1, and an upper mold 3, which is placed between the two side molds 2 and closes the cavity 4. The material for the shoe sole, for example rubber, is injected into the cavity 4, which then hardens and forms the shoe sole. However, it is difficult to accurately position the side molds and the upper mold 3.
Therefore, the material easily exits the gap between the side mold 2 and the upper mold 3, or the material can not uniformly fill the cavity 4. Either situation requires extra work to remove the excess material, or even discard the product because the rubber is not evenly distributed. Moreover, the shoe sole made by the conventional shoe molding arrangement can not have beauty patterns on the peripheral surface thereof and therefore can not attract the attention of consumers.
The present invention aims to provide a mold assembly for shoe production.
The mold assembly includes two positioning plates on top of the two side molds that close the gap between the upper mold and the side molds so that no material leaks out of the gap.
Summary of the invention
The present invention relates to a mold assembly for shoe manufacture, and the mold assembly comprises a lower mold having a cavity defined in the top thereof, two lateral molds releasably connectable to two sides of the lower mold, and an upper mold on one arranged upper edge of the lower mold. Each positioning plate has a widening defined in an inner side thereof, and the widening has defined beauty patterns therein. The positioning plates with the outside of the upper mold.
The present invention will be illustrated by the following description, taken in conjunction with the figures for purposes of illustration only, showing a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

<Tb> Fig. Fig. 5 is an exploded view to show another mold of the shoe-manufacturing mold assembly of the present invention.
Detailed description of the preferred illustration
With reference to Figures 2-4, the shoe manufacturing mold assembly of the present invention includes a lower mold 10, two lateral molds 20, an upper mold 40 and two locating plates 30. The lower mold 10 has a cavity 50 formed therein Top is defined, and the cavity 50 is complementary to the shoe sole. The two side molds 20 are releasably connected to two sides of the lower mold 10.
Two positioning plates 30 are the extension of two respective top surfaces of the two side molds 20. Each positioning plate 30 has a bulge 301 defined to the inside thereof, and the bulge 301 has defined beauty patterns in the inside surface. When the upper die 40 is moved to the upper edge of the lower die 10, the locating plate 30 snugly abuts the outside of the upper die 40 to seal the gap between the upper die 40 and the side die 20. *** "
The material such as rubber is injected into the cavity 50 to form the shoe sole, and the positioning plates 30 prevent the material from exiting the gap between the upper mold 40 and the side mold 20. Because the positioning plates 30 have beauty patterns in the inner surface of the bulge 301, the shoe sole thus has beauty patterns on the peripheral surface.
Fig. 5 shows an exploded view with another mold assembly for the inventive shoe production. This has a lower die 10, two lateral dies 20, an upper die 40 and two locating plates 30. The lower die 10 has a cavity 50 defined at the top, and the cavity 50 is complementary to the shoe sole. The two side molds 20 are detachably connected to two sides of the lower mold 10, and a plurality of notches 201 are defined at the upper edge of each of the two side molds 20.
Two positioning plates 30 are disposed on the two respective top surfaces of the two side molds 20, and each of the two positioning plates 30 includes a plurality of protrusions that can be inserted into the notches 201 in the side molds 20. Each positioning plate 30 has a protrusion 301 defined on an inner side thereof, and the protrusion 301 has beauty patterns defined therein. When the upper die 40 is moved to an upper edge of the lower die 10, the locating plates 30 abut on the outside of the upper die 40 to close the gap between the upper die 40 and the side die 20.
The material such as rubber is injected into the cavity 50 to form the shoe sole, and the positioning plates 30 prevent leakage of the material from the gap between the upper mold 40 and the side mold 20. Because the positioning plates 30 have beauty patterns in the mold Inner surface of the widening 301, the shoe sole thus has beauty pattern on the peripheral surface.
The positioning plates 30 may be replaced with another set to have different beauty patterns.
While we have shown and described the figures in accordance with the present invention, it should be apparent to those skilled in the art that other embodiments can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
